Visited the new location 6:15 p.m. Wednesday evening in a group of eight. They were obviously in a hurry to open - definitely not the restaurant they once were. Parking is atrocious. Dirt lot, driveway is dirt with ruts. People parked in the driveway making pulling out a nightmare. Bar noise (trivia night) came across the speakers in the dining room where people were trying to dine and have conversations. Doors to the private room were opened and the dining room got very cold. Apparently the heat wasn't on in that room. Food was terrible. Ordered the Thanksgiving wontons and the turkey dinner special. Wontons were dry and without flavor, even with the gravy and cranberry sauce. Turkey dinner was so salty and the stuffing was a wet clump of clay. Best thing was the cup of tea. And oh yeah, out of tiramisu. They should have stuck with what they knew best - they were fabulous when they owned Rose's Place. Bigger isn't always better. If they want to be a bar, then give up on the restaurant thing because they're not doing it well. Wow. If you don't like hearing the reviews then don't ask for them. read more

Have been going to Polo's for many years. Live the new location! Plenty of parking and very nicely done inside. I enjoy the plentiful portions and great service. Highly recommend the Asiago Sliced Steak sandwich. Comes cooked to order just perfect. I like my steak rare and the slices on the sandwich were tender and juicy and just melted in the mouth. read more

simply no. not sure how the place is usually full of cars, youll find better places to waste your money on frozen food. hadnt been to polos since they changed location, was in the area so went there for dinner. the waiter took forever to come take our drink order, place wasnt even busy, they had one other table besides ours. got the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer.... the dipping sauce was like water with food coloring. absolutely no flavor. i got the penne vodka with grilled chicken. i didnt even finish half of it because it was so bad. the chicken was like frozen strips from a tyson bag heated up. the vodka sauce was absolutely disgusting and so thick. i felt so nauseous after eating what i did. my husbands meal was some balsamic pasta. he said the chicken was gross and the flavor was alright but so strong and over powering. we then waited almost 15 minutes for our check, after he walked past us done eating. i went up to the front to see if the hostess would ring us up but there was none. she left and the bartender saw me standing there and just went about her business. the waiter mustve seen me standing at the front so they got up and came to our table and asked us if we wanted dessert while our bowls were stacked with napkins waiting for the check. if youve gotten this far, im sure you can tell we will not be going back. the food USED to be good and the staff USED to be attentive. food was as bad as the service. read more

We have ordered take out from Polo's a number of times. Most times are delicious, but most recently some of the items didn't translate well for takeout, specifically the nachos which were definitely over cooked and inedible. However, every other time has been great! I recommend their burgers or their flatbread pizzas!!! If you are ordering takeout, just be mindful that not all dishes are as good takeout! read more

Please don't be fooled by the exterior or name, this is an awesome restaurant. Everything we had was delicious. I had the pretzel, disco fries , the flatbread that was on the special and strawberry and pecan salad. My friend and I split the salad and disco fries and she ordered a burger with mashed potatoes and she loved it. The restaurant was short staffed, really busy and was completing take out orders but did a decent job of keeping up. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

Can't really give a much better review than previously, but we went again this past Friday evening and everything was just perfect. Attentive staff, we were seated quickly to comfortable surroundings. I believe our server was Amy, and she was just great. I got the Philadelphia Cheesesteak sandwich with cheddar, and I would put that against anything the City of Love could put out. Much better than Pats or Ginos, no comparison actually. The 5 alarm wings were to die for, literally! Hot stuff, not for the weak of palate. I love them, cold beer to wash it down. My wife got a flatbread pizza type dish and the seasonal corned beef egg rolls that he raved about. This is just a great little spot that never disappoints. I honestly thought about giving this location a one star just to keep how amazing this place is. Travelling extensively, I never thought I would find what I would consider a Gem in Morris County New Jersey! Although service speed could be improved for those on the work lunch hour, I would say the quality of the result far makes up for it. The portions are generous and I have never had a bad meal. Polo's Bar & Grill is AWESOME. My husband and I first discovered them through Door Dash. My husband loves a good burger and this place does NOt disappoint. The burgers have been juicy and flavorful. You can also not go wrong with the chicken pot pie! I didn't know what to expect since their speciality is pub food, but I enjoyed it a lot. The food is premium pub grub. It is delicious with a lot of variety and great salads. They take their food seriously. The wait staff is excellent and service oriented. However, the restaurant is an old VFW hall and the acoustics may well be the Tower of Babel. The hardwood floors plus the hardwood ceiling combine to produce an environment where you have to shout to be heard. This is not a place where you go to have a conversation or even seek to speak to the wait staff. You will not be heard absent shouting. A great place to eat and watch a game but don't take anyone here if you wish to speak with them because it ain't happening. read more

Polos is a dichotomy in my book. A great restaurant and a sports bar with TV's, but with separation. You can quietly have a dinner and discussion and still see a TV for updates or you can sit at the bar and really get into the game. The food is really top notch and the service was great.
