My wife and I had a fantastic breakfast experience at Pomegranate Restaurant in Aurora, Illinois. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which really set the tone for a great meal. We ordered sunny side eggs with hash browns, Oreo pancakes, fries, a bagel with cream cheese, and Nutella French toast--and everything was absolutely delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crispy, and the Oreo pancakes were a fun and indulgent treat. The Nutella French toast was rich, sweet, and flavorful, and even the fries were fresh and well-seasoned. You can tell they care about both the food and the guests here. Great portions, great taste, and excellent service all around. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid breakfast in Aurora!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice and small little place that serves pretty good breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm a big fan of their sausage gravy. The staff are really friendly and personable.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cutest breakfast/brunch spot in a corner of a strip mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in for breakfast and decided to get lunch. We started with a cup of French onion soup that was included with your order. If you love French onion soup this one is very good. Great flavor, lots of cheese but I would have liked the onions sautéed more. Even with that said, we'd order again. My husband had a burger which was a great size but way overcooked to being dry. I had the Malibu chicken which had no dressing or mayonnaise, cooked to well done on a just passable croissant. We have been here for breakfast in the past, and enjoyed that immensely. Thinking we'll come back for the soup but pass on lunch.

Great service with outside patio. Food came out quick and was tasty! Also has a bar for drinks.

    Side Hash Browns

Food quality has gone done. Nothing is made from scratch - everything seems out of a package heated and served. The has browns that should be fresh and crispy were - poorly structured and soggy. Very disappointed. Not coming back again esp when so many new places around. Really really disappointed!

Great menu! They have anything you could crave for breakfast. The portions are huge. Very friendly server and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the Popeye skillet with bacon, spinach, tomatoes, cheese, hash browns and eggs. We'll be back to try more things.

Saturday a.m. @ 9:15. No wait. Promptly greeted and seated. Ordered coffee to start. Was offered flavored creamer, and coffee urn was left on table. Absolutely love restaurants that do this. Ordered chicken and waffles, and hubby had veggie omelette. Food came pretty quickly. Omelette was piping hot...waffle was cold (chicken was nice and hot). So here's the glitch. Our server, Linda, who was very nice, delivered our food and our check at the same time because she had to "step out" for a bit. She told us Sean would check in with us. He did not. So I was unable to send my waffle back to get heated up. By the time our server returned, we were almost done. I did not complain or make a scene, but this was not acceptable. Both entrees were delicious. I loved the chili syrup that accompanied my waffle. Had it been hot, it would have been even more amazing. And this would have been a 5 star vs a 4 star review.

Our sever was the absolute best. So fun and nailed all the recommendations. Nice chill vibe in there, great for a little healing after a night out. Country fried steak was awesome, that sausage gravy really hit the spot.

    Chicken waffles

My son and I came here for a back to school breakfast and everything was phenomenal! My son got Oreo pancakes and I got the chicken waffles. The Oreo pancakes were not too sweet but had plenty of Oreo taste. The chicken waffles were amazing! The waffles were perfectly crispy on the inside but fluffy on the outside. The chicken tenders were crispy, not greasy, and had very tender chicken inside. The best part that brought it all together was the sweet chili pancake syrup that was well balanced with sweet and spicy. Our server was very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was cozy and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll definitely be back!

Mediterranean Skillet-- I couldn't wait to dig in!
    Jenn S.

Their breakfast is so good. The Mediterranean omelette or skillet- 10/10. Their portions are generous for what you get. Their skillet and omelettes are filled with the veggies and meat (the skillets aren't all potatoes like some other places). Service is great, too! And they have excellent margaritas! Their pomegranate margarita... outstanding! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can get crowded on the weekends so plan appropriately![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a bar and slots to entertain you while you wait (if that's something you're interested in doing).

Ribeye steak and eggs with Lemon Blueberry Pancakes
    Alexis D.

One of my favorite breakfast spots! Their proportions are large and their food is of great quality. I love my steak medium rare but I usually get it a little over cooked when I ask for that. They nailed it though! Steak was delicious and cooked to my liking. The lemon blueberry pancakes are delicious- the perfect balance of citrus and sweetness. No syrup necessary. My server Linda was very attentive and kind. I went to get some work done while I had breakfast and she did a great job of being attentive but not overwhelming. Staff is always super friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend!!

Sunday morning 11 am no wait for a table. We ordered two omelettes and coffee. Food came out quick and the omelettes were delicious! They did not skimp on the avocado and other fillings! So much better than all those honey jams and wild berries, and blueberry Hills, and other chain brunch restaurants!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the waitress was very attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were personally big fans of the dog theme around the restaurant and especially the dogs chillin on the patio. Those furry friends even had a blast at this lovely establishment. We thought the food was above average but nothing special and we were very satisfied leaving with full stomaches. Giannas grilled cheese was perfectly cooked and thank god shes not lactose in tolerant. Aidans burger was slightly overwhelming and messy and eventually had to bring out the big guns with the cutting knife. Overall, great date destination and would recommend to anyone in the naperville area.

This was my 18 month olds dream restaurant experience! For the grown ups, so many choices we will have to come back but I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was tender and there was plenty of it. I really liked the honey mustard sauce as well. The fries are beer battered style and seasoned well, I am picky on fries but I loved them! It's a big place with lots of seating but I could see there being a wait if you go during peak times.

Our server, Umberto, was attentive and pleasant and took good care of us; he was the best part of our evening. However, this is the first and last time I'll ever eat at Entourage. They promise "a dining experience" on their website, but I could get the same experience at your average Chili's or TGIFriday's without the pretense. Why do I say that? It's the noise...oh, the noise. There were a few tables with large parties, so it was pretty loud. Even leaning in closely, it was hard for my friend and me to hear each other talk. And the screaming kids were something else, emitting ear-piercing screams that get your attention, for all the wrong reasons. I didn't see any staff ask the large parties to keep it down or ask the parents to manage their children, which I guess I can understand. Large parties = more revenue than a two-top. But we did not - could not - linger after we ate our meals, or order coffee, dessert, and/or an after-dinner drink, because it was just too loud in there.

I started with the salted watermelon margarita, which was tasty and refreshing with a nice fruity flavor. It wasn't overly strong, making it easy to sip throughout the meal. For appetizers, we shared the spinach dip, calamari, and buffalo bites. The spinach dip was good, and the chips had a nice salty crunch. The calamari was pretty standard, but there was way too much breading, the squid-to-breading ratio was way off. For my entrée, I ordered the steak bowl. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. The menu description mentioned quinoa and brown rice, but they were practically nonexistent. There were maybe a few grains of brown rice in the entire dish, and it mostly consisted of a handful of steak cubes and vegetables. The flavor and sauce were good, but it wasn't very filling. Thankfully, I had already filled up on the appetizers. For dessert, I tried the crème brûlée cheesecake. Honestly, it was nothing special and tasted like a thawed frozen cheesecake with some cheap berry compote on the side. Overall, Yard House is a fine option for hosting large groups thanks to its spacious setup, but I wouldn't come here expecting amazing food. The experience was fine, but the food itself was pretty average at most.

When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.
