I don't know why chain restaurants always get panned on Yelp and other sites. If you're going to a chain place you know what you'll be getting. If you want fancy and trendy then why you going to Chili's?!? In fact now that the price of fast food has skyrocketed, I find the Chili's 3 for me to be a great value given how much food you get for the price. 6:15 pm on a Thursday night. Seated at a booth in the bar area. Waited a good 10 minutes for approach by the bartender/server who apologized for the delay. We each ordered the Smasher burgers as part of the Take 3 special, which includes chips and salsa or a cup of soup or a house salad, plus a soft drink for $10.99. Food arrived quickly. The burgers were way overcooked...very dry. We've had these burgers at Chili's before, and they have always been crisp on the outside, but moist and medium on the inside. Epic fail tonight. Your average all American/tex-mex chain. I haven't been to chili in ages, I want to say about almost 10 yrs. We ordered about everything! Their tortilla chips are light and crispy, which I love. Came with 3 sauces of your choosing. A Sampler like appetizer as well where you can also choose your wings (sauce, bone in or boneless). The mashed potatoes are delicious. I also ordered the mushroom swiss burger. It could've used more seasoning, it was pretty bland, but not a big deal at all as you can add your ketchup or mustard on it. The food came out so fast which I love. The service itself could've been better, but it was fine. We didn't get our refills until we got our bill. Our server and running staff were nice. Stopped over here to get lunch and will never come back again! I ordered a fajita and he asked me if I wanted guacamole. I thought it came with it and I was just saying I want it on the side... don't offer it and then not let people know it's $3!!! I should've said no guacamole. Our server was named Laquoy (I'm not sure how his named is spelled) but he went by Q. He was very kind. When he first came to our table he shook both me and my dates hand and introduced himself. We had questions about the menu and he answered every question we had with patience and kindness. Q made our night feel very special. The food was given to us very quickly and tasted fresh. love this place but this recent experience was repulsive. a child vomited all over the restaurant and i truly mean all over. not just at their table and in the bathroom, but across the entire walkway leading to the bathroom. it left no exposed walking space. instead of being asked to leave, they were allowed to stay. this is a literal biohazard. the restaurant nor parents know what this child has and after it vomited everywhere they let it stay like wtf??? this thing dined literally right next to us. my father is an immunocompromised individual. allowing this to stay is disgusting and irresponsible. could literally cause him disease. on top of this, a customer (that i'm assuming is the mother) argued with me about walking to the bathroom because of her child's vomit being everywhere and there being absolutely nowhere else to walk. i said hey i have to piss idk what you want me to do and she told me to walk around. walk around where??? it's everywhere??? it's absurd that a customer that caused this bs is the one monitoring who can and can't use the bathroom. meanwhile they're sitting there munching away. they aren't cleaning their child's mess at all. in fact, my boyfriend had to inform an employee that the father of this child allowed it to vomit in the sink in the bathroom. they didn't even tell the staff. this was beyond disgusting. obviously this family is the one at fault but i cannot believe they weren't asked to leave considering the amount of other families dining there and the possibility for disease transmission. this family deserves to be banned and they were somehow allowed to finish their meal with no issues. they caused a biohazard, didn't inform the staff of the biohazard they created, and then argued with other customers about the biohazard they created. literally wtaf. genuinely ruined my meal can't lie. all i could think about was how staying could k1ll my dad. kinda hard to eat through that. read more

Chili's 2.0 or should I say Barb(i) 2.0... This is just an update as I thought I should recognized another bartender that makes a difference. In my original review Barb was the reason we went to Chili's. She has since left to bigger and better things. She has been replaced by Barb(i) 2.0. Barbi is now the reason we keep coming back. Her personality, hustle and attitude are an 11 out of 10. Half the time she's tending bar, servicing the bar area AND servicing a section in the restaurant. If you're ever in need of a cold beer and some friendly service on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night, skip the restaurant area and take a seat at the bar. Just remember to be patient as there is only one of her and a whole lot of beer, margaritas and food to be served. read more

The last two times I ordered online from here were really bad. The first time they let the DoorDash guy take our food, I had to go back home so they could remake the food, and barely got an apology, like it was my fault. The last time I got to the ToGo desk, gave them my name and they said the order wasn't ready yet. I sat there for over 10 minutes until someone else asked my name and the order had been sitting there the whole time. I didn't complain the first time, but this time I called the manager. I told him what happened, that our food was cold, our drinks were melting. I got a half ass apology and that was it. I emailed corporate and they again apologized but said there was nothing they could do because we ordered online through DoorDash, to contact them. It wasn't DoorDash's fault, it was their employee. This is the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received. Don't go there, they're counting on their name to get customers. read more

Wow, I wish I would've seen the reviews before visiting this Chili's this afternoon but I've never ever had a bad experience at any Chili's before today. Waiting 45 min when we were told 30 was just the beginning and 1st warning. Restaurant was half closed Im guessing due to Covid but no other Chili's I pass is "half open" especially on a Saturday. There weren't many people in there in the half open side! Anyway, We get seated (6 of us) and wait another 10 min to even be greeted and btw hardly a greeting. Our server was like a receptionist at a dmv. There was no air conditioning, no music and no tv's all over (only in bar area) most locations have tv's and music playing, you know a " lively atmosphere" as with every Chili's. Felt like some diner in the middle of nowhere desert. Food was cold, my steak was well done when I asked for medium and our plates had 3 bites of potatoes served per plate....never had that happen before either! Server was unapologeticly slow and with no concerns about how we were doing. Not her fault I guess as she appeared to be stressed and overwhelmed as she was also bussing tables and sweeping but...how is that our fault? Management needs to step it up! Manager was apologetic and all and explained she was short staffed and the radio was broken..wow. Card swipers were all out too. This place is a complete mess and we weren't the only customers that noticed this. Advise to this location, CLOSE UP or hire staff and managers with experience in handling a well known franchise that's known for being a lively and family friendly experience. Had an opportunity to eat here today. We usually eat at the Wheaton which we love. The service was ok for an 11:30 lunch but the counter was filthy. Our son comment on it to the waitress who said she would mention to the manager. Nothing happened. If the front area is that dirty what's the kitchen like? We won't we back. Rather take the extra time to drive to Wheaton. It's a shame because this one is so close to home. There was another couple there at the same time who actually walked out. Not sure why. Management was completely missing, only 3 employees were working ON MOTHERS DAY. I have been going to this Chili's for years and have never had the experience I have had recently. A couple months ago I was in with my grandmother and we had good service knowing the staffing shortage. We then went back a couple weeks later and sat in the bar area with Barbie and let me tell you she was amazing. I used to be a server and know when I see a hard worker like her. I then brought my boyfriend in this past weekend and as soon as I saw Barbie was working I had to sit in her section in the bar even though I saw how full it was. She was so attentive, got our orders all correct, refilled out drinks, communicated with us she had to make some bar drinks for the other servers so just to give her a minute. She did not have to communicate with us but that little communication went such a long way. I will be back to see Barbie. If you are going in soon ask for her. A waitress popped up 3 minutes later and shared she could seat us, I informed her we'd like to stay where we were if that was fine with the her since we were already seated. Ordered curbside pickup for the crispy tenders, came home with the most non crispy and chewy tenders ever.. this has also happened to us at this location a few times, and we have even gone as to trying to air fry them.. which doesn't help at all. This time we had enough and had to go into the store to swap out for actually crispy ones.. which they informed me they gave me the wrong tenders.. we had to wait in the store for a new set of tenders while the rest of our food got cold back at home with no compensation from having to get back in our car and come back to get what we paid for.. the tray literally said CRISPY on them. Called prior to leaving home to explain the situation and let them know I would be coming back for the crispy tenders. They did not inform the kitchen to make the tenders until after I walked into the store and showed them what I went home with. i've never once had a bad thing to say about chilis. But tonights experience just blew me away. I understand it's Valentines day. But being told its going to be a 30 minute wait to having to wait for almost and hour and a half. While after getting seated it took another 20 minutes for our drinks to come. Ordered food on DoorDash from this location, they gave the driver the wrong order. I can understand the mistake, the names on the order were similar. We contacted DoorDash and they redelivered our order but they gave the driver the wrong order again!! One time is an honest mistake...twice though? In the same night? Both times we got food from the "It's Just Wings" addition so it wasn't even really Chili's food we got. We had to leave and go pick up our order. Why does Chili's keep changing their menu? Obviously their business model works, they are a chain restaurant and people keep coming. A few years ago, they took mozzarella sticks (excuse me, fried cheese) off the menu. Then it came back. Now the Southwest chicken wrap is off the menu. Curse! I had lunch here with my parents on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy, and it appeared the waiters had a little trouble keeping up with the tables (mostly families with small children). It could've been a kitchen issue, as it took a long time to get our food. The food was good. I really like the Triple Dipper (choose 3 appetizers) when I can't decide what I want, and when I promise myself I can't eat an entire plate of chicken crispers. Chicken crispers alone are delicious, but it's a massive, artery-clogging meal. The Triple Dipper is too, I can't lie about that, but I love their southwestern eggrolls. I usually get the fried cheese (eyeroll) as my 3rd choice and it makes a perfect, guilty-pleasure, I-eat-like-an-American, meal. This time I had the eggrolls, spinach & artichoke dip, and the mini burgers. The burgers were terrible. Dry bun and patty, with a teensy bit of cheese and some bacon crumbs. Blah! Worst Chili's experience ever....we didn't get greeted for 10 minutes and the restaurant was only 1/3 full, ordered Fajitas and a kids quesadilla once greeted to try and save time to get some food into our little one. Well that took 45 minutes to come out, Even after the server walked by 3 times saying your meal with be right out. The kids quesadilla came out soaked in oil and barely warm. Both orders of Fajitas were tasteless, luckily the skillet was hot to heat them back up. We tried to leave and pay on their electronic Zoosk thing but it was switched with another table, so it took another 15 minutes to leave since our server was busy singing Happy Birthday to three different tables, where afterward he would scurry away to the back.
