This place was on my Instagram newsfeed, tacos looked good so we decided to give them a try. Location is kind of tricky to find especially if you're not familiar with the area. She took forever adding it up and recreating my receipt something was off after this I won't ever return I don't like people getting over. This place has amazing vampiros and huaraches something I do not usually find in any other Mexican restaurants. They are amazing and Delicious. This place has an amazing salsa bar as well. Neat little taco stop that recently opened up. It is hidden a little bit, so be sure to find it! Located on State College and Walnut, be sure to turn on Walnut and go up and you will find a few businesses located up there with plenty of parking. Do not drive by confused and keep going, like we ended up doing the first time. This place gets quite busy even though its new and semi hidden. The menu is pretty simple. There are tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, and vampiros. I may have missed some things. Each one comes in options of meat such as asada, pollo, pastor, lengua, and maybe another option or two. There are agua frescas as drink options, or cans of sodas. No soda fountain here. There is a small salsa and lime bar. We have already been here twice. If you are a small eater like I have been lately, still be sure to get about three tacos if that is your meal for the evening. The tacos are on the smaller side, but delicious. Most stuff if not all comes on corn tortillas. I have suddenly been on an al pastor kick due to having some good pastor at a few places. So, my first visit I got an al pastor and pollo taco. Steven went with the asada and pastor. Our second visit three nights later involved asada, pastor, pollo tacos and I tried an al pastor vampiro. We also got a Jamaica agua fresca. That Jamaica drink was delicious. I still enjoyed my tacos but was not a huge fan of the vampiro myself. It looked like a hard shell sandwich with cheese which was cool but I did not taste the meat as much. I liked the vampiros better at Adobo Taco where it was more like a tostada and you really tasted the meat. I will have to try some of their other menu items sometime, but I am definitely a fan of this place when I am craving tacos. Plus, it does not even cost much. The four tacos on our first visit was seven something after tax, and the second visit with five tacos, a vampiro, and an agua fresca was fifteen something after tax. Also, sometimes they will offer a random plate of grilled onions which Steven loved and even remarked that they were a little spicy. Customer service is also pretty friendly here. Nice hidden gem. Very clean inside. I was impressed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I cannot eat cilantro and they were very careful to make sure I didn't get any. Clearly they're doing something right because this place is pretty busy. Friendly service from girl who was working on Sunday. I hit up the lunch truck here in Santa Ana which has been posting up downtown and im glad I did. We ordered up some tacos al pastor and chicken tacos also, the al pastor was very tasty, I absolutely loved the handmade tortillas that come with the tacos and thought they were super good. I liked the chicken tacos very much also as they were very good in my opinion , the chicken itself was very tasty, good seasoning on it. The service was fast and friendly , the guy I ordered from which seemed like the owner was super cool and nice, he was appreciative of one's business . Oh boy! These tacos are the real deal. We swung by on a Saturday night and ordered the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada tacos and they were SO good. They definitely hit the spot. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the meat to tortilla ratio was perfect. A lot of taco shops double up on the tortilla but here, their single tortillas were thick enough to hold all the taco goodness without falling apart. But the sides are what drove them home. You get complimentary cucumbers, limes, whole grilled onions, and chili toriados (or grilled chili's) if you choose, and they these really took the tacos to another level, along with the red and green salsas of course. I'd go so far to say that these were one of the best tacos in Orange County and we will no doubt be back. Fast service, friendly staff, and bomb tacos. What more could you ask for? read more

I was craving tacos while in the Fullerton area, and decided to try some here. I got one of each and they were good, perhaps one of the better options for tacos that you can get around here. I agree with the other reviews that the tacos have a slight taste of pineapple. Very unique! Al pastor was my favorite, but I didn't feel that the tortillas that they used were that good. They took safety concerns seriously and everyone was wearing masks, which I appreciated. The location is a bit unusual and there's not much to do other than wait in the parking lot for the food. Overall, a good place to stop by if you want some good tacos at an affordable price. read more

Honest review! I ordered asada and pastor tacos. The pastor was packed with meat however, it was flavorless. I ordered 3 so that was disappointing. The other two got tossed. The Asada was chopped perfect, no extra chewy pieces and was full of flavor! I had to steal one from my kid, but he didn't complain. This evening, my daughters went to pick up dinner for our family. When she got home, we realized that four of the tacos we ordered weren't given to us. When my daughter had ordered, she asked for 'meat only' meaning no cilantro or onions. When she called and explained what happened, speaking with the cook who apologized and said that if she came back they'd correct it. My daughter asked if she should bring back the plates of meat and was told no. When my daughters arrived, my oldest was confronted by the cashier who kept pushing that it wasn't their fault and that it was our fault. My daughter again explained what had happened and that it was a miscommunication and offered to even pay to get the correct order if that made it easier, also pointing out that she was originally overcharged. The cook stepped in and was very sweet, offering to fix it and telling my daughter not to worry and again apologizing. Again the cashier began to confront my daughter and wouldn't let up. This is extremely disappointing... we have been coming here for quite some time and will no longer return. The service received tonight, excluding the cook, was unacceptable. All that was needed was to get the correct order, but it was more Important that the cashier proved the customer wrong. read more

Kind of a simple menu that offers all the familiar eats of a traditional taco shop. Their use of made to order tortillas is a great touch and offers great flavor to the tacos. I tried the al pastor, carne asada and chorizo tacos, all of which where very good. The chorizo taco in particular was packed full of flavor. The salsas they gave us where a little bland , but it didn't really take away from the food since the tacos come with a guachile like sauce on the tacos. I love coming here for lunch with coworkers because it's literally minutes away from our office. We were coming here weekly at one point. The food always comes up pretty quickly and is priced reasonably in our opinion. We never have any issues with parking, staff or seating. I am OBSESSED with their al pastor quesadilla .. pretty sure I order it every time (I know I should be getting tacos but I live in Santa Ana and eat tacos all the time). I don't always get their horchata but no surprise, it's delicious and comes in a pretty big to-go cup. Their salsa bar is pretty standard but you have been warned - their spicy salsa is deliciously SPICY (kept in bottles on ice next to the salsa bar). I must say that this place has a fantastic service, very nice and hospitable ppl. Came here for a quick lunch and I ended up having 8 tacos . Their tacos are not small but I guess I was very hungry. I tried most of their tacos but I think that their asada and shrimp tacos were the best. I think that their el pastor is the big seller but I didn't try it. I highly recommend their salsa verde. I've been wanting to try out this place for quite some time. Wow! This place is delicious! I'm not an expert, but I would say that this place serves authentic Mexican street tacos. And they are so yummy! I got 4 tacos: Asada (beef), Al Pastor (pork), Chorizo (pork sausage), and Apollo (chicken). For me, this was the perfect sized meal. Tacos are about 3-5 bites and come with cilantro, onion, & a guacamole sauce. I always order mine without cilantro. Honestly, I could not find one meat I liked better. When I come back, I'll definitely be ordering this combo! They offer a few other meats and a veggie taco. They also have other Mexican food items. I simply asked one question and the little girl at the register said "If you know how to speak Spanish why won't you just ask in Spanish" first and foremost I was speaking to her directly not the cook. Then she has the audacity to tell me not to go back when I said it was my first time there. I found it very rude and unprofessional and extremely unwelcoming after voicing it was my first time there. Yes I speak Spanish however I'll never disrespect or underestimate anyone's ability of speaking English.. regardless of the situation she said she had her own business. For the uninitiated, al pastor is similar to gyro or shawarma with their layered meat on a rotating spit, searing just the outside, and carved a little at a time. This heavily seasoned pork is just outstanding. At the center of the meat stack is a whole pineapple giving a slow drip of juices to the the surrounding protein. Why one would order anything else here the first time is beyond my comprehension. My al pastor burrito came with seasoned rice, beans, onion, cilantro and was quite delicious. I ordered a quesadilla, carne asada tacos, al pastor and rice and beans. My favorite was the Al Pastor. I've had better but it was good. The carne asada tacos I received were a bit tough and the meat was cold. The rice and beans were a bit bland but the beans did have a spice to them. They were OK. The best thing I have to say were the salsas. They were all good and flavorful. I don't think I'd go back again but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. read more

Good food for a good price, we got the potato taco combo which came with 3 tacos and a said of beans and rice for $9.99, the burritos range from $6.99 to $11.99 depending on the meat or style. Tacos range from $1.99 to $3.79. There is plenty of parking and sitting space. The service was quick and kind. There was a person in front of us, but even then we didn't wait for more than 5 minutes for our food. It is located in a strip mall, not hard to get into but definitely a slower traffic area. These by far are the best tacos in OC. The fact that they make fresh torillas for every order, the waters are always good and our orders have never been wrong. We typically eat in and haven't done any to go orders yet. We recently tried the rice and beans for our baby, rice she liked but the beans have a hint of jalapeno, which is good but too much for our 1 y/o. We go about once a week. Prices are fair for what you get. They don't charge extra for avo sauce. They have a salsa bar, with cucumbers, carrots etc. It gets busy and there isn't a ton of seating so you might have to wait for a table during there rushes.
