Kudos to Ponzio's for keeping the price increases to a minimum as costs have been rising everywhere else. Let's call this place what it is: a crowd-pleasing diner with a huge menu that has something for everyone, with huge portions and affordable options throughout the menu. Is the food great? Of course not. If this is your idea of great food, then you need to get out more. But it's fine. If you can't find something you like here, you're not trying very hard.

Really cute diner with tons of seating that can definitely accommodate large parties if needed. They've got the staples on the menu: omelettes, burgers, wraps, salads, etc. Plenty of selections to please even the pickiest eaters. Bonus, they serve alcohol! I enjoyed a Greek omelette with their home fries which was pretty tasty. I also indulged in an espresso martini which was a nice treat in a diner setting. There's plenty of Italian baked goods up front like cookies, cakes and cannolis to purchase on the way out. Prices are a bit on the higher end for a diner, but you can't really beat the nostalgia of an older place like this. Plenty of parking too. Very kind staff overall.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon. We called ahead so we didn't wait long to be seated and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. Daniel was our server and he was great - he was so fast and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp and Fried Pickles as appetizers. I didn't get a picture of our main courses, but we ordered the Linzio Wrap and the Cubano. We enjoyed everything we ordered and still had extra food to take home. On the way out, we got a couple cookies because we couldn't resist the dessert display. Great place to check out and we will be back!

I have not visited Ponzio's in YEARS! Stopped by late morning for breakfast. I ordered creamed chipped beef with potato pancakes and Avocado toast. When the creamed chipped beef arrived, it was obvious that it was sitting out waiting to be served to me by the look of the bechamel sauce. I was absolutely correct! Put the knife to it and knew immediately it was not hot. The flavor profile was there but it was disappointing. The avocado Toast was good. Everyone that assisted me in the restaurant was pleasant.

I pass this place a lot and always wanted to try it, one day I did. Now this is a very popular place and I would consider this the nicest diner I have been to in NJ. The place is huge. Awesome staff. But the food is ordinary. Now I got breakfast which is hard to mess up and make good so take my review for what it's worth.

A family outing led us to Ponzio's in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This family-friendly diner has been around since 1964 and sells classic American cuisine. It was hustling and bustling on a Saturday afternoon, which was to be expected. We had a party of 10 and were accommodated fairly quickly, given the circumstances. The restaurant is fairly large and feels exactly like what one would expect from a diner. The service was also surprisingly good given how busy it was. As appetizers, we ordered the fried green beans (~$10-13), potstickers ($11), and cheesesteak eggrolls ($13). All three were good, but the cheesesteak eggrolls were the standout. They were cheesy and crispy to perfection! As an entree, I ordered the penne vodka (~$25) which came with a salad and bread, which I feel like is a great deal! The salad and bread were good, but nothing too special. I really enjoyed the penne vodka. The sauce was flavorful and it's a huge portion, good for leftovers/2 meals. Additionally, Ponzio's has some amazing desserts. The dessert cabinet is immediately enticing when you walk in. I ended up ordering an almond tart ($6) with fruit jam which was good, but a little sweet for my taste.

    The Bundy Burger. $18.

The final boss fight of all NJ diners. Dating back to 1964 and one of the biggest diners you'll find in the Garden State. I've lived in South Jersey almost all my life, but can't remember the last time I came here. Finally visited again on a recent Saturday night in March with my ten-year-old son. We arrived at 6:00 and the place was pretty packed, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Felt a little bit like an airport terminal as they used the intercom to call out names every few minutes, telling them to report to one of four or five different dining areas to be seated. Our server was Melissa who was super friendly. Our food came out quickly despite the crowds. I had the Bundy Burger (cheese, onion rings, bacon and bbq sauce) which was good. I will say though, that I was asked how I wanted it, and I said medium, but there wasn't a trace of pink inside the burger at all. My son got the grilled cheese with bacon and said he enjoyed it. Overall not great but far from terrible. We enjoyed our dinner and would come back.

Ponzio's is an easy five stars for me. I drove past Ponzio's a million-trillion times in my life prior to stopping in for dinner earlier in the month. I'm annoyed at myself for skipping it all those years. I ordered the flounder francaise for my meal, which came with two sides and a house salad. I ordered the french fries and cole slaw as my sides, and both were delightful. I loved their cole slaw especially. The salad was fresh too and I love when places have thousand island dressing as an option. They don't skimp on portions, and I needed multiple takeout boxes. Can't review this without mentioning their bread basket. Theirs was STELLAR. Oh my gosh, that cinnamon bread - yum. Oh and their dessert counter is dangerous. Soooo many options! I selected a few cookies, and they were all tasty too. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, the food came out in a normal timeframe, and I left full and happy. Can't wait to return on future Jersey trips.

It was fine. Basic diner feel Service was fine The potato pancakes were good The omelet was good The Ruben was ok. The sauerkraut was a bit subpar and the dressing was bland. The meat was good but could have been cooked a little better

Okay to another update! I just had to log in and share my experience from our family's Easter dinner at Ponzio's! I was all set to order the salmon cakes, that I LOVE, but then saw on the Easter menu - lobster ravioli! Yes please! It had been a while since I had this dish. Their version was SO darn good AND several shrimp were atop - bonus! My super picky niece LOVED her stuffed rigatoni and raved about the sauce it came in. My dad flipped for his broiled seafood platter, and everyone else was very happy with their selections as well. My son cracked me up - "mom, it had too much chicken!" (he had the "heart attack on a plate" - fettuccini Alfredo (but w/ angel hair pasta). How could we NOT purchase some baked goods!? I got a dozen assorted sugar cookies and an adorable bunny (vanilla-vanilla) cupcake. We devoured them at home! Even though I live in Somerdale, the trip to Ponzio's is only 20 minutes flat. I LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!! They made our FIRST EASTER AT A RESTAURANT very memorable!!!! :)

    Salmon on a caesar salad

Stopped in here yesterday for lunch with two coworkers/friends. I had a grilled chicken caesar salad. They had: macaroni and cheese balls, salmon in a caesar salad and a reuben sandwich. We all were pleased with our food. Our waitress was great-friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean which is always a plus. They have an entire bakery which I had no idea about. Stocked with sweet treats for St. Patty's Dat and Easter. Everything looked wonderful! My friend bought a box of cookies and I tried one and it was great!

I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. I usually ask for a side of dressing but didn't this time. I am so glad I upgraded to potato salad. It's only $1 extra and I highly recommend. This reminded me of my family recipe. Prior to going I looked up their beer list on Untappd and was overwhelmed by the beer selection. Unfortunately (but fortunately because it made my beer selection decisions much easier) many of the craft beers listed were sold in cans. The beers on the numbered list on Untappd are the beers available on tap (all other beers listed are in cans or bottles). They still had a nice variety of craft beers on tap and I really enjoyed the few I tried. They seemed a bit pricey though and even the lower ABV beers were served in smaller glasses. We got two seats at the bar around 6:30 on a Friday night. All night people were coming and going and there was nobody really standing around waiting for bar seats for too long. The bartender was nice and he was the only one working when we first arrived but after a bit there were multiple people behind the bar. It definitely felt divey inside. My dad said the bar top was the same bar top from years and years ago when he used to come here when he was my age. We split wings with medium Buffalo sauce and cheesesteak fries. I frequently see Jay's wings mentioned on SJFS and for good reason. They were top notch and I'd come back just for the wings. They might even be at the very top of my wing list (although I'd try a different sauce next time). Incredibly crispy and weren't chewy whatsoever. The cheesesteak fries (cheesesteak served over a bed of waffle fries were also surprisingly good. While at Top Golf earlier in the week our bay host recommended them and advised all the food at Jay's is very good. I wasn't expecting to spend $100+ at a dive bar between two of us but the experience was very good. If I lived a little closer I would definitely be there all the time. Even though the beer list is good I'd probably stick with drinking a domestic draft or bottle the next time I go to avoid spending as much as we did on smaller glasses of craft beer. I will definitely be back and will be looking forward to trying more menu items in the future.

What bothered me was watching Gabby take ownership of problems she didn't create, only to have her efforts seemingly dismissed by management. It was obvious she was trying to improve our experience, but when the manager came to our table, his attitude was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Rather than supporting an employee who was doing everything right, it felt like he was shutting down her attempts to make things right for the customer. The missing items were minor. Mistakes happen. The food itself was fairly lackluster, but the manager's response left the worst impression. Gabby showed professionalism, accountability, and excellent customer service. Blue Monkey Tavern is lucky to have employees like her. Unfortunately, management did not seem to value those qualities nearly as much as they should.

This is indeed a sports bar with live music, and I do mean live, and very VERY loud music. Not that this feature is a bad thing, but on a random Thursday for an early dinner, an ear-shattering double set of various stages of hard rock and classic rock was not expected, and despite there being seating semi-separated from the bar area, the volume is so loud here, I am surprised anyone can even eat; not even sure how conversation is possible. We had to shout to each other at the table until we got lucky and the band graciously took a break. That being said, our food was top-notch! The staff was also extremely nice and our server was patient and attentive and also gave great suggestions, as I always have a hard time deciding on multiple options when a restaurant's menu is as extensive as this. One exceptional highlight were the long hots wrapped in bacon. Just crazy good. Like on another level good...and I am not usually a big appetizer guy. I will always share in what the table orders, but I was ready to hoard these and not be nice about sharing! The sheer variety afforded by the menu makes Kaminski's a great place for groups, as there is truly something for everyone here, and on top of that they have soups! If you didn't know from other reviews, I am freak for soups, and here it is the traditional Avgolemono; a greek rice/orzo chicken soup with fresh lemon. Simply a delight. This is a place we will definitely be returning to and a big part of that is because of the simply massive amount of selection the menu affords. On top of that, everything we had was good. However, I will definitely Be calling ahead to find out if they will have live music on the night we decide to go, which will probably keep us in the Monday to Wednesday range, as I am pretty sure they have live bands for the rest of the week. Kaminski's is definitely worth the trip over the river for us, but we will likely just stop by when we are in the Cherry Hill area for something else. If you live nearby, you are doing yourself a disservice by not going here regularly. Head over and give your eardrums a workout, and your stomach a tasty gift!

The vibe of the place was a casual bar/restaurant setting, but a good amount of seating and very clean. They played great music, cool decor, and good amount of tvs to watch sports. First, the brussel sprouts were incredible. They were perfectly crisped and seasoned and also came with a sriracha aioli was delicious. The potstickers were also SO good. I was shocked how much flavor everything had, not to mention the presentation of all our food was beautiful. Never thought I'd be saying that given it's a super casual bar restaurant vibe. The poke tacos and burger were the topic of conversation the rest of our visit because we couldn't believe how blown away we were. We already want to come back! Dying to try the crab rangoon rolls and she crab soup. We will most definitely be back. I wish I took pictures of everything.
