Christine snow's Pooch patrol is more than just a business; they've become extended family. I've had Christine house sit and dog walk for last couple years; she came highly rated by Dave Tann (Dogs with Dave, who trained my dogs and me to be out in the world). She has a neat gps tracking system so you can see exactly when and where the dog walk took place. It's fun to see. What she does goes way beyond dogs. She's currently also taking care of my daughters zoo which includes 3 snakes (one of which she found escaping and wrangled gently back into his cage) 3 beta and a fish tank; In addition to the 2 dogs and house sitting. More than that, last year on one specifically hellish day, my husband was hospitalized suddenly and I needed to rush up there, at the same time my dog was post op and her incision was swelling and she needed to be seen by her vet. Christine literally dropped everything and got Harley to the vet as her incision broke open. She stayed until she was stitched up and took her home and put her to bed. I hired Christine when my Airedale Terrier Milo was getting neutered. She was recommended by my Trainer Dogs With Dave. I needed someone to come for 3 weeks every week day. I was using another service and though they were good, if something changed and I needed them in a pinch (if Milo had an injury or was ill or had surgery) they couldn't accommodate. When I first contacted Christine Snow, she was extremely responsive and was able to accommodate me without any question. She came to the house, met Milo and made the process very easy. She checks in and out through pet check technology and the makes the payment process very easy. Her rates are reasonable and she is always available (I don't know how she does it actually). She is consistent with commands as he is a puppy and needs consistency. ....and not everyone can handle an Airedale . Milo is challenging, exuberant and quite stubborn but she manages him very well. All good with Christine Snow from Pooch Patrol taking care of your pet -- I hired her once and things were fine when I came back. But, this time trying to work with her was a complete nightmare.... BEWARE she has a TERRIBLE GPS, but the worse part was her POOR ATTIUDE, LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM and LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. 1- We provided her with exact address , she had us wait for her in the wrong spot for more than 20 minutes -- didn't call, I was trying to reach her and her phone shut down 3 times, the 4th time she stopped picking the calls up. 2- She didn't have a clue how to describe where she was so I couldn't come to meet at where she was. She was only available by text, and she only cared to text to say she was tired and leaving. 3- The worse part was her LACK OF INTEREST to take care of business. I had to cancel my agenda to meet with her, my pet is staying WITHOUT care for 10 days, had my husband come out to her to meet wherever she was to make it work, and she could not care less. So if you're going to hire her, you're at high stakes to end up hanging -- and worried to leave your pet home alone for your vacation, plus be prompted to live an absolute painful experience in trying to locate her. The upside is, we will never have to go through the pain again. Good luck to you if you decide to hire Pooch Patrol...the best you can do is DRAW a MAP with Talking directions, and have a driver take her to your place. Once you make an appointment to start service, Christine Snow will personally come and walk you through the application process, meet your pet, and set you at ease. By the end of the appointment, you feel like your pet is top priority. This is the only pet service in all of San Diego that lets you GPS monitor your pet's walk! Once the walker checks in, you get an immediate email alert and then you can remotely watch the walk from there. Talk about feeling secure! I always know when the walker gets to my house and when they leave. Plus, animals LOVE Christine. My puppy is super happy when it's walking day. Pooch Patrol is always willing to work with any schedule and when I'm out of town, I would trust no one else! Anytime someone does an overnight, you get to meet the person and are given direct access to them at all times. They will send you updates and the GPS system is still in place so you know your pet is well looked after. Even last minute scheduling is okay; they work hard to meet your needs. Christine Snow and the Pooch Patrol gang are professionals with a genuine love of animals and their job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that owns a pet. We could never go out of town unless our Pooch Patrol Guardian Angel was watching over our beloved cats, caring for them so beautifully and giving them time and attention and also administering medical care as well. I have an English Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is the sweetest dog I've ever had. I called around to so many dog walkers who always asked me: "What kind of dog do you have?" And when I said my dogs breed, then most dog walkers tended to shy away from wanting to take care of my dog because of her breed. Not Christine. She had no problem taking my little Staffy on the walks she needs daily. Christine Snow's professionalism is outstanding. There are plently of "Dog Walkers" out there that claim that they "love all dogs". Obviously that's not the case when it comes to certain breeds. Upon first meeting Christine, she wanted to meet my dog first. It was very clear to me that she had more interest in the care of my dog than anything else. I'm lucky to have found her for taking care of my dog. Her prices are reasonable. She's always on time and I'll be using her services over anyone elses. Having lived in New York City where the dog walkers there take on ten dogs and just drop them all off at the dog park for an hour as they sit there on their smart phones and iPads, Christine treats my dog one on one. She doesn't just take her on a walk, then moves on to the next client. Christine goes the extra mile, plays with my dog, and gives her the love and affection that all dogs need. I have known Christine for a long time. She use to travel to Escondido to take care of my dogs. She takes care of my friend's dogs who need extreme special care that includes medication. Christine is trustworthy, professional, LOVES animals, does an awesome job of reporting and has become a great friend that I can depend on WHENEVER I need help, even with short notice. So what if the GPS doesn't work. That isn't her fault. She has NEVER had a poor attitude, is extremely professional yet down to earth, and exceeding customer service is her number one objective. First., we have all waited for people - traffic, not knowing where you are going, construction, all kinds of factors that could have happened. And doesn't everyone's phone shut down once in awhile? Technology is not her fault. If you are in a new area, do you always know how to describe where you are? I've ALWAYS depended on Christine with advanced notice and also in a pinch. I will NEVER use anyone else. She is so trustworthy, that we went on vacation for a week out of the country during the Southern California outage, the police came and she was calm as can be, protected our pets and made sure our home was safe from harm. What more can you ask for? Technology has its issues. Finding a new location can be tough if you don't know where you are going. Christine, I love you and my dogs will always love you.
