Phoebe looooves their beef liver jerky. I bought some at the Texas Farmers Market at Lakeline and they've been a big hit in our house.

This location offers grooming services. However, it is not feline friendly. The website claims…read morethey have walk-in services for cats like nail trims. But DO NOT WALK IN. They only have one person who works with cats. And that person is always fully booked working on dogs. So, you must catch her when she can work your cat in between her dog appointments. This means not only do you have to call to find out if she's working, but you also need to find out during her work hours, after talking to her, when she thinks she can fit your cat in on that day! You cannot schedule in advance. You are at the mercy of her dog grooming schedule. Why do they advertise walk-in availability for cats if that is not true? Other locations have given up on cat services and just focus on dogs. It seems like this location is barely trying to service felines.

Please do not let AMANDA B, groom your pet. I see another complaint from a person by name Molly…read moreabout a month ago and I unfortunately didn't see it and assumed all groomers are good in this location. My golden looks fairly skinny now, and terrible cut/trim. I don't think my pet had a good experience either during the salon experience and I ended up spending all my time to get him back to feel fine. I've added a couple of pictures. Very very unprofessional cut and I don't even know if his natural curls/straight hair would come back. Praying it should sooner. I'm just very upset from this experience. I don't think this groomer should get any closer to dogs with good hair. I'm heading over to the store today to raise a complaint.

Two days later, since my cat became a Houdini, I had to return the cone of shame. It was very easy to do. I like the large fish and reptile department. Even though I can't invest in fish again right now, I really enjoy walking around and looking at them. And who doesn't want to check out a snake! It seemed like they had more dog items than cat, but I could be wrong. That may be because in the center aisle I saw a lot of things focused on dogs, like dog Halloween costumes. That said, there was nothing that I saw was lacking for felines. I was able to pick up some food for my little inspiring Houdini and will be back for future cat needs.

Honestly, I am extremely disappointed with the grooming experience at this location. I was…read moreoriginally quoted $167 for two dogs, but when I arrived for drop-off, I was suddenly told the total would be $220. The significant price increase was never disclosed during the initial pricing conversation. After noticing the discrepancy, I called for clarification and was met with a rude and combative attitude from the start. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, Michael and Ben explained that this location adds several extra charges, including a scissor fee, material fee, and breed-based fees. None of these additional costs were clearly communicated when I requested a quote. I have used other Petco locations, PetSmart, and independent groomers over the years and have never experienced such a large difference between a quoted price and the actual amount charged. Transparent pricing and respectful customer service should be standard, and unfortunately, this location failed in both areas. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this grooming salon to anyone looking for honest pricing, clear communication, or professional customer service.

I have to first thank them for being so accommodating. I initially scheduled an appointment,…read morecancelled it about an hour before the appointment, then called and rescheduled for the same time about 15 minutes before the already cancelled appointment. It wasn't entirely my fault, I thought my dog was okay but he wasn't. Any other place would have probably rescheduled me for another day. Dr. Hope Jensen and staff are amazing! She's truly knowledgeable. I appreciate all of the recommendations and her insight. I know my pet is in good hands here!

I wanted to like this vet clinic and did for years, but every visit felt more focused on upselling…read morethan actual care. It seemed like there was always another test, treatment, or add-on being pushed, even for routine appointments. I understand recommendations are part of veterinary care, but the constant pressure made the experience uncomfortable and expensive. Overall, I wouldn't personally recommend Buttercup Veterinary Hospital based on my experience. We've raised German Shepherds for years, so we're very familiar with the breed and common skin and allergy issues. My son's GSD is currently visiting, and I stopped by Buttercup Veterinary Hospital simply trying to purchase more of the medicated shampoo they had previously recommended for itchy skin. I was denied because my own GSD, who was a patient there and was ultimately put down at their clinic, had passed away, so I was told I was no longer considered a current patient. Losing my dog was heartbreaking, and the interaction felt cold and unnecessarily transactional. Unfortunately, that experience reinforced my overall feeling that this clinic focuses more on upselling appointments and services. Find a vet who doesn't shut people out when their pet passes away.

My dad and mum take me here when we are in town and this is my favorite place to run around. Even though I'm just a pup, the grownup doggies teach me new things like how to play chase, sniff and aimlessly run around. I haven't totally braved the water park just yet, but watching the retrievers jump in and fetch has started to build my interest. I did get in the pool up to my chest and got dirty enough to need a bath, but not fully committed to jump in yet. I think if I play it wisely, I'll milk it for all it's worth and probably will get a few more trips in before I take the plunge. Luckily, the park has multiple wash stations on the way in/out, so my humans can clean me up nicely before our ride home. Not my favorite thing to do, but since it's a doggie dog world, I have to live by their rules. Now that I'm 7 months old and weigh 30 pounds, I can play in the large dog area which is much more fun for me. When I was under 30 pounds, I used the small dog area which is overall a bit smaller in size, and the grass is a bit "ruff", so not as much fun. Also too many yapping pups there for my taste. So if you have the zoomies and are in the area, come by and say hi, or come play with me as I'm looking for new friends all the time. I'll be the black /white pup with the one blue eye, the Australian accent and hanging out next to the pool.
