I ordered a 1-1/2 HP In ground Pool pump from them. Basically, a Hayward Super Pump imitator. The first one came with a cracked impeller casing - water just poured out. I also noticed that all of the exterior screws were damaged - showing someone had already been inside this pump - a return from a different customer? They were very good about the return and sent me a new pump even before I sent back the first one. However, the second pump came with a bent impeller shaft causing it to churn the water and add a lot of air to the system. I sent them pictures. Now they want me to return this pump again and are giving me a refund - they will NOT send another pump. But I am out two installation fees ($185 each) from the first two bad pumps that they will NOT compensate me for. I feel that their pumps are very cheap Chinese knock offs. I cannot recommend them for pumps. read more

I ordered a pool pump and filter system that's advertised for up to 34,000 gallon pool, I have a 21 foot round which is way below that, opened the box and it looks like a system for a 12 foot intex pool, called to start a return and was told I have to pay for shipping to return and I would be charged up to 50% restocking fee!! How is that fair when you sent me a product advertised to work with my pool and it's far from that! I will be returning the product today and will never order from this company again, they have false advertising! Save yourself the headache and don't even bother ordering from this company! read more

Look elsewhere before you buy: I purchased in September 2020, a 12x24 split blocker WINTER cover. $86.86 Unfortunately it did not last one season. Water leaking from the pool through the top of the cover. After sending pictures they denied the warranty due to normal wear and tear. Its mind boggling. Normal wear and tear is usually years later. Not one year. I've had cheaper pool covers that lasted 4-5 years. How any company can base a decision on a picture is pathetical and bad business. Especially when it was maintained properly. Cleaned and packed away in a finished basement. I've been a pool owner for 40 years. I'm well aware of how things need to be cared for. So, its your call. But i would try other companies first. There's plenty of them on the internet. And businesses in your local area as well. read more

I just want to thank Poolsupplies.com for approving my warranty request. The 20x50 solar cover I had ordered last year started to come apart and after a few emails and pictures , they send me a new cover. All I needed to pay was the shipping cost. I ordered 24 1lb bags of chlorine. Within a week the product arrived and I began to remove the bags from the shipping carton to a plastic container. I counted 23 bags instead of 24 and contacted them by phone. The woman I spoke with told me "I'll ship another one Free of Charge" Oh boy, she was doing me a favor as it was my fault they shorted me in the first place. With that attitude I'll never purchase anything from them again. read more

Purchased a 16 X 32 solar cover in 2018 from Pool Supplies. Recently made a claim based on cover material failures. It was their very best cover with a ten year warranty. Sent photos to Pool Supplies of all the failures which very clear to see. They E-mailed me a few days later stating the cover failures weren't valid. I've ordered products from them over the years, but will not that the mistake again. Good luck if you purchase warranty items from them....... read more

Although I saw many negative reviews I decided to give Poolsupplies.com a try. They had one of the best prices on a pool reel I wanted. I went to their website, found what I was looking for, placed it in the cart and made the purchase. I placed my order on a Monday, it shipped on Tuesday and I received it on Thursday! When I ordered a solar pool cover reel, within days my credit card was cancelled. An employee there got the credit number I had given and used it for a shopping spree in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Luckily I have an extremely safe credit card company who flagged it immediately and shut down my credit card protecting me from further charges that were not mine since I never travel. I would "NEVER" go to this establishment as whomever works there are extremely dishonest employees. read more

The prices are great and they ship for free if you are local. Not really set-up as a retail store so if you think you can just stop by and pick up a new cover for the pool, you will be disappointed. But like I said if you call and tell them you are local, like I did, they shipped same day for free. read more

The worst customer service you could ask for!! I called to order a new filter and automatic pool cleaner for our pool this summer, I was told that they would both work together without any issues. When the filter and cleaner arrived I set them up but the cleaner didn't work, I called and spoke to 2 employees that kept bouncing me around and finally got a straight answer out of one saying the cleaner will not work with the filter and was told "you can return the cleaner but there's nothing else we can do for you" at this point I'm highly irritated and asked for a manager, she said she can get me a bigger filter but she would have to charge me the difference and since we wanted it for the holiday weekend she would 2 day ship it...received the email from FEDEX and it will not be here for 7 days!!! Thank you poolsupplies.com for your extremely poor customer service, ruining my families holiday weekend, and your lack of knowledge on your products!!!
