We ordered from here on Friday, and even with the reasonable pricing we spent over $70. The goat biryani was flavorful, but the goat meat was a little dry. The paneer tikka masala was one of the best we'd ever had. The veg was nice and soft with just the right amount of crispness and the paneer was soft and palatable. The butter chicken had a wonderful tomato flavor and was super creamy. The samosa chaat was also very good. We moved to the area 3 years ago and we hadn't found an Indian restaurant that we were really happy with. We are very excited to try everything on the menu here. Our family is guaranteed to be coming back as regulars to this establishment. Also - it's very brave to jump out of your comfort zone and make a different kind of cuisine (from the subs). We are so happy you are pursuing this venture!

My wife and daughter stumbled upon this amazing spot in Brick and could not stop talking about how phenomenal the food was. We went back the next week and I gotta say - everyone reading this: run, don't walk to this. The food is the best I've ever had, anywhere. I would pick out individual dishes but what's the point? Every single thing we ate was expertly crafted by the warm and welcoming staff and, for the budget-conscious, very reasonably priced. Go go go! Order or go in today and treat yo'self!

I was looking for a local spot that could deliver easily and offer a variety of options to please a crowd, and I stumbled across this deli. To my delight, I saw they also had Indian cuisine on the menu--I was so excited! Now, I know it might sound unusual to some who aren't familiar with Indian food, why are they selling out of a deli?! lol but have you ever been to OakTree road in Edison? Lol Or for those still holding onto memories of what Poor Boys used to be. But if you're looking for food packed with incredible flavor, this is the place to go! For a business meeting dinner serving 16 people, I ordered a variety of dishes: vegetable curries, lamb, chicken, naan, lentils, samosas, and, just in case some of my partners were hesitant to try something new, I ordered wings and a tray of assorted subs with chips. To my surprise, the subs were great but were almost untouched--everyone was drawn to the delicious aroma of the hot food. Everything was an absolute hit, and I'll definitely be returning. It feels great to support a small business with both heart and amazing flavor. Highly recommend stopping by or ordering from here! Thank you Shashi!!

Lower-Samosa Chatt Middle Left - Dal Makhani Middle Right- Chana Marsala Top- Garlic Naan

We read the reviews and decided to try it out. We ordered samosa chatt, dal makhani, and Chana masala. All three were great!!! The chef is an older man with 27 years of experience. They just opened last month.

Great service and awesome sandwiches. They were swamped due to Lax tourney and stayed very friendly for hours. We went twice.

The parking situation was little challenging as street parking is available but limited or you can park a few blocks away near the tennis courts closer by school. There are also some paid parking lots closer by. The restaurant is located upstairs so you need to take elevator. They have ala carte and buffet options, but buffet is only available on specific days. As you enter the restaurant, the lobby area was well designed thoughtfully and very welcoming. As you enter the restaurant, the main dining area has nice vibrant colors all over the place and it is beautifully decorated. The staff greeted us and gave us a booth table alongside the windows where you can watch the downtown. The menu is great and we had good collection for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. We ordered appetizers as tandoori chicken, cauliflower 65, aloo tiki chaat. Then, for main course, we ordered garlic naan, egg fried rice and methi matar paneer. The food came at very good pace with the restaurant had five other tables occupied. Gobi 65 - it was more towards saucy than dry side like most of us would have expected, but it still tasted good. Tandoori Chicken- was cooked perfect and tender and presented great. Aaloo tikki chaat is probably the best of the appetizers. Presentation and taste was fantastic. The extra filling of malai or paneer was little overdo but was tasty. For maindishes, methi Matar paneer was good and we ordered it as spicy. The overall taste was excellent but we felt the spice as after taste that is the only issue. Garlic naan was made fresh and tasted perfect. Star of the show was egg fried rice and well seasoned and right mix of veggies and egg. The rice was cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The price is on the higher side but the ambiance, location and food makes it a place not to miss.

We have been living in this area for over 20 yrs and I'm ashamed to say this has been my 1st time stepping a foot into this establishment. It was a Thursday night and we were the only people in the restaurant and that had me a little worried but that quickly changed after they brought the complementary snacks to the table. Not sure of the names of the items but let me say all 3 toppings were delicious as well as the cracker. One was sweet one was spicy and then there were some peppers. We ordered the lamb samosas and omg they were delicious right along with the Papri Chaat. I will be honest I was not sure what to order but I went with the combo mix and asked for a sauce on the side that's not spicy. I asked the owner for his recommendation on which bread to choose and he said the garlic naan and what a great choice. I'm not sure what my son ordered but it was a chicken dish and he said it was phenomenal. I honestly can't wait to return and try other dishes. This is definitely a hidden gem and it's BYOB.
