This company is one of the worst around. The people who own it are complete losers. They lie, cheat, and basically do ANYTHING their little pea brains can come up with to not have accountability. Not only the Oahu "outfit", but they are 100% connected by blood to the owners of the Big Island "outfit". Both owner/operator couples are raging alcoholics, which is typically nobody else's business, except in this case it fully 100% affects the daily operations. Cathy and Jack waste thousands of dollars hopelessly trying to impress the who's who of Honolulu, while not realizing they are a trainwreck that anyone with sense can see/hear/smell coming a mile away. Also Rob and Cinde that run the Big Island expansion, are rotten fake serpent type people as well. They also schmooze and booze and lie to everyone they encounter in some way on a daily basis. Both sets of "owners" are basically grownup old and shot out trust fund kids that are drinking their way through the day to day operations. A pair of sisters "owns" each one but each is actually driven by the conniving and unhappy little sorry excuses for men of the relationships. All this woman owned business stuff is smoke and mirrors beyond the names on paper, with the sole purpose of courting favor with whomever will give any sympathy/money/connections to them for it, including Uncle Sam. They are the type of people to bring "dear friends" halfway across the globe to help them do all the heavy lifting and start Big Island branch, after also straightening out the Oahu branch, and putting a stop to theft within the company, wrangling crappy employees and getting their crappy name up outta the mud as much as possible and getting the only good reviews they had received in several years to that point, while owners of both left to a convention in Vegas (to drink and schmooze), and then when the Big Island branch didnt grab traction in the first year, while fissure 8 opened up in '18, while there are native Hawaiians and people that are from there, and have lived there awhile who are really desperately needing assistance, left those same "friends" stranded and never really paid wages for 8 months work and a van build out (5-7k$)to 2 employees, and broke every promise made to get the "friends" to move in the first place, resulting in the total ruination of 3 fully good lives. If thats the kind of people you really wanna fork over your hard earned do-ra-mi to, then be my guest. If not.....boycott them, dont call them, ask your insurance to send a different company, anything you can to avoid Cathy&Jack and Rob&Cinde. I promise if you DONT use them, you will have a happier existence. Trust me. I know. Im one of the 3 people that they used, chewed up and spit out and left stranded. And im still recovering because covid hit as i was rebuilding. Thanks for literally absolutely positively nothing. You suck pop a lock. Give up. This past Friday night I was working in Nu'uanu and didn't get off until 2345. As I was leaving the client's home, I noticed immediately that my car was driving differently. Pulled over and upon inspection realized I had a flat tire. Having changed tires in the past, I went straight to the trunk and started pulling out the spare, jack, etc. After trying for about 15 min to get the tire off the car, I gave up and called for roadside assistance. I was told that it would be an hour plus before someone could assist me, so I was prepared to wait it out. In 10 minutes Geoff called to confirm my location and told me he was in the neighborhood and would there shortly. As soon as we hung up, he pulled up, jumped out the car, did introductions and went straight to work. I told him that I was surprised that he arrived so quickly since I was told it would be an hour or more. He told me that he was OFF, heard the dispatch, realized he was close by and decided to come and help me! What a nice guy...truly a blessing, as I didn't want to be sitting out there for an hour. After placing the spare on my car he advised me not to drive too fast or put over 100 miles on the spare. I am a manager at Century Park Plaza, and I would like to express my concerns regarding the behavior of a technician who recently provided service at our property. The technician displayed a significant lack of professionalism during his visit. Despite being directed by both security personnel and the tenant he was servicing about where to park, he refused to comply, stating that the designated area was too far away. This individual appeared to be within the age range of 25 to 35 years and was a Caucasian male. His conduct included inappropriate language and derogatory remarks. One particular comment directed at my security team member was, "I hope you are proud of yourself." Furthermore, as he was leaving, he suggested that I should report him to his employer, which I assured him I would do, emphasizing the need to address his unprofessional behavior. While I do not typically engage in formal reviews of this nature, I believe that if this individual were part of my staff, he would face immediate termination for his conduct. read more

Kyle is a pop-a-lock savior! His speed and creativity will certainly get you out of any unique lock out problem! He arrived within 20 minutes of my initial call. Painless and truly a sport helping me out. I had rented my my car with Economy who were only 2 miles from my lock out post. They were going to charge me $150 to come with the spare to unlock the car. I opted with my own credit card insurance and with my program's roadside assistance I was put in touch with Pop-A-Lock. I was relieved to hear it would only cost me 69.95+tax. The lock out tale: The unfortunate matter to my situation was that my keys were in my trunk. Once Kyle popped open my car, he brainstormed a plan to get into my trunk. My car was fully automated and would not respond to the trunk lever unless my keys unlocked the brain of the car. With his trustee google search, he was able to use his personal keys to unlock my back seat pull down mechanism and ta-da! We had access to the trunk and to my keys. These guys are a life saver!!! I went out to dinner last night, only to come back to my car and realize that the keys were still in the car. Horrible life decisions I know. I was just devastated and stuck over by SALT Kakaako not really sure how of the different locksmith companies or how long it would take, or anything. I was a wreck. In enters these guys, which were the first here on Yelp. Gave them a call around 10pm thinking there's no way they're going to answer. Sure enough, they answered and had someone sent out to my location within 20 min because he happened to be in the area. Just angels! The guy was so friendly, he was positive and just assured me this happens all the time, and it took him less than 2 min to get me back into my car. I can't thank these guys enough. I did NOT want to spend the night there, but thanks to Pop a lock, I'm now back at work like nothing ever happened. Horrible customer service! Never talked to such a rude "supervisor" in my life! Today I saw one of their drivers driving erratically in Kailua with their cell phone on the dash - watching TV as he was driving! I opted to call the company number prominently displayed on his car roof instead of the police, and was completely brushed off. When I requested a manager or supervisor, I got attitude, and it only went down hill from there. Sharon the "supervisor" immediately got snotty and informed me that they didn't have any one on call in that area, so that driver was minding his own business in his own car and they didn't care what he was doing. I was appalled at the attitude, so I asked if they really didn't care even though the company name was on the car, she said "nope" and hung up on me. Such a class act, If that's a supervisor I guess it explains the crappy attitude across the board! read more

Needed to Get my doors unlocked and contacted Geico who uses "Pop-A-Lock". It was a very busy night they said but hopefully they will be there within a hour. Kyle ended up being sent. He showed up quickly and was very professional. He opened my door literally within 3 minutes of being on scene. He even protected my window and door from damage. After retrieving my keys, he even reprogrammed my FOB so it would no longer Autolocks till the car is in motion!!! Great Service, Very Professional, and Free!! so i had the nightmare experience of locking my keys in my apartment last night. ugh!! it was after 8pm so i called Pop-a lock hoping they could help. Zach came in about an hour. he saw what the lock and door was like and knew it may be difficult. apparently i have a break in proof lock, which is great for safety but not so good for locking myself out. Poor Zack worked on that lock for about an hour and a half with no luck. The lock had to be destroyed and a new one installed. Luckily it worked and i was finally in my apartment. It was almost 1pm so i have to say customer service is top notch! Zach also told us where we can go to get the old lock replaced so my original keys will work. Who likes getting stranded in a mall parking lot on Christmas Eve with a hangry toddler in the car? Definitely not my ideal way to spend the holidays. I contacted my insurance and they dispatched roadside assistance via Pop-a-Lock. I received a confirmation text from my insurance company informing me that service would arrive in less than 70 minutes (Gahhh). He got here 15-20 minutes before the appointed time. He also called a minute before arrival that he was near. I liked this because it was safer for me to be indoors until he arrived. I would like to acknowledge Tyler for exceeding our expectations with servicing the flat tire on our Toyota 4Runner. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and quick with fixing the tire. He was so fast that it took a total of 15 minutes to take off the spare from beneath the car, exchange it out with the flat, put air in the spare and secure the lug nuts. He totally saved our night by showing up for us. I also really appreciated how willing he was to help go above and beyond when I asked a favor to put on my two license plate covers, in which was not part of the service call but he gladly helped anyway! Great, fast, professional, and friendly service! It's a holiday Mon, and I was in Kailua with a flat tire. I called Honda Roadside Assistance which transferred me to Pop-A-Lock. Terry checked to make sure I was safe and took my info efficiently and professionally. At the end of the call, he wished me a "better day"--a nice nuance that was friendly but didn't ignore that I was sitting there with a flat tire. Not more than a couple of minutes later, I got a text message with details about the help that was on the way. Greg arrived within half an hour, with a big jack and power tools. I got so excited about my new car, I locked the keys in the trunk as I was switching the contents from one to the other. Mind you this is Sunday morning. At first is was tuff getting beyond the tight Alarm system locking down any opportunities to get into the car. I locked my keys inside my car and called my roadside assistance and provided me with vip towing. I waited for them from 4:30-630 at night just to tell me that the driver said he doesn't wanna come back. So I called roadside assistance again to get someone to open my car and they told me pop a lock is coming within 60 mins. Not even 40 minutes tayler (pop a lock driver) showed up to open my car and it only took him less than 5 minutes to open my car. The kid was very nice and very helpful. I accidently locked my keys in the trunk of my car while at Sandy Beach. My Allstate roadside assistance contacted Pop a Lock and they sent out their Locksmith Zack who was quick, courteous, and funny. I was so thankful to have Zack help unlock my car so that I could get my keys. After unlocking my car in a super swift manner he offered to make me a copy of my car key as a back up. Pop-A-Lock was incredible. We broke our key, lost the chip and were not able to start our car. After calling Pop-A-Lock, they sent Paul to help us. He arrived in less than an hour, wore a mask and was very respectful. He was also so kind that it made car troubles as easy as they can be.
