I ordered the Hummus Stacked Bowl with Lamb. As soon as you're seated, you're served warm pita bread to start. Each table has olive oil, salt, and pepper available for dipping, which made for a simple but delicious beginning to the meal. The pita was warm, fluffy, and had outstanding texture and flavor. Despite the restaurant being busy during its first few hours of opening, the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The presentation alone was enough to make me hungry, but the aroma of the lamb had me ready to dig in immediately. The hummus, which serves as the foundation of the dish, was silky smooth and velvety when paired with the olive oil. The grilled squash and onions added a wonderful contrast of textures, blending perfectly with the warm ingredients while still maintaining a satisfying bite. Their seasoning was spot on. Bright red cherry tomatoes brought a fresh, vibrant element that tied everything together beautifully. The bowl also came with additional pita and seasoned pita chips, adding even more variety to the meal. Overall, Meddys absolutely exceeded my expectations. For a restaurant that had only been open a few hours, the food, service, and execution were impressive across the board. I was blown away and can't wait to return and work my way through the rest of their beautiful menu.

I enjoyed the feel of the place and loved the live plants. I looked at the menu, that I grabbed on the way through and decided upon a vanilla latte. You go upfront to the counter and order. I was very tempted by one of their pastries, but I just decided to have the latte until I could decide what I wanted to eat for breakfast. Everyone was so nice and even brought a carafe of water to my table, since I was hobbling around with a cane (I'm waiting for my hip surgery). I was so delighted to see a beautifully decorated latte; in a simple white shallow mug, delivered direct to my table. I ended up ordering a light breakfast...one egg over medium, and some sourdough toast, with butter and their lovely jam. Everything was done perfectly, and the jam was divine. I will definitely be back again and next time I want to try some of their delectable baked goods with my latte.

Loved this place!…read more Omaha was such a surprising place for its range of high quality food. Memoir was only a few blocks away from our Moxy Hotel. We were able make a reservation on Open Table. Food (5/5): We had some wonderful food here. We had the following: TSUNAMI MAKI inside * shrimp tempura, crab mix, cream cheese / outside * crab stick tempura, spicy honey mustard, sweet soy, sesame seeds (8 pcs) WAGYU MEMOIR DIP* - smoked shaved beef, crescenza cheese, horseradish aioli, french bread, fries or simple salad Both were really delicious. For some reason, I missed the the "dip" was a "French dip sandwich" - I thought tit was actually a dip (haha). We split the sandwich as it was huge, and then ended up ditching the bread and adding the beef to the fried rice, below. BEEF FAT FRIED RICE - egg, snow peas, carrot, scallion Service (5/5): Server was kind and efficient. Ambiance (5/5): Cool, modern and upscale vibe. We had a cool corner booth. Loved the atmosphere.

I added the flatiron steak which was really tasty! I almost ate it alone as it was packaged separately, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked medium. Not sure how many ounces there were. Appeared small but good lunch portion. Roasted Beets: 2/5 I can't say I enjoyed this combination. The yogurt had a twang to it that I felt like was throwing everything off.

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.
