The truth is this place deserves have negative stars and be shut down, I went to this pizza establishment yesterday to get some pizza and let me tell you this place is ran horribly not only do they have a dirty restaurant but they also tried to switch the price that was on the website and that was agreed upon the phone call then proceeded to switch the price to 10 dollars more than what it's worth and on top of waiting 25 minutes for the order to be ready when I got there it had been 45 minutes and out food still wasn't ready and they switched the price 6times before we finally agreed to price we had gotten over the phone but if you wanna go somewhere infested with bugs and wants to get over on tourists and over pay for mid pizza and wings fires this is the place to go waste your money your better off staying on the slot machine read more

For a quick late night dinner on the go it was great food. Had the order out fast and all well cooked. Once it gets past dark it is a little sketchy. Parked in a parking spot it said "park at your own risk". But great place to get some food. read more

If you are hungry in AC and don't want to pay $$$$ for food and it's late (they are open till 2AM?)... AC Popa has a big selection. The large Greek salad was HUGE and the greens were nice and fresh. The turkey club was substantial and tasty. Pizza was pretty good. French fries good. Big soft drink selection. Cheese steak was devoured by the kids. Even got a cheesecake slice which we never ate because we were all full!!! I'm sure it was good too. We walked there and took an uber back to eat it all in our hotel room! This place is great and affordable! Got a slice and it was ginormous! For 2.25 how could you go wrong?! Cheese steak was also yummy! I normally would not top a sandwich like this with lettuce and tomato but what the hell it worked. Sandwich was a nice size. I got the half sub and it was huge. I can only fathom in my hungriest moments the magnitude of a full sub. My friends all got the dinner entrees and loved it! It was some broccoli based pasta dish. They had plenty of leftovers and from looking at the prices it was also affordable. If you don't want to get jipped by expensive pizza places within Atlantic City's casinos, go off the beaten path a little and check this place out. AC Popa is easily in my opinion the best delivery/carry out spot in Atlantic City. Check the menu out online and give them a call. Delivery will usually be within an hour. Wings are straight fire! Cooked perfectly with the right amount of crunch paired with your choice of sauce. Hot wings are our favorite. The pizza is also way above averageand bordering on great for that thin, little bit greasy and chewy Jersey pie you want to have. Sleeper is their salads. A large chef salad legit feeds multiple people. Quality food and well ran place, plus the delivery guys are always friendly and on time. Tip them well, they deserve it! I was in Atlantic City during the week. In April, most of the restaurants in the hotels and boardwalk were closed by 900. My bf and I randomly picked Popa from the yellow pages. It delievered and prices were decent. He got veal parmesan and I got chicken picatta. It was only 11.00 for each meal, and it came with garlic bread and salad. The quantities were huge-he must have had 4 large pieces of thinly breaded veal cutlets and a huge pile of spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious. My chicken was tender and lemony. It was an unexpected and delightful find. We actually went back the next day and tried their pizza and fries. They were pretty good but not nearly as good as the pasta. If I am in the area again, I will definiltey be back! read more

Eaten here 3 times and had same thing all 3 times: Cheesesteak combo which comes with a generous portion of fries and your choice of canned soda. Cheesesteak is excellent and comes on a fresh Atlantic City Sub roll from Formica's Bakery. (Same place the White House Sub Shop uses.) The fries are outstanding and are the real highlight, cooked perfectly and taste like good fries should. I'm very pleased with the consistency of this place as each time my meal was prepared with the same care and was just as good. Haven't had a chance to try the pizza or other things on menu yet but look forward to. read more

Excellent food! The lady who took our order did get it a little wrong (we wanted sausage/cheese pizza with half pepperoni and we got extra cheese with half sausage), but the kids barely complained and ate everything on their plates. Hubby enjoyed the Philly cheese-steak and I had the spinach calzone. The marinara dipping sauce was one of the best I've had. I had to get another one to take with my leftovers (since it was so huge). There was real ricotta cheese in there. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in town. If I could zero stars, I would. We tried to get pizza delivered while we're staying here on a weekend trip and have dealt with some of the worst customer service ever. We spoke to three separate people in placing our order. When originally ordering, we apparently talked to a new phone guy who didn't understand the address we gave and didn't know that they don't deliver to it. So, after waiting nearly one and a half hours, we didn't hear back or see our pizza get delivered. The delivery guy, who was horrendously rude, called because they were given the wrong address. We call the place to figure this out and experienced even more rudeness, then finally were made aware that they don't even deliver to addresses as far as only 15 minutes away. So, all that waiting for nothing and didn't even have pizza in the end. Worst customer service ever. read more

I have been here twice and I'm coming again next year most likely. Come in and sit down as it has a down-to-earth feel. It reminds me of certain places back home and is modest and nice. Though there are only a few spots to sit it will be worth it for the food. If you get just a regular pizza expect exactly that. There are probably certain dishes that are great and vary in quality but my suggestion to you is this if you are with a friend. These guys get swamped everyday. Most of the food is good but to be honest they've completely failed to invest in themselves. Wait times exceed 2 hours since before COVID. Even walk-in's take forever. At some point you have to hire more staff. I called and said I had never been there before. I asked the lady what were the specials/popular items. Literally, she hung up on me. Luckily, I was staying in a hotel two blocks away. I went in ordered and talked about about how I was hung up on and the three ladies at the counter told me I was lying and my order would take 40 minutes. I checked out and asked the ladies to not hang up up on customers again and was called a yankee. Not that difficult to treat people the same no matter the same color, sex, background or age. I'm sure the place is busy but I just asked one question and was hung up on. Then I hobbled to the store and spoke about the situation and was still treated like an outsider. No that difficult to provide customer service and food. We ended up going here 2 late nights during my 3 night visit to AC. The food was great. We had the cheese streak, a stromboli, and wings with fries. My only complaint is that the lady in the front was a bit mean. Cheesesteaks are to die for! My boyfriend and i went to AC for a weekend, and we ended up eating at this place twice a day while we were there because their cheesesteaks were that good. This was one of the only places open past 2am for food anywhere near Resorts, so we happily jumped on it. Starting off with that in mind... clearly we weren't looking for an impeccable palate tickling meal as much as something bready, cheesy, fried, cheap, and plentiful. In these areas Popa has excelled. The pizza slices aren't amazing at all, but they're HUUGE and when you're drunk, it'll totally hit the spot. My friend got the pizza fries, which she was very pleased with.. I got an order of regular fries which were alright (once again, big portions!) The prices are also VERY reasonable - for the area as well as the amount of food you get.
