They were fried just right and the fries were hot and fresh with enough salt to make me happy. It was a Saturday evening so they were kinda busy but got everyone out smoothly. Great packaging and all. The lemonade is banging. The other wing places in Griffin to me don't compare. I hope they can keep up the good work and stay fully staffed. The wings tasted like they had not changed the oil in quite some time. They were a bit over cooked too. The okra was ok, but not fresh. My wife's chicken strips were dry and over cooked and the fries were cold, as if they had sat out for a while. We were disappointed in the food. I wish we would have read the reviews that were only one star. We sincerely hope they take these notes to heart and make the changes to improve. We also hope they become 'The Best Wings on earth'. I'm sure these are good folks. For now, I can't recommend them. Maybe they'll see this review as an opportunity to 'Step up.' I hope they let us know when they do. So when I walked in and found out they did not have ribs, I almost needed a moment of silence. WHAT?! Yes, you read that right. A BBQ place with no ribs. According to the cashier, Steve's didn't have ribs that day. I let it slide because, at the time, they had only been open for a couple of weeks. I believe in giving new businesses grace, especially when they are still getting their rhythm together. They did have a nice little crowd seated inside, which was good to see. I wanted to support them. However, while the doors were open, the place did not feel fully ready from an ambiance standpoint. There was junk behind what looked like the soon to be bar area. Boxes and clutter were visible, and honestly, that takes away from the experience. It is hard to focus on the food when your eyes are trying to figure out if you are in a restaurant or the back room at a storage unit. They did have booths available for customers to sit and enjoy their food, so that was a plus. Since there were no ribs, I ordered a steak hoagie sandwich and asked for extra cheese.
