Food is good! I'm just upset they forget the sauce every time, seriously, every time.

Omg the customer service is horrible! Look I understand it's new, it's busy but there is no excuse for the way my friend was treated while here. She goes thru the drive thru entrance with the enter sign, and it's busy so there is a worker directing traffic and he starts yelling at her and swearing at her saying she went the wrong fu...ing way and yelling to move to the other side. Not necessary but ok. So she's goes thru the drive through and orders her food and gets to the window and the ladies working start mocking her. Literally coping what she is saying in a different voice then laughing about it in her face. Mocking her. What the actual hell! The customer service is so horrible and so rude it ruins the whole experience of going there. Yea the food is obviously delicious but I have such a hard time even wanting to support that restaurant when they have employees like this! Something needs to be done about this. read more

Blackened chicken and biscuits were my fav. Everything else was okay. I believe their chicken sandwiches are #1 but they have been sold out every time. Staff are funny and nice. Great sense of humor. Check order before leaving. Make sure u have everything. read more

As of right now it's 3 stars. I didn't mind the wait because you know I get it they are a new restaurant it going to be pretty crazy for a while HOWEVER when I get to place my order the girl that took it was EXTREMELY RUDE! I was fine until that happened no matter how slow I gave my order I just got rude responses, the screen for the menus are terrible they always switch so when I was asked about sides she scoffed and listed them SO FAST I couldn't even understand that's and the scoffing is really what ticked me off, and she also did the same with the sauces it's not my fault they came up with a ridiculous idea for the menu in the drive thru If she didn't want to act liked she cared about customers she shouldn't be working customer service at all. Now the food I would give 4 stars the spicy chicken sandwich has always been my favorite and it gets better every time they have it. Newly opened almost a week ago- we waited in the drive thru line 40 minutes- it was totally worth it! Very delicious crispy/crunchy chicken . It is our new "go to" for chicken - much better than KFC read more

Are employees allowed to eat in the kitchen while preparing orders. Waiting for a delivery order and saw an employee eating and going straight to the food he's preparing. No gloves, no nothing just going straight from mouth to food. Service was fine, women up front is quick to acknowledge customers and try her best in getting food out. The man who seems like the managers is also doing best to get food out, but employees in kitchen don't seem to have the same amount of enthusiasm or respect for their job. read more

The food is very good but the location is a nightmare. Right now they are only doing drive through and it's backed up around the block. There isn't anyone to control traffic and people can butt in line almost causing fights. read more

Spent 36 minutes wait to give my order (there was no one in front of me) and then the 4 minutes to wait for my nuggets turned into a 25 minute wait because they forgot about me again there was no one behind me for the first 15 minutes. Very disappointed! read more

First time going there. They rushed me through ordering, but were very polite. The food tasted good, but was very dry. The level of seasoning and spices were very underwhelming and misleading. Their lemonade tastes like the real thing, but could be a little sweeter. read more

UPDATE: after visiting here, I ended up getting sick, to the point where I was stuck in the bathroom most of the night, I ended up calling into work it got so bad. I got chicken strips and mashed potatoes, I'm not sure if the chicken was improperly cooked or what...but I definitely paid for it later. read more

Stopped by on 7/10- simple order placed. The total charge:$10.62, I gave the staff member 20.00 and she gave me 46 cents in return. I questioned her failure to compute simple math and she indicated it had to be reviewed,please pull up in the parking area. Tried it for the first time and extremely disappointed in the response i received when calling to complain that my drive thru order did not contain the dipping sauces i ordered, nor did they provide straws or napkins. I was told those things are free and although she was sorry they were missed, there was nothing she could do about it. In my opinion the dipping sauce is important when determining if you like the chicken strips and free or not, it is part of the meal. read more

This review is for Popeyes in Appleton, WI. I placed an order for our family, 3 chicken meals and we were charged for 3, but only 2 were delivered (this is during COVID). I called and spoke to the Supervisor who told me they are not responsible for the missing food and that I would need to drive to their restaurant and pick it up. She did not offer to refund my missing food. My husband and I were very surprised and unsatisfied with this response. The woman was rude to me about the issue and was not willing to accept responsibility, it was really strange. The food that we did receive was cold and not fresh, like it sat for quite some time before being delivered. Disappointing, my family will not purchase from this location again. read more

I love their food but the service? Not so much. We've been through the drive thru 4x and each time they missed something in our order. Also by the time we get our food it's cold. Chick-fil-A knows how to get people through the drive thru. I wish Popeyes would follow their example or we may just go to Chick-fil-A instead. read more

The service was amazing. As soon as we walked in we had the perfect time to make our decisions and order. The person who was there was amazing I never caught his name but he had sea shells in his hair and worked monday night at 6:45pm. He danced along with me and it was really fun. Visited Popeyes on Appleton in Milwaukee on 4/12/21 around 6:45. We paid at the deive thru and they asked ua to pull to the side ans wait with 5 other cars that was waiting. 20 mons later all the cara got their food even the one that was behind us. We approached the drive thru again and ask about our orders and they told us it was goningbto be another 10 mins..keep in mind there's over a dozen car that drove off cause they couldn't order. Still waiting and people after us got all their orders and we're still sitting. Its reaching 40 mins waiting and we have not gotten our food and they locked the doors. Very unsatisfy and customer service is not good. No explanation and we can't even get our money back. read more

Yay!! This west coast transplant is SO happy to have delicious Popeyes chicken again! I went the first Saturday after it opened, and yes - the wait was long, and yes - it smelled amazing! And YES the food was worth the wait! Light and crispy chicken tenders, spicy but not too hot, delicious batter-dipped fries, savory beans and rice, and apple pies rolled in cinnamon sugar... and the best fricking biscuits EVER. And the sweeeet tea was delicious. I'll be back, over and over. read more

Do not eat here. I ordered ahead using the mobile app and ended up waiting for 45 minutes outside of the store because only 2 people are allowed inside of the store at a time (which is NOT part of the mandate in Wisconsin). Once I finally got inside, my order was completely wrong so I had to ask for it to be remade which took another 15 minutes. When I finally got back to my car, I realized I was missing 2 sandwiches from my order but didn't want to wait another 45 min in line to get them. Safe to say I will not be back. This place has serious service issues. On one side of the lobby are people waiting to order. On the other side of the lobby are people waiting for their food. I placed my order and moved into my appropriate spot. 55 minutes later I had my chicken sandwich, cole slaw and mac and cheese. Near as I can tell, the person assembling the food serves people in the order taken. That means if they are out of strips (at one point I heard her say we're down 70 strips), everyone else waits, and waits and waits. What she should do is assemble the orders she can and only make those with special orders/things you're out of wait. A terrible, terrible "fast" food experience. Also, the chicken sandwich is nothing special. Honestly the $1 one at McDonald's has more flavor. A super disappointing experience. I will not be back. read more

First off,the food was delicious as usual,but the customer service gets a D. We went in right as they opened. The cashier was still counting the til and told us it would be a few minutes until she could take our order. She wrote our order on a piece of paper and rang it up at the drive thru til. The pop machine had no ice and the pop was warm. We told them about the ice and asked for a cup of ice (for 3 of us) and she gave us a half of a cup total. No apology for being out,no mention of looking into it. The employee(s) had their personal belongings sitting out in the seating area,blocking a whole section. The other side had cleaning supplies out on the table and supplies on the floor underneath. The air conditioning wasn't on and the humidity was bothersome. One of the male employees was out twice, smoking right next to the entrance. The drive thru was doing well, but it seems they forgot how to treat customers INSIDE the restaurant. We went in a week after they 1st opened and got great service. Today,not so much read more

The only reason I gave this review two stars instead of one is that the food was good. Otherwise the experience was lousy. Went into the restaurant cause I was from out of town. The guy started by asking if my order was "for here or to go." I told him "for here." After we got that done and he took my order it took him a while to remember to give me my drink cup. Then when I got my food they had it wrapped up in a "to go" box. Oh well, I figured I could live with that. Except not only did they not give me a fork or any napkins, there were NONE to be found in the restaurant. I know they're being cautious with Covid and all but can't they at least have SOME things out?! Then I went to the restroom to wash my hands because there were no napkins and guess what - no soap in the dispenser. I know places are having trouble finding workers right now but come on. Next time in town I'll be going somewhere else for lunch. read more

Ok tried this place three times and it has gotten worse each time as far as their ability to keep it clean or get you food in a decent amount of time. This last time it took 45 min to get food, thank goodness for the time stamp on the reciept. The manager was attempting ot get the employees to up their pace but it seemed futile. You can see all of them as the kitchen is wide open. They had a young man who was supposed to be keeping the sesting area clen and the fountain drink machine operating. Or so i gathered from what the mabager was telling him. He did neither and kind of just stood around then went on break to eat with fountain drink machine out of syrup and the place filthy. It just really appeared that the operation does not function effeciantly and many of the employees just didnt really care about the wait as they stood around with tons of people waiting. I dont think i will go in again unless there is absolutley no one there. read more
