Employees seem to have virtually no common etiquette (saying any kind of greeting, saying thank you or you're welcome) no one seemed to be happy at all. The drive thru window is disgusting, I got some liquid all over the bottom of the bag and when asked for something to clean it with or another option, they first looked at me like I was being dramatic. Since I eat breakfast either very early, or it's on the light side, it's nice to find a place that serve lunch at 10 in the morning. It's been months since I've had Popeyes. And, it's been ages since I've eaten in, as I usually get chicken to go. Today, I had a two piece spicy combo with drumstick and thigh, mac and cheese, a biscuit and a small soda. Everything tasted really good. The chicken was piping hot, have the skin crispy and crunchy. The mac and cheese remain hot to the very last bite. And even the biscuit was still warm on the very last bite. The staff was courteous, though the cashier did have a problem with the register, and it interferred with her taking my order. So, I had to repeat myself to her. Now, whether she was ticked off at the register, or what, I don't know. But, her attitude did come across as a bit cold. While she did repeat my order, it was said without feeling. And, instead of saying, "Would you like anything else"? Sheonly said, "Anything else"? This is a convenient location and have noticed the decline of service over the past few months. Most issues could be taken in stride. Last night was different however. It wasn't one of those, "Welcome to Popeyes" generic greetings either. It was strong eye contact, and a welcoming vibe into their shop! It was much appreciated. For food, I had a coupon for a free 2 piece meal with purchase of a 3 piece meal. My wife always gets their spicy strips so I ordered a 5 piece for her. All together we got 2 breasts, 3 wings, 5 strips, 3 mashed potatoes, 3 biscuits and a drink for around $15.00. It was a ton of food! The food was good as usual. Popeyes makes the best fried chicken (of all the fast food chicken places) and their sides and biscuits are always great, too! I'm sure we will be back sooner than later. read more

Extremely slow service today at 1pm. There were five people working, two were assembling sandwiches and other things, One was handing orders out to those in the drive thru and ones that ordered online for pickup, the other two weren't really doing anything. The gentleman in front of me and I waited a half hour before just ordering. The man taking orders put the gentleman's food in a bag before taking my order. He quickly grabbed my spicy sandwich and put in in a bag right after giving me my change. Though the service at first was terrible, the taste of the spicy sandwich engulfed my whole mouth and turned my whole day around. I ate my sandwich too fast to take a picture of it in all its glory. Probably my worst experience at a popeyes. Sat in a drive through with maybe 3-4 cars in front and tooo close to 45 min to get through the unbelievably slow line. Got to the window finally and was told the apple pies I had ordered were gonna be another 6 min. This was impossible at this point considering I was on my lunch break.
