Ordered online through Uber Eats. Ordered 3 different shrimp and chicken dishes online with 4 biscuits and 5 sauces. Order arrived with no sauces (which are supposed to come with each order, anyway, but I ordered an extra sauce cup) and I got only 2 biscuits. One biscuit should have come with each of the three things I ordered and I ordered 1 extra. I Called the store (looks like store #8678 on the receipt) and let them know what I did not receive. I also let them know I'm disabled, which was why I ordered online. I was told they wouldn't do anything unless I came in with the receipt. Like that would prove I didn't get something. They were too lazy to look up the order number, which I provided from the receipt, and which still would not prove I didn't get something, anyway. I asked the so-called "manager" a question. "Why would I just pick up the phone, call, wait to speak to you, just so I could lie about 5 sauces and 2 biscuits?" She had no answer. I told her that I would never order anything from any Popeyes ever again as long as I live and I would make sure to tell other disabled people never to do so, either. Worst customer service I have experienced in online ordering. Also, the package was delivered wide open. Completely unsecured, so anyone could take whatever they wanted out of it. My family loves Popeyes. I had gone to a different Popeyes location and had a horrible customer service experience. This time I chose to go to the Naperville location and was pleasantly surprised with the amazing service. The person taking my order was patient and helpful. The food was nice and hot and they were extremely fast! I will no longer go to any other location. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not go to this location unless you want your order to be wrong. On several occasions, my orders were incorrect. Unfortunately, some of the staff were not the best at rectifying the issue, but were rather rude. One incident for instance, I ordered chicken and fries, but when I checked my order, they gave me chicken and rice instead. Another incident: I ordered 12 pieces of chicken and found out a few days later that they charged my card for a 12 piece meal. Tonight, I ordered 12 pieces of spicy chicken, but when I got home, I found out that they had given me all regular. I can see why this store has two stars. It deserves zero stars. We ordered Uber eats tonight. They sent the driver with half the food missing. Then they didn't answer the phone after multiple rings. Then when they finally answered it was a crap show. They couldn't find my order via number or name after multiple tries. They kept jerking me around when I asked to speak to a manager. The so called "manager" who showed up had the gall to say she could do nothing and I should call customer support for Uber. The entire first 3/4 of the call the young man kept asking someone questions in Spanish and then telling me what his "manager" told him to tell me but couldn't put the manager on the phone. And when a "manager" finally appeared it was a woman. This store is consistently terrible with service and giving you the wrong things. This is the straw for me. I went to this location the other day to give them another chance after they recently handed me a bag of food that wasn't mine on my last visit. I arrive at the drive-thru and there is no sound. I waited 3 minutes and nothing. I drove to the pick up window and knocked on the glass. A short Mexican guy comes to the window, opens it and yells in a rude tone.. "GIVE ME 5 MINUTES". This is a true story it happened today, if anyone has the owners number, I need to call them. I drove up to order 2 types of wings, went to the window paid the young man took my card and asked if I spoke Spanish. I understood it so I said yes. He asked if I could wait by the entrance. I waited 5 minutes than 10 minutes and went to 15, I decided to go inside. The women at the corner turned to me I asked how long for my order, she said a few more minutes. As I waited 5 minutes than 10 minutes I noticed the cook not wearing gloves and on his phone pressing the digits as he handled food. I asked the lady if she was the Manger she said yes, I told her that her employee was wearing no gloves and handling food playing on his food I told her that's a health code violation. I know about this I was in the food industry. I asked her to cancel my order I asked her name she said Connie. We wanted wings so we went down the road to Bufflo wild wings, as we waited guess who entered. Yes Connie the manager of popeyes. I guess she didn't want to eat her contaminated wings. I like Popeyes food, but this restaurant has very bad quality control. You must check your bag each and every time to verify that all your food is there. I've had too many experiences where I get home and my order isn't complete. I'm guessing there is either an issue with their ordering system, their displays, or they don't like counting to five. When I order five menu items, they always give me four. EVERY TIME!! Oh well, it's my fault I guess. $27 for fast food chicken doesn't pay for their employees to count to five. I'm a huge fan of the Popeye's brand. I'm a comedian and I've even done material about how hard it is to resist the deliciousness of their fried chicken. I however cannot endorse this particular location. On more than one occasion I have experienced incredibly poor service and most recently I was sold what could only be described as old chicken. You've had leftovers before, you know the taste and the chicken we purchased on Sunday was at least a day old and disgusting. I live less than a mile from this Popeyes and I drive to Bolingbrook (9 miles away) to avoid going to this location. Alright, this a MUST TO AVOID Popeye's location in Naperville. Here are my reasons; We ordered THREE (3) of those "new" chicken sandwiches and fries. When we got home, which probably is 7 minutes away, we discovered we only received TWO sandwiches and TWO boxes of fries. We tried to call the establishment to let them know we were coming back for the rest of our order. NO ONE picked up the phone after we were calling for 5 minutes! So we drove back over, and to our surprise, there were three other customers in line complaining about the same thing we were. An incorrect order. One couple demanded their money back, even tho the clerk gave them a hard time. The couple won out and were given a refund. Wait this gets better, they were NOT given a receipt, because they could NOT find the receipt paper! Eventually was our turn. The clerk grabbed a sandwich from under a heat lamp and fries from under a heat lamp. We said no, we wanted THREE fresh chicken sandwiches and THREE fresh boxes of fries to replace our order. Now to let you know here, we specifically stated we did not want the spicy chicken the first time we ordered. We wanted our order replaced with what we ordered. Well, after some time we waited, we received our chicken and fries. The chicken package had a S. Figuring it meant spicy we asked. They said it was spicy chicken. we said we had ordered regular chicken sandwich. We were told they did NOT have regular chicken! Not wanting to deal with the problems the other couple was having about receiving a refund receipt, we decided to go. By the way when we left the couple was still demanding proof via a receipt for their refund. When we got home with our chicken sandwich, IT was extremely spicy and COLD in the middle. We threw them away. The fries, oh my word, they were soggy like they been sitting in water. They too ended up in the trash. As were waiting, we noticed the kitchen area. Appeared to be filthy and you could see trash all around. I am thinking about calling the Naperville Health Department to check this place out. However; from what we saw with the other three customers and our experience tonight with this establishment, I Highly Advise NOT to go to this location in Naperville. I am a regular visitor of Popeye franchises. My experiences in a few locations I visit have been pleasant and I will continue to frequent those locations. However, this location on Clarence in Naperville off Route 59 is no longer one I will visit. Today's experience is the third bad experience I have had and I just have to write about it. Quite often I visited this location almost close to closing time. Let's just say within 15 minutes. This is now the 3rd time that I did not get what I wanted or ordered. It seems the staff is more interested in leaving the store at the closing time rather than helping customers up until the closing time. Each time I have come before closing they refuse to cook fresh chicken. You get leftovers that sat in the heat lamp. The chicken is crunchy instead of crispy. Today, I ordered a 2 piece combo through the drive thru. As I drove away I thought I better check my meal. Sure enough I see crunchy chicken and no biscuit! I enter the restaurant with the bag in my hand to inform the worker that I was missing a biscuit. He said "yea, I know. We don't have any more biscuits, I credited you .80 cents". I thought but did not say it that it would have been courteous to at least tell me you were out of biscuits. To be honest had I'd known the meal would be incomplete and crunchy I would have ate elsewhere. Now what happens next was unbelievable. After telling me what he said he darted to the front door saying "what the heck is wrong with this door, it should be locked". Then proceeded to slam the door and fiddle with the lock with me standing still inside. Meanwhile I looked behind the counter and there was absolutely no chicken or biscuits to be seen. Looking at the attitude coming from the worker I just left rather than get into a confrontation. There was nothing he could offer. I thought the store closed at 9pm and it was 10min until. Do not advertise you are open until 9pm and then do not have the food to serve up until that time or the willingness to serve a fresh meal. Now I am a businessman. I understand you don't want to cook food close to closing if you can't sell it. However, this is the fast food industry where food cooks in less than 10 mins. The proper thing to do was to offer freshly cooked meals and explain there may be a short wait. Then close the doors at 9pm and start your closing procedures after the last customer is served. This location should be shut down based on the reviews here. I can't imagine how many more bad experiences there would be if people actually took the time to write. read more
