Well this wasn't the first time we've received poor service and shorted items in our order but it will most definitely be the last time. We went there quite often and usually spent a significant amount. This time our order was missing a few things. I called when I got home and told them about the missing items. They said come back and we'll give you the nuggets plus a sandwich for your inconvenience. We live 45 minutes away. We showed up to get our food and we're told that they never said that. Really?!? I showed them my receipt for more than $40. The skeptical looks and smears from the grubby little people behind the counter wa the last straw. They tossed us some cold rubbery nuggets (which were probably the actual nuggets from last night) and rolled their eyes. We fed them to our dogs when we returned home. It will be KFC from here on out. Culver's also has some awesome chicken strips! Also, their dining room is not open so if you get your food and realize they've shorted you something, you have to drive around get back in line and wait for another 20 minutes while the rest of your food gets colder. I paid for a fried turkey 5 days before Thanksgiving. I told them I would pick it up the day before. When I arrived to pick it up, they had sold it. They didn't offer my anything for my trouble. Not even a free drink. I had to scramble to find a turkey the evening before Thanksgiving. I left my number twice for the manager to call me, but they were too cowardly. This place is took 45 mins to get my door dash order after they had given it to another dasher and refused to remake it until I called door dash and had them call the store to verify it had not been picked up by the correct dasher. I love Popeye's original sandwiches, but today I had a taste for a fried chicken combo. I checked out the Popeye's menu online, and decided on the $6 box. I used the drive-thru at the Lone Oak Rd location, and was informed they no longer have the $6 box. I ordered a 2-pc combo (they didn't ask, but gave me dark meat) with two sides and a small drink. Ok, I love Popeyes. I don't know if they were having a bad day or what. No ice in the ice machine. Had to take our cups to the counter to have them filled with ice. The spicy chicken was not spicy. The place was filthy. Food on the floors and hard to find a table wiped down. It was a Sunday afternoon and they weren't busy. I will never go back to Popeyes again. Loved this place for its food and gave them the benefit of the doubt the first 2 times they forgot my dipping sauce. Then the third time I ordered extra ( was charged for extra as well) and got 0 dipping sauces. I went to this location on Dec 29, 2017 and ordered the 16 piece dinner. I wanted three spicy pieces and the rest mild. When I got home 15 miles later, I found that all were spicy. I Immediately called and Morgan said they would replace the order if I came back within two weeks. Great! Morgan said I was in the book and would not need the receipt. I went back 10 days later and found that I was not in the book and needed the receipt. Morgan was not there. I guess it was all bs. Don't even think about going here.
