On a Wed night, place is packed, but I found one of two empty spots at the bar. The food was decent, on a high protein/low carb diet this is a solid choice. The shrimp was overcooked and overseasoned, but edible. The filet was ordered medium, arrived as med-rare: more rare than med. Came in yesterday got a ribeye. Half the steak was fat and over cooked. You would expect some fat on a ribeye. But half was the steak was unable to be eaten. I called and the manager and she offered to fix and replace the steak. Today went to get the fixed steak, even tried a different cut of meat. Ordered the steak medium rare and received it medium well almost well done. Called back again to inform the manager and she said nothing she can do. So you mess my food up on two separate occasions and act like there's not a problem. Will not return here. I will also advice family and friends to not here as well since there customer comes after that pockets are full. If I pay for something I expect it to be the way I pay for it to be. As you can see by previous reviews they do not even read the reviews. Most show inconsistent cooking of steaks. There big selling point. read more

Absolutely abhorrent! We've had issues with this restaurant in the past both because of the food and the service. We ordered our food online at 4pm for pickup at 5:45pm but when my husband got there to pick up our order it wasn't ready and it continued to not be ready for over an hour! When they finally gave him our food and he brought it home my 16oz ribeye looked more like a 12oz New York strip, and the food was cold! It all looked so unappetizing I won't eat it! We were ripped off and whoever they got "cooking" in that kitchen needs to find a different profession asap! read more

This is a good place to go if you like your steak cooked well done. I usually order mine rare or medium rare since most restaurants tend to overcook, but I've tried multiple times here and it always comes out well done. It's disappointing, especially for a steakhouse -- I expected better cooking and seasoning. That said, the service is good and the staff are friendly. We're on the road & needed a hearty meal since we skipped lunch ... this was perfect - although they were busy, we were seated right away, served immediately & the food was great! The tables were turned quickly ... restroom was clean & our food was perfectly prepared. For us the dill pickle chip appetizer was a bit salty but that's all or just us. First I want to say I have always had good experience at any Texas Roadhouse On 10/28/2925 my family had dinner at the Paducah, KY as we do once a month I got the Country Fried Steak Dinner which was not good this was beyond Poor Quality of food I have never been served a steak grilled or a chicken fried steak with so much Hard un chewable meat that had to be spit out which was a disgusting disappointment and shock be cause of where I was at! I asked the Manager if this was normal? he said yes it's is it is a very poor quality of meat so it's the luck of the draw for a customer which is sad that a national steak house chain would have that attitude towards the food they serve! They need to write that on the menu to warn customers before ordering! It's my new favorite restaurant in Paducah. I came in fifteen minutes before closing on a school night. Ordered an app and an entree and a bottle of pinot. I didn't enjoy the food because of I'm seventy and my false teeth are making my gums sore. I've been driving all day and had to stop because my freaking eyes wouldn't transition to nighttime. This review is specifically for this location and the management of it! After a very hot day on our Motorcycle from middle KS to Paducha we wanted a good dinner so TR it was! I ordered a Med Rare Ribeye. It came out well over cooked! At one time or another other everyone has had this experience! Our server quickly took it back and had a new o e cooked as it should have been. Excellent this time but how do u usually feel when ur dinner gets ruined this way and everyone else is eating while u wait!!!! Pisses me off! Ok, that was taken care of and now for round two! The server brought us our ticket and laid it down saying how we could pay !!!! WTF he didn't ask if we were done or if we wanted desert which we did and I said not so fast we aren't done. We want to know about the deserts can u explain what u have in detail!!! Their idea of strawberry cheesecake is plain cheese cake w cheap strawberry syrup drizzled on it!!! wtf! No strawberries at all!! Ok so they had an apple dessert w a name that would imply it's not ur ordinary apple pie BUT that's all it was w icecream! Had to pull the icecream part out of him as he was wasn't going to divulge that tidbit of information at all! lol! The brownie he said was no good at all!!! So that leaves the questionable apple pie w icecream!!! Ok I'll take that!! He disappeared and came right back to inform me that had no icecream and would I like it just like that!!!!! Again, WTF! No offer of a discount for the lack of icecream or anything! Needless to say I said no! So now after all this BS u would expect a manager to drop by right? They do at our local TR! Not this one!!! Crickets!!! No offer of any discount for the fu@"& up steak or lack of complete deserts or anything, no manager showed up at all!!! Let's see if I get a response after this review by TR management!!! A huge disappointment! There were so many things that should have been better. We had a party of 6, and the waitress first put us at a booth for 4. That wasn't going to work! Then took us to a table that was very cramped up. Very uncomfortable. And , Despite asking our waitress, our table never got salt and pepper. There was nothing at the table to sweeten my tea with. We never got one drink refill. I had a mouthful of food I couldn't swallow, and my drink was totally empty. I remembered I had a toddler bottle of juice in my purse that had one swallow left in it. I was so glad. My steak knife was disgustingly filthy. I set it aside on a nearby empty table. It stayed there the entire time a couple was later seated at that table and ate their meal. Wait staff never removed it. We had to ask for napkins. One person had no silverware. The music was so loud we could not talk to each other. My friend's green beans were inedible, and she eats ANYthing! lol. My buttered corn was awful, I couldn't eat it either. There may be more, but that's all I remember now, 6 hours later. On the plus side, my smothered chicken was great. However, I vowed to myself today to never return to Texas Roadhouse! read more

This place was a joke tonight. First wait list was a 15 minute wait and turned out 40. Had to see what the problem was and they said they put us on hold. Seated with no bread and no silverware. The restaurant was very busy so we ate at the bar. We have done this many times before at other establishments and always been satisfied. Tonight we had absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered in my entire life. The bartender was rude and to busy for us from the get go. We had to ask her for everything including the bill which she never came back to run the credit card. We finally asked for a manager who did help us promptly. Never ever have I not left a tip until today. In fact, we usually over tip. We are not rude people. I worked in the service industry for 13 years!! This bartender needs to find another job. It was nice to sit down and eat without getting take out. Stopped in for a quick lunch while working. I had the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad. They are probably the most consistent for a chain on salads. Maybe a little too much butter on top of the rolls, pretty oily, but still good. Sorry but tonight was the most disappointing meal I've ever had here. 16 oz ribeye was so thin (maybe 1/2 inch thick) there wasn't any way to not overcook when ordered medium rare. Try making the steak less diameter but thicker and u might be able to cook to order..the other 3 steaks (not ribeyes) at our table were thicker and cooked properly . Throw in the crinkle cut fries in lieu of the actual steak fries I ordered (I asked server what happened to real steak fries but no explanation and nothing offered to offset substitution). Had I known I would have ordered a baked potato. It felt like they ran over to wal mart for my meal. I used to love TR and I'm the one who picked TR for our group but my meal left too much to be desired for me to recommend TR again. They were out of cocktail sauce for seafood and 2 or 3 steak sauces as well. I didn't make a stink about things because I didn't want to embarrass my group or the server, but I can't imagine returning there anytime soon. read more

We came to the restaurant wanting a good meal. We are pretty easy going, but our experience with the girl at the hostess stand and the manager was unpleasant. We were told it would be 25 minutes and to give them our phone number. We did and the girl asked us to wait outside. The girl beside her said all of the benches inside were currently empty and we could have a seat, which we did. About 5 minutes later the manager comes and chews us out stating that we had to wait outside. 3 of the 4 benches were still unoccupied. Her tone was very condescending and she was quite loud. We walked outside and discussed the "situation" and decided she was way out of line and had no reason to treat us this way. On a snowy night, my wife and I came in to use a gift card. We needed a few moments out of the house, though, so we hung out at the bar while waiting for our food. Speaking of the bar, they had all of the basics on tap, but I also saw West 6th & Sam Adams. This place has a typical "roadhouse" feel. Lots of wood, lots of peanuts, lots of good-ole-country-boy vibe. Our service was good and it wasn't too loud. My wife got chicken, I had steak. The chicken with mushrooms, etc. was pretty good. Her steamed veggies were fine, nothing special. My steak was more cooked than I expected. I ordered it medium, but there was no pink at all. I could've done just as well on my own grill with a $4 piece of meat from the grocery. My sides were mashed potatoes (kind of bland) and chili (quite good!) They have these yeast rolls that are outstanding, plus they are very generous with butter, cinnamon butter, etc. They packed a perfect to-go bag. I also have to give this place props (travelers may not care) because I happen to know they are awesome community members and are hugely supportive of local schools/teams/organizations. Maybe it shouldn't be, but to me, that's worth a 4th star! read more
