Went through the Drive-Thru and ordered a ghost pepper chicken sandwich with fries with mango iced tea. OMG. Best sandwich fries combo I have had in a while. They say if you get me once, shame on you. If you get me twice, shame on me. So what do they say when you have been gotten three times? This place is consistently the absolute worst Popeyes I have ever been to. I know, I know, but who does not love good Popeyes fried chicken when it is close to the house? Unfortunately, the only thing the Park location is consistent with is poor food quality and poor service. Even the ambiance of pulling into the parking lot is a disaster. I crack my back just driving through that lot like I am in a Jeep going through an obstacle course. There are either a ton of potholes or they are filled in so poorly that the whole lot is uneven. As I said, this place is consistently bad with both food and service. The service comes with an attitude that is grimy for no reason. They are also always out of something, whether it is sauce, food, napkins, or utensils. It feels like the management here is severely lacking. I asked for hot sauce on the side and the manager said, I will give you one because we usually charge for it. I had not gotten any sauce at all for my wings. On my first two visits they forgot things as well. First time they forgot part of my food. Second time they forgot all my napkins and utensils. It is really not that complicated. Food wise, the tenders were overdone and dry, and one of them was tiny. The chicken sandwich was small and dry too. The fries were room temperature and stuck together in clumps. Just look at my photos. Not even cooked right, and the oil tasted old. I need to stop abusing myself by coming to this location. I have been to plenty of Popeyes spots up and down the east coast between FL and NY, and this is by far the worst. They need a serious overhaul in service, cooking, and training. i have been to my local Popeyes hundreds of times over the years. Most of the time my experience went well, but sometimes it varies. Yesterday it was horrible. i ordered the $6 big box.My chicken strips were barely fully done. i was told they were out of red beans and rice, which is my fav side, and my plan was to get 2. so i got the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese instead. disappointing choices. i got a 1/2 cup of mashed and had to pay an extra .50 cents for that but the mac and cheese was just one hard disgusting ball.Inedible.Even after heating in my oven, it was still a solid ball. had to throw it out. Be prepared for a long wait in line. There were only 2 people ahead of me, but the employees here are in no hurry to serve customers. Waited for 20 minutes before they were ready to take my order! I stopped here for the boneless chicken wings. If you get just the wings they end up costing $1 each which isn't a bad deal. I got a dozen for $11.99, $12 and some change with tax. They were very filling and nicely done. I didn't choose any sauce cause I have my own hot sauces at home. Shout out to the crew at Popeyes on Park Blvd! I always go out of my way to get lunch at this establishment. There are closer Popeyes near me, but I am willing to travel for perfectly hot and crispy food. The window attendant this afternoon was very friendly and efficient. I had to wait a minute for fries, but that doesn't bother me at all! When the result is freshly cooked food, it's worth waiting for! I have eaten here several times over the last few months while passing through Chiefland. The food is always great, though sometimes they forget to include utensils and napkins. HOWEVER, today I ordered two 2-piece meals. One spicy dark meat with fries...the thigh was so small it looked more like a wing, and One original white meat with coleslaw and mustard sauce, which they charge you for. I did a mobile order for pickup. I went through the drive through, and the man working subbed my grilled tenders for regular, and my fries for mac and cheese without first notifying me. Came here on a Wednesday and had a free chicken sandwich and 2 pieces of chicken through t-mobile. The drive thru line appeared long so i mobile ordered and went inside to pick up. Upon entering, the line for service was long (at least 8 people) and the interior was truthfully filthy. There were napkins, uncooked fries, and even a piece of chicken on the floor in the back. Employees also seemed to have no care about restaurant appearance either. I saw some in the back with no mask on eating and employees handle money, pick up food, and grab new food with the same glove. I waited over 25 minutes inside the restaurant for a sandwich and 2 pieces of chicken. I understand some delay but 25 minutes! Many other customers seemed fed up and the drive thru line didn't seem any faster. I asked for spicy on all my chicken, but i saw the employee grab mild pieces of chicken instead, right in front of me. The food itself was not good, the chicken was very dry and heavy (despite asking for light meat) and the sandwich seemed poorly assembled. Sandwich also had little flavor. Also the sauce portion is nothing close to what i believe you need for the food portion. Even though it was free, i was still extremely disappointed by the atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and taste. I just sent this to Popeyes about this location. Waiting on a reply from them. Be Warned--AVOID THIS STORE!!! I am writing to you about a visit to your store located at 5950 Park Blvd N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 on 2/25/24. To say that it was a less than stellar visit would be an understatement. I arrived at the store at about 730pm that evening. I had gone on your app and had a mobile offer to "Redeem in Restaurant '' for $24.99 10 Pc Family Meal. I had it on my phone to show the person taking the order. Walking in, it was clear that there was an absolute lack of professionalism or care. A few employees, yet no one taking care of the people in the lobby. Finally after a few minutes, a young gentleman walked up to me (he didn't say a word) and just looked at me. I said hello and told him that I had the digital offer. He didn't know how to deal with it, so he went over to the person running the drive thru and told him the code (or so I thought) and then yelled over to me asking if I wanted spicy or mild and what sides I wanted. I also said that I wanted 2 small drinks. And then we just stood there again. Waiting. No one talking to us--nothing. Finally the young gentleman comes over and tells me that it is $43 something. I told him, no that cannot be right. My deal was for $24.99 and certainly 2 small drinks didn't account for the price being so great. He walked back over to the drive thru window and then walked back about half way and said, "Yeah-that's yours." I tried to get him to look at the digital coupon, and the attitude was that they (and I do mean all of them) just did not care. I was extremely disappointed and my husband and I left the store. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have encountered issues at this location. At one time you had a really super manager there and things ran great. I am not sure what happened, but one day she was gone and you could tell no one was performing at the same level. Then she came back and things were good again. Now she is gone again, and my last few visits have not been good. And this last time was the straw that broke the camel's back. I will not be visiting this location ever again. Your team there does not know the meaning of customer service. They clearly don't care. I am not going to spend my money in an establishment where I am taken for granted and staff cannot even care enough to honor the digital coupons your company makes available online. So yes, I will no longer go to this Popeye's. I know that there are other locations around me, and I may try one of those, but right now I have such a bad taste in my mouth about Popeye's I cannot say that will happen anytime soon. I will tell you that the nearest Bojangles is about an hour and half from where I live. I'd rather drive that far to get fried chicken--that's how bad the service was at your location. I do love fried chicken and I don't eat it often. The weekend has been a basic cheat weekend for me. Wings, fries, and fried chicken. Hey, at least this food is going to be burned off with all my hard work at the gym! Turning those fries into a phat booty. Lol. So the chicken I chose was the Mild and got Mac n cheese as a side in my 2 piece combo. I got the biggest breast and a nice leg. My husband was picking meat from my breast because, well it was bigger than his. Haha. I loved the flavor of the crispy batter outside and the chicken was moist! So damn good! The biscuit was very dense and very buttery and salt for me. Mac and cheese looked pleasing but for me it was just too buttery and salty. As someone who has cut a lot of salt from her meals my body was like, "what are you doing to me?!" I did enjoy the chicken all the way to the bone! Even my pups enjoyed the meat. This review is solely related to the service and professionalism. Two of the last three times that we've been here the service has been really really slow. Not sure if they actually realize it, but they weren't really apologetic about it. One out of the three times that we've been here, they didn't open even at 10:50am in the morning even it their website says that they are open at 10am. I came into Popeyes around or about 8:55pm. The staff were already cleaning as if they were closing. I got to the counter and I inquired about getting some fresh chicken. The initial front counter rep said that they just dropped chicken (but the chicken was not fresh at all). After I was not satisfied with that response, she called her manager. In a more professional manner the manager echoed what her employee said. The manager then engaged in conversation with me about what I wanted, with little to options I ordered a chicken sandwich. Not even a minute after ordering, a gentleman came in and wanted to order chicken for his crew of workers, the tune of the employees changed (and so did mine) I expressed that if he was getting chicken that I wanted chicken as well. The employee said "we were not going to just drop two pieces of chicken" the manager was the only person who asked me what I wanted to order; then the employee proceeded to ask what I wanted. I expressed that I wanted a four piece chicken meal. Then after treating me unprofessionally, they received a large number of customers forcing them to drop chicken and make everything fresh anyway. I do not think that if an individual is in the customer service industry, he or she should automatically deny a customer's request. This is by far the worst Popeyes experience that I have ever experienced. I say that freely because I am from New Orleans and I have eaten at my fair share of Popeyes in my day. Outside of the manager and the employees that dropped the chicken and were cleaning up, the two young ladies were rude and unprofessional.
