I've been a patron of Quaker Steak & Lube from their early days up to now... I've been there for motorcycle shows, car shows, and other events they hosted. I did their wing challenge back in 2010 and just again a few days ago. Staff always have been friendly and food has always been great!! Inside of the restaurant doubles as a museum of all car and racing decor which is awesome to see!!! I'm sad to hear about the upcoming closure set for July 5th, but definitely plan on visiting a couple more times to eat and support the staff. If you've never been there, I definitely recommend checking them out and dining in so you can see how awesome it is!!! On this visit I brought my daughter and our server, Sydnie, was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed during our time there. Only thing good about this place was the car shows, bike shows, and live music. The food was terrible. Service was slow. Drinks were not cold. Foodwise everything was bad. My friends did seem to like the chicken wings. I only went because of some good people that were in the car shows. The inside of place is pretty newr like being in a garage with earnheart's car on the ceiling and gas tanks and stuff like that. Overall not recommended. Been to the original location in Sharon, PA many many times over the past 35 years. Came here once the week they opened, and since we were actually in the area, was looking forward to trying it again. Honestly, not gonna lie, the car show in the parking lot gave me a mild panic attack, but, we found a great parking spot and the inside of the restaurant is much calmer. Football on the big screen and good tunes playing. Glad we came. I ordered the cheesesteak with chips and hubster got the dozen boneless wings. I tried to talk him into the hot wing challenge, but, no such luck. Oh well. Speaking of wings, there is a reason QSL consistently beats Anchor Bar in Buffalo for the title of "Best Wings in USA"! The bike event on 2/28 was absolute CHAOS. Ridiculous engine revving, riders doing wheelies through the property, and someone even tried drifting out of the lot, lost control, and hit a curb, literally what? It felt completely unmanaged and honestly dangerous. Hosting events like this shows a complete disregard for safety, neighboring businesses, and guests. This was embarrassing. read more

After a nice time at the beach, we decided to grab some food. Honestly, we were extremely satisfied with how everything we ordered here! The wings I got was AAMAZING! I was attending the Troop 285 Car and Bike Show this afternoon. At one point I decided I was hungry and sat down at the outside bar and browsed the menu to find something to eat. Looking over the menu is not easy as there are many options. I selected the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with French Fries. When I was often visiting the Tampa area, I would often bring my motorcycle and every Wednesday I would come here on bike night. I first came here for the bike event but I soon learned that the wings here were some of the best I ever had. I have been branding to my wife and anyone who would listen about this place, The food is good and this place is kinda nostalgic but overall it's a good place. We had wings and onion rings, my wife and sister had margaritas and I had a Dr Pepper. The wings were as I remember, good size, tasty and great. The onion rings are always good and you get large pieces of rings. Oh and the mild sauce and blue cheese dressings are amazing. The manger found out we drove an hour to come here and that it was my sister's birthday. So he bought us desert, sis had the cheesecake with large pieces of fresh strawberries and my wife and I had the amazing chocolate chunk cookie with ice cream. Our server "Amy" was amazing and the manger "Carson" made us feel very welcome and appreciated. My fiancé and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally got around to it. The service was good and our server Scooter was very nice. The ambience was nice. But the food was just sooo BLAND. The wings, which we ordered on the higher (red) end of spicy, were far from spicy in the least bit. I came here with a former colleague and her kids the other day. The location is excellent even though a car show blocked most of the parking. I like the hanging cars. This place is big and has ample tables. Menu is excellent and food is excellent. Only thing stopping me from 5 stars is the food could have been out a little quicker. Stopped in today for wings,fries and a burger. The server, Sol, was exceptional. We had a gluten free friend with us and all the food came out great. Sol checked on us to make sure everything was good even though it was a very busy Sunday afternoon. There was a fundraiser for Vets going on outside with great music. Never again... No customer service!!! I stood in the front for a few minutes for someone to help me. No greeting or anything. So I grab the menu ...trying to figure out what I want to order for takeout. Finally I had to flag a server and asked what order where to go to place an order for takeout. She said the bar and when I'm done taking dine in order I will take yours. No greeting .. no smile .. no personality at all. She makes me feel like I was bothering her when I ask about what soup they served and if they have Cobb salad. She was in a hurry. I got a salad with grilled chicken . My total was $17.64. I ask for Ranch dressing. When I got home. There was no salad dressing. Disappointed and overpriced for a damn salad with bad service. I did make a point to look at her name tag. I met a friend here for lunch. Nothing fancy in fact inside seating uses plastic outdoor chairs which was a turn off. It is car racing themed. We did not get wings, but supposedly they are good. We arrived at 12pm and they have a big outdoor covered bar, outdoor uncovered seating and a few inside bars and a good amount of indoor seating. Florida in August ... we sat inside. Bartender waited on our table, she was great. Full bar, decently priced drinks and a fun mocktail selection too. I got caesar salad with garlic cheese curds (replaced croutons) and grilled chicken off the lunch menu. I'd go back slowly for those cheese curds! My girlfriend got a seasonal chicken, chipotle salad and enjoy that as well. The salads were a nice size. We had a couple of cocktails and they did not make us feel rushed. Most of the tables are for at least six so good for groups. Would be good for families as well. It appears they do a lot of themed nights, including bike () night. The burger is good. Similar to Five Guys though maybe a little lower quality. My friend had the pork and Mac plate which he found quite delicious. He was disappointed in the milkshake though because it had a layer of ice at the bottom. Maybe it keeps it cooler longer but he was expecting Oreos down there. Major letdown. The restaurant was also only about 10% full at lunchtime which might tell you something about its popularity. But on top of that it took relatively long to get our food for that small of a crowd. Took my grandkids here after Halloween trick-or-treating. The food is your average American fair. It is considered a Browns bar in my opinion if you love football a great place to go to watch the games. The kids love their chicken wings, french fries mac & cheese they put the kids food in a little race car box which was so cute, I had a burger that was good and chicken wings with garlic Parmesan. I dined here on Sunday afternoon with a few family members while my sister's school group hosted a car ash fundraiser outside. It wasn't busy at all and service was quick. Our server (I think her name was Leah) was super thoughtful and attentive. The food was good. Didn't blow my mind, but was satisfying. I tasted the loaded nachos, onion rings, fries and chicken tenders. I know, pretty basic stuff, but I wanted to stay away from bread and red meat. I'd eat here again. Prices were higher than what I'd prefer to pay for this kind of food but I think that's just the way things are these days? Still the best wings in the USA but I'm biased! Arizona Ranch sauce is so flavorful! Yum! Short review - Excellent Wings! Backstory: Growing up in Western PA and on the drive to Grandma's house for holidays, there was always a giant billboard on Rt 422 coming out of Butler for "Best Wings in the USA" on a billboard that looked like a motor oil sign. Baffled by this, I convinced my mom one day that we should go and we made the over an hour drive to try their delicious wings. I was hooked, a child foodie before foodies were cool. So was the world as they expanded to multiple restaurants in the Pittsburgh area where "Wing Night" with the guys became going to Quaker Steak where we'd routinely eat a bucket of wings each. They even had a super sized bucket called an 18 wheeler that I could put away. They also put on a Wing Buffet for lunch at one point and it was a glutton's paradise that Coolio could totally rock the soundtrack for. I'm pretty sure I'm the reason they discontinued it. Fast forward over 3 years later (give or take 25) and I find myself in St. Petersburg, FL on the last day of June where I'm just hungry for wings for a cheat meal. I drove by Hooters, Wing House, Wing Stop and Lord of the Wings without even batting an eye so I could reminisce while slurping on these moist, saucy appendages. Long gone are the days when I could eat 5 lbs of wings in a sitting, so 12 of these jumbos did the job nicely. I split the sauces between Arizona Ranch and Cajun and both were just like I remembered. Most of their sauces are good as I may have had them all except the hottest ones. It's a bummer in mid 2021 that there's a wing shortage and everywhere is putting Market Price on their menu as if we're ordering fried Pacific Bluefin Tuna fins, but that's the world we live in. 12 wings cost me $20 which wasn't THAT bad, but still. If your not a wing fan, they have other stuff like sandwiches, boneless "wings", and who knows as I don't really look. But if you want some of the best wing sauces around on some nice sized wings, then fly, don't walk, over here to indulge. They were featured on Adam Richman's Man vs. Food once for their Atomic Wings which are supposedly Hot AF (I haven't tried). If 10 cent wing night ever returns, I'll be the second in line, because some D'Bag always hears about it before me! I hate that guy! We were across the street yesterday at a Bert's Barracuda event, and decided to eat some wings. Much to my surprise, the wings are 'market priced', and the menu stated to ask your server, which we did. He told us twice he didn't know because he was new, and I don't he was going to find out either, except that I asked him to. He also didn't know what a PBR was. Great, for a beer and wing place! This is the first time eating wings out during Covid, but the price for 5 wings was $10.99! We passed, and ordered an Italian steak sandwich all the way, with onion rings instead of fries. It was decent, except it needed a firmer roll to hold the juice, because it pretty much turned mushy. Good crispy onion rings though. It was big enough to share for a light lunch. A popular place that we haven't been to in a while. We thought there was a car show on Tuesday but apparently not tonight. Anyway we decided to stay and have some wings. 5 for $5 tonight. We got Kentucky bourbon and garlic Parm order. The Kentucky bourbon ones were pretty good. They are big looking wings but when you go to eat them there is hardly any chicken meat on there. Just big bones maybe?? Not sure but I didn't care for the garlic Parm ones. The sauce was too thick for me. Also got a bowl of the baked potato bacon soup. Pretty good except the size of the bowl was small and really don't feel they give you enough. Hubby also got buffalo wings and the sauce was pretty bland on those. I placed a to go order. The woman on the phone told me it would be ready in about 10 minutes. 12 minutes later I walked inside to pick up my to go order and sat at the bar. At least five minutes later I asked another guest at the bar. If there was a bartender she told me yes he must be on break so I went outside and asked that bartender to please go find the inside bartender so I can pick up my to go order. He was reluctant, but he went into the kitchen and yelled for the indoor bartender. Finally, he shows up and has a phone charger in his hand, slowly prints, my receipt, and cashes me out and then returns to the kitchen for another five minutes to retrieve my to go order overall it took me about 15 or 20 minutes just to pick up an order. Just a gimmick place. Prices are beyond ridiculous. Food, a little step above Craplebees and Chilis. The Wild Hogs and the Food Network love this place. Otherwise, it's way overpriced, and not worth it at all. Bland to less than bland taste. Almost $20 for a shitty bar burger, not worth it at all.
