Hi delicious fish sandwich perfectly prepare, the bread was toasted with butter and the waitress constantly.

Excellent service, ambience was great and the food was delicious! My fish sandwich was perfectly cooked, it was hot. The bread was toasted perfectly, and the fries or steamy hot just the way I like it.

Awesome food that came out like a race car off the starting line!! I was amazed by all the memorabilia they have. Also keep your eyes open and don't forget to look up many cars, motorcycle motorcycles and auto/racing parts adorn the ceiling, walls, floors, and even the bathroom! Go in and ask for Lauren!!!

After a nice time at the beach, we decided to grab some food. Honestly, we were extremely satisfied with how everything we ordered here! The wings I got was AAMAZING! It was the zesty garlic flavor, highly recommended! I also got the mac and cheese burger, it wasn't the greatest. We got ribs and that was smackin! Honestly, service wasn't bad either. Our server was helpful and nice to us. The hostess were very accommodating with where we wanted to sit and etc. we will definitely be back!!

I was attending the Troop 285 Car and Bike Show this afternoon. At one point I decided I was hungry and sat down at the outside bar and browsed the menu to find something to eat. Looking over the menu is not easy as there are many options. I selected the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with French Fries. As usual, it was perfect and the service by the bar tender Brent Scooter Cory. was both friendly and efficient . I enjoyed every bite. I have found that Food at Quaker Steak and Lube is always something to be enjoyed. The food served is not fancy but prepared with pride.

When I was often visiting the Tampa area, I would often bring my motorcycle and every Wednesday I would come here on bike night. I first came here for the bike event but I soon learned that the wings here were some of the best I ever had. I have been branding to my wife and anyone who would listen about this place, The food is good and this place is kinda nostalgic but overall it's a good place. We had wings and onion rings, my wife and sister had margaritas and I had a Dr Pepper. The wings were as I remember, good size, tasty and great. The onion rings are always good and you get large pieces of rings. Oh and the mild sauce and blue cheese dressings are amazing. The manger found out we drove an hour to come here and that it was my sister's birthday. So he bought us desert, sis had the cheesecake with large pieces of fresh strawberries and my wife and I had the amazing chocolate chunk cookie with ice cream. Our server "Amy" was amazing and the manger "Carson" made us feel very welcome and appreciated. I wish they had one closer to me but for now I'm willing to journey here every so often and dine here.

Cool idea - Mufflers used for step plates for your feet at the bar!

Friday. 10-04-2024, we had a late lunch and sat at an inside bar. Jenn was our amazing bartender and we had a beer and water, an order of wings on the lunch special w/sweet potato fries and a side of onion rings. Service was great, as well as the food. Love the decor and availability to catch a fav game or golf on one of the many tv's. We enjoy Quaker State any time we're in the area!

Never again... No customer service!!! I stood in the front for a few minutes for someone to help me. No greeting or anything. So I grab the menu ...trying to figure out what I want to order for takeout. Finally I had to flag a server and asked what order where to go to place an order for takeout. She said the bar and when I'm done taking dine in order I will take yours. No greeting .. no smile .. no personality at all. She makes me feel like I was bothering her when I ask about what soup they served and if they have Cobb salad. She was in a hurry. I got a salad with grilled chicken . My total was $17.64. I ask for Ranch dressing. When I got home. There was no salad dressing. Disappointed and overpriced for a damn salad with bad service. I did make a point to look at her name tag. Ms Marsha was having a bad day and so was I. I won't be returning again. My first and last.

We went there to watch a game. Friendly people and staff. Cold beer too!! I'd heard they had good food. So we gave it a try. I had their house burger and hubby had the Asian Rice Bowl. Both were scrumptious. Roxie our server was very attentive. I had heard about this place and them having the car shows. Which my hubby has a classic car and we are going to come again for that. Come and join the camaraderie.

Interesting place. We just finished at the Hot wheels car show and decided to have a late lunch here! The food was great our waitress Sol was amazing. The entire restaurant is really neat. There's indoor and outdoor seating and as we were leaving looks like a live band was setting up outside to play some tunes.

Ask the Community - Quaker Steak & Lube

Is the Pinellas Park Bike Fest an annual event? About how many people attend?

It's annual - every February I believe, and there are hundreds of bikers who attend. Quaker also has bike night every Wednesday night. Smaller scale, but still a very decent turnout every week.

I was here for a friend's birthday dinner, they aren't very crowded on weekday nights so it's easy to get a large table. I read my last review, which was that I should get a different dressing with the kale salad. When I read the menu, I saw that the blue cheese dressing is standard for the kale salad, but this time I asked what my other options were. I decided on a raspberry vinaigrette, and it was the best decision I could've made. So here is my order from now until probably eternity, it is the kale salad that has delicious amount of cheese and candied nuts so I don't feel deprived. I get raspberry vinaigrette which, even though I don't specify, I think they always bring dressing on the side just in case. And I add grilled shrimp. It is delicious, healthy, and just a great all-around salad. Parking was super easy on a Tuesday night there is tons of parking in this parking lot. They do close at nine, which I think is a bit early especially because there's so many people that live now in the apartments around. I hope one day they decide to stay open until 10. After about 10 minutes a manager named Arthur came around and asked if we had been helped yet and we said no. He said ok just be patient someone will be with you shortly. After another 10 minutes he said to just go up to the bar and order with the bartender. When we approached the bar the rude bartender said to go sit down and that she would be with us shortly. Again, no one ever came. No one ever gave us menus and we sat there for over 30 minutes before walking out. Terrible communication between management, hosting staff, and bartenders. Terrible staffing issues. Everyone was telling us to do a different thing and we were still never greeted or served by anyone!

It was fine, but no substitute -- the honey made it a little too sweet for my taste. Still a solid pizza, just not the same. For apps we went with fried green tomatoes, truffle fries, and crispy fried wings -- a great spread to share. The tomatoes were excellent, still a little firm and not soggy, with just the right amount of crisp on the coating. The wings had a nice hot-and-sweet buffalo glaze, and the truffle fries were so good we ended up ordering a second round. The kids went with sandwiches. The Triple Smashburger was massive, towering height, though I'll note the patties were thicker than a traditional smash burger. The crispy chicken sandwich was excellent -- moist and crispy in every bite, and we upgraded to hot honey on the waiter's recommendation, which was a great call. I've had their Rueben, their Philly (of which I wrote previously), as well as their slaw. We (Queen Bee mainly) also crossed, much to my own chagrin, their Rueben rolls off our collective list. Fried pickles: same. Philly, as I stated elsewhere, was an abomination. Roll was awful, flavor was a bit bland and the whole thing just didn't come together. A Philly should be overflowing with chopped, well mixed ribeye, cheese and grilled veggies. I don't like peppers on my Philly, I tolerate shrooms and love grilled onions. This thing missed the mark on all categories. I sent it back. Rueben: small mountain of corned beef was way too salty and took away from the overall flavor and quality of the sandwich. Swiss of mediocre quality too. Like the Philly: sent it back. Blech! Rueben Rolls: sane as the Rueben itself: just wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and fried to death. This interpretation is a lil more flavorful as the ratio of ingredients is better balanced. Again: salty corned beef took away from what otherwise wouldn't be a bad app. Fried pickles: also way too salty. A pickle slice in and of itself is briny enough so added sodium is hardly needed or necessary. Someone back there seems kinda heavy handed with the salt shaker. That's why when I ask for fries there I tell 'em no salt. They use Cajun seasoning on their fries, I was told. Thanks by no thanks. Slaw, meanwhile: too dry. Cabbage and carrot seemed fresh enough, but the amount of dressing in it was minimal. As a result, it can be a lil hard to swallow. Add more dressing and they can solve it easily. I added a lil of the Queen Bee's ranch to it and that helped some. While I won't totally go for broke and bash this lil place, I have come to the conclusion that I won't waste my time trying any more of their sandwiches, which makes up for a large part of their menu. Each of 'em thus far has been underwhelming, so why should I try another? When I go out I wanna be overwhelmed in a positive way: both food as well as experience. We still go because we like the barkeeps and I like the cold beer, happy hour prices and the zillion TV's. We've always been treated very nicely there (we always sit at the bar: either indoor or outdoor depending on the day). All I'd say to keep it totally fair: I would limit myself to simple burgers and only a few of their apps. Why? I'm afraid to say I think they emphasize quantity over quality with much of their menu. We've been there enough times to know what we like and call it a day. If I could offer any positive thoughts to readers here, it would be to explore what intrigues you and go from there. One's own subjectivity often differs from that of the next fella.
