My 10 year old son ordered 6 piece wings and when he got his food we saw someone had already taken a big bite out of it and left it in the box with the remaining wings. I am absolutely disgusted. I come here every once in a while on the recommendation of my wife but this place should be closing soon. They rarely have anything you order. Today (for example) at 7:00p on a Saturday they had no spicy chicken and a ten minute wait on mild. There were no cars in the parking lot or in front of me. A little oversight and planning goes a long way. Almost every time I visit there is a wait on something that could have been avoided. Sometimes I'm told they don't accept AMEX and sometimes they do. I've actually never had a problem with this location, despite it having a one and a half star review average. We ordered for pickup on Grubhub. It was tasty and done in a timely manner. I ordered a meal and was told to pull around, he didn't tell me the total. I had I idea of the price for the meal and he put my receipt in the bag. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here for this location but they have always been good to me. last time I ordered a very large order for a get together and they explained that it would take a few minutes to prepare because of the size. Aweful. Every time I go here either as a delivery driver or as a customer they do a bad job. I'm always waiting a long long time for other peoples orders because they mainly focus on drive thru sales. So you would think they have it down for drive thru but they never have. I was just passing through and decided to stop for a bite to eat before continuing my journey home. Little did I know that I would have a huge piece of plastic molding in my sweet tea. The amount and size of the plastic that came through my straw was enough to cause serious damage or even death, plus I can only hope that was all I ingested and don't need to have my stomach pumped. Foreign Items found in food should be listed under alert/health concern. They got my order wrong. When I went back to get the piece of chicken they left out, the man working told me they closed early because business was slow. I wanted to speak with a manager but no manager was working. They didn't offer to refund me or anything. I will never again eat here. Often the sides are poorly portioned out. The 'Cajun tots' were cold when they left the window. Spread the word if you have been wrongly treated at this location. It might be the only Popeyes in town but I would rather drive to Princess Anne to eat their food if I ever eat at a Popeyes again. read more

Manager is a nightmare, if she isn't rolling her eyes at you she is avoiding eye contact. A real piece of work. The staff forgot an item in my order after I specifically ask if it was in the bag, and when I came back to retrieve the item she handed me a "special" red beans that was barely halfway full that I was scared she had contaminated (because she was disgusting and rude on the phone when I called) I asked for a large side for my inconvenience and she starts putting all the sides she has in the window in front of me and then turns her back to me. I don't understand what's wrong with this place. I like Popeyes (especially the red beans and rice) but this location has been consistently disappointing, and I've gone there a handful of times over the last 5 years. For one, my orders there have been wrong more often than right, which is astonishing by itself. I order over the phone from places where they barely speak English, and they get my order right 90% of the time. Why is it that I never seem to get everything I order here? I *usually* don't get all of the biscuits or sides that I paid for, and no one there has ever tried to make that right. This Popeyes location has actually gotten worse over the years. First couple of years it was the lack of cleaning, then the service went down hill. It has gotten to point where the employees stopped caring, including the Manager. It took them more than 20 mins to get my order to me and then I see that some of my chicken is missing (can't help but notice that food is always MISSING when there is a mistake, never ADDED...ugh). Didn't get an apology for either by the way, the Manager on duty was the one serving me and she just gave me this annoyed look when she gave my food and fixing my order. Usually I could at least count on the Managers at this Popeyes to be polite, but now they lack the professionalism as much as the regular employees do. I went to this Popeyes about 3 weeks ago and ordered their 16 piece meal...$31.99 +tax. When I got home I discovered that half of the box was drumsticks and there were also 6 thighs. Naturally, I called to complain. The manager was oh so sorry, "let me put your name on the managers list for 3 free breasts and 2 wings, on your next visit". Two stars cause the chicken tastes pretty good. Everything else SUCKS. Employees are rude. Mac n cheese tastes like watered down card board. Cajun rice is not Cajun rice, it's more of a tasteless dirty rice. The gravy is good but don't give enough. I ordered half spicy chicken and half regular chicken and they mixed it in one container so now I can't tell which is which. Called and GM was very nice and gave free food for another visit. This popeyes should be investigated by corporate. If you can think of anything pertaining to a successful fast food establishment, S. Salisbury Popeyes has completely and utterly butchered it for everyone. I went and I could smell marijuana coming from the drive thru window. They took insurmountably long to prepare a simple order. They cant do two orders in the drive thru. I've been in multiple times and the tables are grimy and you can smell the dirty mopped floor. I CANT IMAGINE THE STATE OF THE KITCHEN. During my most recent visit, they told us to pull forward, completely forgot about my order, and even after reversing and giving them my receipt they STILL forgot the biscuit! UNACCEPTABLE! This hands down has to be the worst Popeyes on the eastern seaboard and they need to be audited. The only reason I have given this one star is because the chicken is very good! The staff is extremely rude. They barely give you any sides in the containers, They have a huge machine for drinks but more than half of the flavors are not available. At least three times I have gotten home and found that I did not have all of my order. When calling to let them know they really don't care and made no attempt to make it right. I walked in today to get food and found the inside to be dirty and greasy and very unkept. Lids not filled, trash around the drink machine, workers drinks on the counter where the customers can see. This Popeyes has gone downhill for years. The a/c hasn't worked right for at least 8 years. It was 96° in the store. The soda machine wasn't working right but they didn't tell customers even though they knew. Everything comes out super greasy and very dark like it's cooked in very old oil. After that a ladies voice came on and she was super unprofessional "what you want". Rudest staff I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. If you don't like your job, please find a new one. So unfortunate for this location. I was in the drive thru yesterday, there was one car ahead of me at the window waiting when the lady told me she could take my order (after waiting for a few minutes), when I began- and asked a question she screamed "ILL BE WITH YOU IN JUST A SECOND!!" Even though she had just asked me what I'd like... Horrible horrible staff!! The next bad encounter was when I asked to do 2 spilt orders or pay separately at the window with two different cards. She told me no because it was a lunch rush. It takes 5 seconds to do a split payment. So I didn't eat there, and she could careless. It was the same rude older black woman with short black hair both times.
