We bought 4 meals and even after having to explain the exact meal 3 times, and the guy taking our order reading it back 2 separate times, and then getting our receipt with the correct order, we still received the wrong order and wrong sides when we opened everything up at home. Un-freaking-believable. My grandpa order his meal with 2 sides of rice and beans. We didn't get any sides of rice and beans, just more mashed potatoes. I ordered my chicken spicy and it came classic. I don't go to Popeyes enough to know if they make two different types of chicken, a normal and an extra crispy, but both my grandpa and grandma said all the chicken was extra crispy (which they don't like) when he specifically ordered the normal/classic. My mom got the 3 piece tenders meal and there was maybe, MAYBE one edible bite of chicken, the rest was thin crispy crap. My meal was a little better but the strips were still really thin and didn't have much meat, it was so underwhelming. And the biscuit was hard and dense and didn't taste good at all. The only thing I enjoyed about my meal was the Cajun fries. But yea, this location is not even close to being worth eating at until their employees get better at reading what was ordered and providing actual chicken tenders. read more

After a few days in the hospital, the one thing my family member wanted after a mandatory surgery was specifically Popeyes Chicken. The man taking our order was so friendly and made us comfortable and forget our woes even for a minute. He was a great salesman with some extra items that we honestly were happy to get. We ordered and he said it would be a bit since it needrd to be made fresh. Glad to wait a bit, but he gave us a free drink for our group. As we were waiting we remarked on how clean and nice the whole place looked. We got our food, thanked them and left with what seemed to be a heavier than what we ordered bag. When we got to the hospital we realized he had doubled our whole order! What we had was not just delicious, but better than expected. We had our feast with our family and gave our extra food to the wonderful nurses that have been taking care of our family. It was all fresh delicious and very appreciated by everyone. We don't live locally, but we all said that anytime we are looking for a meal we will absolutely consider this restaurant for our future meals. read more

We arrived to pick up a mobile order, waited at the last window for 25 minutes, left (without checking our food) to find all of our sandwiches to have absolutely no spicy mayo, not even a drop of mayo (the order said for extra), 1 sandwich was missing, then the order of fries didn't even come in a package (they threw the fries at the bottom of the bag). This was the worst fast food experience I've had. Went to drive thru and it was clear they had no other orders because, the employees were joking around kicking garbage on the floor. I asked for a receipt when they took my card, the machine had no paper, it then took 3 employees to replace the paper. Two of the employees started to fight with each other in front of the register area. I was given a bag of food after 20minutes. The bag was rather small for my order, so I asked is it all, she said yeah you got the 2 sandwiches right? I reminded her "no, I got 5 tenders, 4 pieces of chicken, 2sides of Mac, 1 side gravy, 2 pies, a side of ranch , side of honey, and a Diet Coke and Dr Pepper." She came back with 5 tenders 2 sides, and then got my drinks. Then proceeded to ask me what else I was missing, not exaggerating 9 times. Each time she was forgetting something else. Now mind you there was only 5 things missing. Plus my receipt. Finally after some coaxing I got my order. When I get back to my hotel, I find they have given me a Mac and a mashed potato. My 4 piece of chicken contains 2 wings and no breast. I only have one pie, I only have 4 out of the 5 tenders. I would absolutely give this location a 0/5 if possible. Very familiar with Popeye's since I used to work for the company and trained managers on how to season and cook chicken, prep biscuits and roll them out, and prepare other dishes. The Red Beans and Rice were awesome. The biscuit was very good. The chicken just missed the mark. I ordered the spicy chicken and I could tell it was spicy by the spicy flavor and the orange tint under the batter. Chicken did not have much flavor which seems that it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. The chicken was not battered evenly as it should be and the pieces were small. Maybe a 2 1/2 pound fryer or other. Small. Still hungry. Anyway, manager and fry cook need to work on their 'batch cooking'. Cooking in small batches so that chicken is fresh. This location just opened and this was our first time there. The line of cars waiting to go through the drive-thru was crazy! I sat for about 15 minutes before deciding to go inside. The wait inside was very short and the service was quick. The food, however, lacked. We got chicken strips, mine were pretty good, my husband's were flat, mostly breading. My husband did not care for the mashed potatoes with gravy or the honey mustard dip. We had already decided we probably wouldn't be stopping in again, but when I used the bathroom facilities, that cinched the deal. A worker was also in the bathroom and left without washing her hands. I was incredibly excited when Popeyes came to town, but it seems like it's taken them quite a while to sort their issues out. The first time we went was early on, so issues were to be expected and I didn't mind that the meal wasn't as great as it has been in other cities. But we just went again tonight and it seems like it has just gotten worse... When we pulled up, there was no line (there were two cars waiting on food) and we ordered right away at the drive-thru. Everything there was fine, but as soon as we pulled up behind the two cars we could sense trouble. One car got their stuff just fine, but the one in front of us was told to wait in the reserved parking spot. I don't know why they were told to do that, because it didn't make our wait any faster. In fact, we waited at least ten minutes at the window. The car in front of us must have finally gotten their food, because then WE were told to go to the reserved space (we got three Big Boxes, it wasn't a ton of food or anything). After another five minutes, our food was brought out to us by a nice man who apologized for the wait. We thanked him and left for home, but once we got back, I opened my box to find there was no chicken: just fries, onion rings, and a biscuit. I really couldn't believe it, it seems like such an early-on mistake to make (I worked in fast food and know during the first week or two we had similar problems).
