I got a mixed experience at this Starbucks location, my first encounter was with a lady name Kandle she was not patient and she was super rude to us, we had questions regarding a sale they were having on their famous cute Starbucks cups, but she seemed very annoyed with us and in hurry to close the transaction, she acted like she couldn't understand what we were saying, keep in mind the shop was empty, is not like we were holding the line, later an employee name Lindsey came out to help and she ended up helping me with my transaction, she went above and beyond, she took the time to scanned a cup to tell me the prices and the warranty on sale items. When I got my drink handle by Kandle I asked for a slip for the cup because it was hot but she ignored me. In conclusion Kandle service was a 2 and Lindsey was a 10!!!! read more

The service at this Starbucks was not very good, at all. Had to ask two different times for a sleeve. They did not look customers in the eye. And I did not get my fork with my egg bites. They are not very customer focused, at all. A manager needs to go in there and help them. read more

This is a fairly standard Starbucks here in the shopping plaza next to the outlets here at Pismo Beach. It is a great option for those folks shopping or passing through the coast. This is my go to location whenever I'm staying in town. Parking can be a little bit challenging since they're the unit closest to the outside so you'll have to walk a tiny bit but it's not too bad. The store is a little bit smaller than most but there's enough areas and tables where you can sit and enjoy your food and beverage. Be sure to sign up for a Starbucks rewards account so if you get stars for every dollar spent and there's always certain promotions or challenges that they run for bonus stars. My favorite features is the ability to do mobile orders so your order can be waiting for you as you arrive. Overall, everything's pretty good here and no complaints. read more

The lady was so rude she misheard me on my drink and I asked for it to be remade and she still debated it with me insisting that's what I asked for. Regardless, customers should be treated with more respect. Bad customer help here. read more

Was on vacation and stopped in for my birthday drink. It was before 7am and slow so maybe the older man at the register wasn't awake yet, because he wasn't friendly. I said I'd like to try something new as long as it's iced and decaf. He asked what I usually get and then proceeded to tell me, get that. I was taken aback. Like I had asked a dumb question. I've found in the past that baristas are happy to provide suggestions. They know about ingredients and recipes we're not aware of, and that's why they're great at their jobs. A younger woman also working overheard and approached and asked me some questions then offered an option which I happily agreed to. She was great (and the reason for two stars instead of 1). We also got another drink, then paid. He never said happy birthday (not required but nice - the woman did when she gave me my drink) and then we realized he'd charged and given us a venti when the second drink was a grande. Disappointing because the second drink ended up getting thrown away since it was much more than we wanted. If this was my local Starbucks, I wouldn't return. read more

Must stop when heading south. Has been for 21 years. I enjoy getting my Grande Breve Latte Quad Shot, Grande London Fog Latte, or just a Blonde. Food? Protein boxes thee best. Service is friendly. Ambiance a lot better now. The location has undergone an inside re-do and it's nice! read more

Wow - it has been a long time since we've had service this bad from a Starbucks. They, especially Lindsay, had quite the attitude when we asked to have our incorrectly made beverages remade. We didn't do anything wrong, we simply want what we ordered and paid for, simple as that. Such a request doesn't require a snippy attitude (same happened with the lady next to us - received a wrong order and got attitude in return). So glad that this isn't a local store for us! Next time we're in town we'll go to the Coffee Bean across the street, they were very polite last time we stopped there (and they got our order correct the first time). read more

Yesterday, I went to this Starbucks for coffee and a quick bit to eat. It wasn't busy (around 11:00 am) and the server was busy with filling supplies etc. She toke my order, never asked what kind of coffee and when I asked for almond milk she seemed like it was a chore rather than something she would do. The coffee was extremely strong so I asked for more milk, she was bothered and quickly filled it to the brim. My experience at this Starbucks was not a pleasant one. read more

Doing their best to keep the business going. They placed a register at the front of entrance so you can order without mobile.. Just have to be patient. Customer service is excellent, I watched how calm the associates were and still be able communicate with each other and to the customer with ease. My wife and I stopped by yesterday morning for a coffee and it was pretty busy so we had to wait quite awhile. We were the last ones standing and were still waiting for our coffees. Another customer was waiting and had checked the coffees on the counter to see if they were his (and they were) but a female manager apparently didn't like it and laid into him. He tried to diffuse the situation but she didn't want to let it go. It was completely uncomfortable and when she said they didn't want his business, that told me everything I needed to know. We will never go back to this location. She was so rude and frankly acted like she was grandstanding. Nobody needs to be talked to like that. I thought the customer is always right but apparently she is always right. Starbucks needs to take a close look at this manager before she scares away all of their customers. She deserves a zero star review but since the minimum is one star, she gets a free gift this time. read more

This Starbucks is the worst. I was there yesterday and the gentleman cashier was so rude. I had an order that I read to him off my phone. He seemed annoyed trying to key it in. When I went to the side counter to pick up my order I offered to show my phone to the lady making the drink (who was in a big hurry even though the place wasn't super busy). She rudely said "I can't read that! I Have to read the sticker!" and walked away. I won't be going back there. Unbelievable. They also took out the nice big shelving unit with all the cups and Starbucks items for sale. Now they have a few cups on a stand aligned with the register. Ambiance is zero. Customer service is zero but unfortunately it makes you give one star on this app. read more

I had a delicious Strawberry Açaí Lemonade. It's so refreshing, the crew at Pismo Beach SB is right on. Quick lines, good drinks, friendly people, customers talking lying to each other that was it a waiting for drinks talk to. It's a very inviting atmosphere and it's a pleasure going there. Ordered 3 drinks. My moms was rang up incorrectly, mine was gross and missing a few inches off the top and their reasoning was I added whipped cream...and the color was just off. Luckily my dads plain black coffee was correct. Basically don't order a drink how you like it or it will be wrong. The picture is before I even took a sip but okay Starbucks. Picture is my drink...you can see where the drink actually starts....that's like a 4th missing and they made it up with whipped cream...isn't that what the rounded lids are for? What a fun Starbucks! The Mr and I dropped by here quickly and was going to order from his app and the cashier behind the counter insisted that he experience the personal one on one service that Starbucks has to offer. He and I thought she was funny and obliged - she even brought our drinks out to us to where we were sitting when it was ready! So sweet! She's the friendly blonde. The staff has great energy - it seems like they work well together and everyone is having fun! Great for Starbucks shareholders to see! Good coffee... no drive through... and a very slow coffee barista! It's a Starbucks... generally the coffee is the same. Where the differences come in is the service and the actual space. This location is busy... line to the door and 7 to 8 waiting on their order. The crew is methodical but not very fast. One this... all of the orders cake out right! There is something to be said for accuracy, but morning coffee needs to be fast too. That was not the case. Good location, good attention, ok service. read more

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Every time my wife and I come by in the morning the entire staff there greets us and makes us feel welcome. Times are tough for everyone so we have not been able to become regulars but they always make us feel at home every single time. They are at a great location right off the freeway so it is so easy to swing in and park next to See's Candy store to grab a snacky snack for later. There is a supermarket in the same plaza so if we need anything for home then a stop at the store is just a skip away. If you are visiting Pismo Beach the Outlets are just around the corner within walking distance and you have the recipe for a fun day out with Coffee, Tea, and Friendly faces. This is by far our favorite location in all of the five cities due to all this and more. Be sure to stop in and stay for a bit enjoying the Wi-Fi while you plan your day-cation or weekend. read more

To me, Starbucks coffee is consistently the best! I usually get the Americano with some Oat milk, and every time it's a winner! I've been to many coffee houses and it's either hit or miss, depending on where you go. Everyone's been super nice, from the drive thru employee to the Barista! The other plus, when all other coffee houses are closed, You may still find an open Starbucks nearby! read more

Coffee isn't as good as it used to be. Always tastes burnt whether an espresso or pot coffee. The prices are too high for the product and their reward system isn't beneficial anymore. The service varies as do the prices. One location will charge a dollar more than another for the same drink. I rarely get decaf when I ask for it, but unfortunately I don't know until I am well away from the store. Caffeine for someone who does t drink it or can't for medical reasons is I comfortable and can be dangerous. It's deceptive and horrible customer we service. I now get coffee at McDonalds. It's not burned and doesn't cause heartburn like Starbucks. read more

This is a convenient place to stop in. And it's clean, quick and the staff is pretty friendly. I stopped in for a Caramel Cloud, (tall) and was pretty disappointed. I probably got 2oz of coffee, tons of froth. At $4.95 for a tall that's terrible. I was in a hurry so didn't return it. Plus I worry about reactions. I've had them at other Starbucks and this didn't happen. read more

Quality of coffee has gone way down and on top of the price being so expensive and rude service they guilt trip you into giving tip not sure if why they expect a tip if they are already getting their hourly pay. Maybe the drinks are bad when there isn't a tip given who knows. read more

Lack of recommendation for Starbucks in the situation. We ordered ahead, two sandwiches and two coffees. I literally run in to just grab the stuff and go. We have places to be. This was supposed to be a really fast stop. That's why you have order ahead, right? So I go in, tell the person at the pick up line the name that I'm picking up for grab the stuff and go. after I have confirmed that ithe name on all the orders are correct. I jump back into the car, we start driving, I hand, my husband, his sandwich, and I go to open mine only to find an empty bag. Now I'm thinking of myself. Hanukkah actually explain this to Starbucks that I grabbed a bag that was empty trade to my defense I literally grab the bags put them together with the two coffees and ran out the door. the bag is definitely a new bag. But it has the name and what the item that is supposed to be in the bag. I go back in and NM advised by the end barista that "oh, we're out of the feta wraps". OK, so why don't you tell me that before you just give me an empty bag and let me run out the door? Why don't you refund the money, say something, do something, write it on the bag? I'm told that she was very busy and didn't think of it. Sorry, that's complete horse Pucky. The little store manager comes over and says oh we ran out. We didn't know if you want another sandwich or if you want a refund., I think I should've been offered that when I was in the store in the first place, rather than left to leave the store and literally get on the road before I discovered your mess up. also, the girl immediately caught attitude with me. And I'm looking at her telling her I'm sorry, I'm not being unreasonable, and I'm not yelling at you, but you're acting like I am. I just ask for my refund, take it and walk out the door. I will not dark in that Starbucks ever again. And I suggest you go to any other Starbucks for that one. read more

Granted this place is crowded but to wait 15 minutes for a mobile order when it estimated 2-5 minutes is irritating. My wife had to go up and remind the barista. It would have been faster standing in line. The day before I waited in line at least 20 minutes. Bummer! read more

The worst Starbuck employee's attitude that I ve ever seen. Little kid even didnt fill full of my trenta drink until I told her. I asked for venti cup ice water, she said I could have grande ice water only. I bought 3 big drink cups and even couldnt get a bigger cup of water. First time I ve ever got the experience like this in Starbuck. When I got my cups, I said thank you and she even didnt say anything and left the spot. Worst Starbuck attitude. This store was super slow, too. 3 customers before me, 1 girl even had the drink after me, 2 others just had 2 cups. I had 3 cups. They had 1 cashier, 2 barristas and I must wait 20mins to have my drink. read more

This location has heart I don't visit many Starbucks because I don't drink coffee; however, I was thirsty today and went in for a strawberry açaí refresher. As I was waiting for my drink, which took awhile because one of the people in front of me in line ordered 12+ drinks, I started watching the staff and customers to pass the time. I said goodbye to a friendly gentleman who wished me well and then watched as every single member of the staff said goodbye and called him by name. The staff has elevated this individual from "customer" to "friend" and that has assuredly turned that gentleman into a "raving fan" for this establishment. I also watched as one customer had his card declined at the register. As he apologized and turned to leave, the cashier told him not to worry about it and then pulled out her own ATM card to pay for his drink. As I sat quietly and enjoyed my drink, I watched another exchange where something wasn't quite right. The customer was complaining quietly about something. As the manager stepped in to offer assistance, he didn't argue or give excuses, He simply "owned the problem", apologized to the customer, and went about making it right - quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed with the heart of the employees here. It is a sign of good leadership when the staff so obviously cares about everyone around them. If you are in need of caffeine, a smiling face, and/or positive energy, then I highly recommend visiting this particular location... even if you are like me and don't actually drink coffee! read more

Blonde young barista RUDE and BAD attitude . I give her my order and raises her voice asking WHAT SIZE which I had clearly said grande PIKE. Grabs my coffee cup and bangs it against the scanner to let me know I need to scan it (I'm aware how it works) . My daughter asked for the pin # to the restroom and before my daughter finishes her sentence yells the code and then proceeds to say an UHU after my daughter said thank you. I hope she read this : GET ANOTHER JOB IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH. Starbucks APP should have a review section instead of prompting the ADD TIP. SMH .. good thing this is my last stop to this location. The location is super cute, warm, and inviting from the moment you walk in. This was our first ever visit, and their website did a great job clearly explaining how everything works. We made a reservation, paid $16 each for a 50 minute visit, and it was absolutely worth it. Kayla, who was working the front desk, was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We started in the kitten room, and the time flew by so fast that we never even made it to the adult cat area. The kittens were incredibly playful, social, and engaged, and it was very clear they are being well cared for. If you love cats, enjoy good and inexpensive coffee drinks, and want to support a local business with a great mission, I highly recommend checking this place out. It was such a fun and memorable experience for my daughter and me, and we will absolutely be back.

During my recent visit to Starbucks, I was quite disappointed with the experience. The service I received was below my expectations and left much to be desired. The staff member who assisted me seemed impolite, which had a significant negative impact on my overall visit. I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this particular location to anyone based on my experience. In addition, I decided to try the new Summer Skies drink, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I would rate my experience a 5 out of 10. I've been to better Starbucks before. I ordered a mocha frappucino and got a watery mocha with whipped topping. Service was extra slow and the line for ordering was backed out of the door and the line for receiving drinks was wrapped around the building. There was also major confusion at the counter because the barista couldn't read the registers hand writing so he just yelled out drinks and no one was getting them. read more
