Ed & Son's was the first suggestion. AI isnt always right, but this time it was! Got a fair quote over the phone for maintenance service call and made an appointment for today- Saturday. Arrived on time, readily identified as legit (truck had his name, and same info in business card/invoice). Inspection showed all looked good, but the weather stripping was cracked and he could replace it. Not covered by HOA so I'llcall to set that up. He said if I wanted to upgrade anything, nylon rollers would be his suggestion, but that was not a pressure sale- just a recommendation. Knocked off $25 for rollers $225 for a service call/maintenance and new rollers, which i thought was reasonable. Asked him if motor was okay and he said yes, but not needed now. "If it's not broke, don't fix it," was his advice. Love that! Asked for price for wishlist and he said there is a range, but the e-openers are battery backup and have remote camera and operational app. Quoted under $1000 for motor and 8' track replacement. Thank you, Ed, for a reassuring, comfortable, fairly priced experience. I CAN'T SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH of him!

Excellent Service from Mr. Ed!…read more There's a reason someone earns five stars on Yelp -- because they truly deserve them. I was looking for someone who could help me with some issues with my garage door and possibly give me some ideas on upgrading my 20+ year-old system. That's when I came across Mr. Ed and his company. I was immediately drawn to the fact that he had so many five-star Yelp reviews, and now I completely understand why! First off, Mr. Ed actually answered my call on the first try! Even with a busy schedule, he was able to squeeze me in and come out to my house. He was extremely punctual, showed up right on time, and was very straightforward and honest from the beginning. He gave me a very reasonable quote, quickly identified the issue, and had it fixed within just a few minutes. He also took the time to give me some great advice and several options for the future to make my older garage door even better. Mr. Ed is honest, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Those qualities are hard to find these days, and I truly appreciate the great service he provided. I would happily recommend Mr. Ed to anyone who needs garage door service. I'll definitely be sharing his information with my neighbors and anyone else who may need a trustworthy garage door professional. Thank you, Mr. Ed!

I initially had a very positive experience with Ernesto. I needed someone to come out quickly, and…read morehe was able to schedule me on a Sunday, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. He came out, said he repaired the garage door, and left. Shortly afterward, I discovered the original problem had not been fixed. The garage door still would not close, which was the entire reason I called him in the first place. I called to let him know the issue was still happening and had him speak with my brother, who was at home at the time. He immediately suggested that I had touched or moved the sensors. I did not appreciate being blamed for the issue, especially since neither my brother nor I had touched anything. More than a week later, the garage door was still not working properly, so my brother contacted Ernesto again. He agreed to come back on Monday morning and said he would make himself available. Because of that, I stayed home waiting and rearranged my schedule, including picking up my car from the tire shop and attending a chiropractor appointment. When I called in the am to confirm his arrival time, he told me he would be there between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. By 12:40 p.m., he still had not arrived, and I had received no communication that he was running late. I called simply to let him know I needed to step out briefly and would be back around 2:30 p.m. Delays happen, and I would have completely understood if he had communicated with me. At approximately 1:20 p.m., he texted saying he was about 35 minutes away. The problem was that he already knew I would not be back until 2:30 p.m. Rather than working with the schedule I had communicated, he expected me to rearrange my day yet again after I had already spent the entire morning waiting for him. As a result, I had have my brother go to the house and accommodate a repair that should have been completed correctly the first time. What made the situation even more frustrating was his reaction. I was not upset that he was running late. I simply wanted communication. Instead of acknowledging the delay, he became defensive and started talking about how he needed to get paid on the job he was currently working on, did not want to work past 4:00 p.m., deal with traffic, or work late. None of those issues had anything to do with my call. I was simply letting him know when I would be available. He then complained that this is why he does not give customers arrival windows and said that next time he would not provide a timeframe at all. Throughout the entire conversation, I remained calm and flexible. I honestly did not care whether he came Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. My only expectation was that if he gave me a timeframe, he would either honor it or communicate if something changed. The issue was never that he was late. The issue was the lack of communication!and the defensive attitude when I tried to coordinate a solution. Waiting all morning is frustrating, but what was most disappointing was being treated as though I had done something wrong simply for asking for an update. Based on my experience, I did not appreciate the lack of professionalism, the defensive attitude, the poor communication, and the unwillingness to be flexible when scheduling issues arose. What makes this even more frustrating is that the original issue was never properly resolved, and the situation ultimately ended up creating additional inconvenience for me. Had the repair been completed correctly and communication been handled professionally, this entire situation could have been avoided.

So I went to Yelp, and saw Glory Garage Door - they had high ratings, great reviews and best of all, a verified license! I called and spoke to Denys. He was available the next morning that for my schedule. The appointment call was easy. I was hoping the assessment, quote and work would also be as easy - and guess what - it was! From the moment Denys heard the garbage attempt to open then quickly close, he knew what the problem was! He was able to manually open the door from the outside and confirmed that it was indeed the coils and tension wires. He gave me options of replacement materials - from low cost to more expensive - and allowed me to determine my price. He even showed me his price table. No hidden fees, no upsell, just full transparency! Easy! After I made my choice, he began the work which had challenges since I had something blocking the access to the coils. He found a workaround and the work began while I went into my home office for meetings. He worked to resolve the issue in less than an hour. He even threw the old parts away for me. Now that's service! Easy! All in all, this company is top notch! Very honest and trustworthy and you know he stands behind his company's work! My garage door issue was resolved in less than a day. I'm beyond satisfied that I chose to call them for my issue!

Last time Joel added some support "struts" to the door and this time in a completely unrelated repair he replaced the door spring which breaks over time with age. I was lucky to catch Joel between jobs and he came out within 1-2 hours. We have security gates and had good communication with him on text to get him in. He is a super nice man and efficient worker. He finished the repair in about 15-25 minutes. I did not have enough cash on me to pay him the exact amount, so he told me to forget the relatively small difference because we are repeat customers who will call him again as need--that's how a good businessman does business. Hopefully our old door will last a while longer, but if it needs another repair or to be replaced, then we will definitely call Joel. If you need help with your garage door, we definitely recommend you give Joel a try.

I replied that I would like an estimate to see how much it would cost before I decided if I can get it fixed. I was told to text him photos of garage door. I texted him the photos and video of the garage motor. He stated it look like I needed a new garage motor. When I questioned him why he never responded back. In addition, I told him that my sensor had been knocked down and when I hold the garage opener down the garage door opens completely and if I hold down the button again it closes completely. Rude on the phone, non responsive on text after I asked why he thought I needed a garage motor.
