We went for brunch on Sunday around 11:30 and although it was packed, our wait was only about 20 minutes, which was impressive for how busy they were. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive the entire time. My husband ordered the veggie hash and I had the loaded hash browns with asparagus and broccolini added, both were so flavorful and fresh. For our daughter, we kept it simple with one egg, a sausage patty, and bacon, and we also added a pancake with strawberries for the table. Everything was delicious! Overall, such a wonderful spot with a warm atmosphere and great food. This will definitely become a staple for our family!

The eggs Benedict is my favorite, but their biscuits and gravy are also excellent. You really can't go wrong with the pancakes or any of the classic breakfast favorites. I've always had great service, too. The only downside is how busy it gets, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a wait. I do wish they offered call-ahead seating or a Yelp waitlist. It can get a little loud, but that's only because everyone seems to love Sophie's. And don't skip the mimosas--they're a favorite too!

Families are the norm here with mainly mom's and their young families anxiously awaiting to eat. We started with an order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and smothered with sausage gravy. A homerun! The large pancake with Huckleberry syrup and an egg was done well, too. Food here is for the hearty crowd of hard workers, labors and hungry families. The portions are quite generous and done well. Stella's is a true gem with the Billing's breakfast crowd. Each morning as we drove by, a crowd had already formed. If you are looking for a good, solid and hearty breakfast, get to Stella's Kitchen. It's not like your run of the mill Applebee's, it's more elevated. But, you can still dine in dressed to your comfort and bring the entire family along. The service is usually great. We've dined in on a few busy nights and have still had great service. I'd say one out of every five visits, we get a server who obviously doesn't want to be there and it shows. But thankfully, that's not the "norm". We've tried a handful of appetizers here and my personal favorites are the Jack Daniel's prime rib bites and the Mushroom Buttons. I love looking at whatever specials they're serving up. After a trip to Alaska, we came into The Montana Club and I was so excited to see the King Crab. It was an obvious choice. I could eat these every day. My husband is a simple man, give him a steak or burger and he's good to go. One of his top picks is the Cowboy Burger but he has also really enjoyed the ribeye and prime rib on other visits. Thankfully, when we're in town for work, we usually stay across the street so dining here is a no-brainer for us.

We ordered two burgers, which were fairly average and not quite what you might expect from a high-end steakhouse. That said, the fries were excellent--crispy, well-seasoned, and easily the highlight of the meal. At first, the burgers seemed fine, just not particularly memorable. However, as we continued eating, they became noticeably dry. We also realized that the cheddar cheese was missing from both burgers, and my wife's avocado was also not included. We later learned that condiments like mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc. are provided only upon request on the side, which would have been helpful to know upfront. My wife and I were engaged in a good conversation and our waitress was busy but still attentive, so it wasn't until we were most of the way through the meal that we discovered the issues. When we brought it to Louisa's attention she contacted the manager who was very understanding and kindly credited the burgers from our bill, which we appreciated and felt was more than fair. Tonight we were simply in the mood for a lighter, more casual dinner, and while the burgers missed the mark, the overall experience and service still reflect a restaurant we would return to.
