A friend and I had lunch at PopStroke yesterday and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with smiles and attention from the moment we stepped into the nice, new facility. The server (Allen) was great, very friendly, and the food was delicious (milkshake and nachos). (My daughter said the veggie burger was the best she ever had when she was there last week.) And the view of the golf course was spectacular--so pristine and the landscaping just beautiful. Although we didn't play golf, it was fun watching the others from our comfy seats at the table. Like the saying, "It's not your father's Buick," this isn't any old mini-golf putt putt. Truly a great place for family, couples, friends, whoever likes a fun place to be. Super fun place! It's date night friendly, group friendly, and family friendly. There's Foosball tables, ping pong tables, corn hole, and yes, mini-golfing (Tiger Woods style of course), and all in an outdoor setting. There's fans blowing and circulating air on the patio/bar area and also a few misting fans throughout the golf course to help cool you down. Defitnely a place to try out! read more

Not worth the hype. After entering and barely being greeted, you are told to scan a QR code at the table to order. So you have to order, pay & tip before ever getting any food or service. This leaves a lot to be desired. As does the food. The burger that was ordered medium rare arrived well done, but again, you don't have a server. There's no one to talk to. The chicken wrap was bland and the wrap itself was so soggy. We opted not to stay for golf. It's definitely not geared towards kids, not your typical mini golf experience. Not interested in spending 27.50 per person for a course that looked pretty boring. Save your money. read more

When it first opened we were huge fans and our family of 6 quickly made Popstroke a regular family night. Lively with great, friendly service and good food for an interactive restaurant. Fast forward a few months and we arrive and are told we can only order and pay via the app. (I can't even download new apps on my phone). Staff is scarce. Basically like robots just to deliver your food. The experience was sad. We won't return unless the bring back the original energy and no mandatory impersonal app. read more

The up side...The mini golf was great, they even have a bar in-between the 2 courses. The down side (and I mean terrible)... we decided to grab a bite to eat while there.if you eat upstairs, you have to order through an app. which normally isn't a problem. We placed our order (with the help of the General Manager) due to a technical issue. 15-20 mins after placing, paying for, and tipping (you cannot proceed with order until a tip is put in), I had to go to the bar for our drinks (the ticket never populated and I had to show proof of purchase). Then another 15-20 mins later I had to ask if my food order went through ( shockingly, it didn't). I truly wish businesses would get back into the people business! This was a lot of fun. The golfing was a little more challenging than your average putt putt place. They had lots to do, too: golf, ping pong, cornhole, etc. We ate at the restaurant and all of us enjoyed our food. The only reason they lost a star is entrance is pricey. $30 per person so you can do both course is fine but what if we only want to do one course?!? Another option would be great. Easily the most fun I've ever had playing mini golf. The putting is very realistic but playable for all. Music, big screen, drink delivery, a bar in the middle of the course. The artificial turf makes it hot, but cold air misters and iced towels help mitigate the heat. Fun to play with the boys in competition, but also fun with the family for hit and giggle golf. read more

Visited here during our vacation and absolutely loved it. Food is great, we ate here two times throughout the day for lunch and dinner. We went on a weekday and didnt have any issues waiting for people in front of us on the putt putt course. Although, we did see some very large groups which could be a hold up for others that go. In addition, there were two little kids running through the course unattended to by their parents which caused me to get an employee to talk to them. Wouldn't blame this on PopStroke, more so bad parenting. Overall, would visit here again during a future vacation. read more

Today I had 6 servers standing around the bar and they took way too long for service . Only one other person at the bar when I sat down . First time here. The atmosphere is fun, family oriented, lots of kids. The food was quite a bit off the mark. We were a group of 6, 2 got their food ahead plus we ordered the Parmesan garlic fries. All meals & the fries were cold. We sent them back. In the meantime, waiting the other 4 finally got their food. I had a salad w ahi tuna on spring greens. One of the worst salads I have ever had. The street tacos were ok, a bit over stuffed & messy, but tasty. If I go back it will only be for a cocktail & a hot pretzel on their appetizer menu. We didn't golf as we all thought $20/person was a bit steep. Unfortunate, so we ended up walking the UTC mall. I don't think we'll be back. read more

We used to LOVE Popstroke until our most recent visit a couple weeks ago. We loved the food and the service there, and the idea that we could eat, golf, and get appetizers in between. We had many b-day parties there for our kids and recommended Popstroke to out-of-town guests and visitors. However, they've decided to go 100% to an app for ordering and service which is awful. Our last experience was the worst, and sadly, it was a special occasion for our family! We were seated and told to download the app which didn't include all of the items and there was no one there to answer questions. The app is not the most user friendly especially for those one-off items. We started the order, and because no staff was there to interact with us, we were not aware that we had to put in an appetizer order first before our dinner order. Then before we even placed our order, they ask for a tip (and shame on us for assuming that we'd be taken care of and leaving a tip at that point). The employees brought our dinner out and then our appetizer 3-5 minutes later. It was so impersonal with no interaction from the staff from that point on. Since our bill was paid when we put in the order, we just got up and left, and no one said a word to us. Nothing. Going forward, if we want to golf at Popstroke, we will definitely go elsewhere for food and then go golf, or maybe even choose to do something else completely since, overall, the service no is really nonexistent. What an absolute shame for a place that we enjoyed so much and a place we loved taking our friends and family to. We've already told our family, friends, and neighbors who also loved that place about our experience, and they, too, have decided not to waste their time going there. This was once a gem in the area, but no more. A HUGE disappointment and definitely not worth the money--Popstroke no longer sets itself apart from any other restaurant or fun place to take the family in the area. read more

Love this place BUT they need to install some sail shades over the golf course here in Florida because it's to hot during the day!

We were visiting Florida and decided to come here because it was to windy to fish. We showed up around 9:30 and did the red course within about 40 min. We then headed over to the black course and it was definitely a little busier, but still took about an hour. We left around noon to go grab lunch (heard mixed reviews about food there so left). During lunch my son said he wanted to go back and we decided since we have the option (all day pass) we would. The place was packed and we ended up doing only one round because it took much longer. But it still was so much fun because everyone talks while you're waiting and cheers for you. It definitely was a lot fun and we will go back. We will go when they open next time. They are also open until midnight so I'm sure it would be fun with all the lighting and palm trees. Also, they have a bar in the middle of the courses or you can download the app and they will deliver drinks. They also have drink holders at each hole and benches to sit on. read more

I had guest in town and thought this would be fun for lunch and golf. We walked in and 3 workers were socializing. Finally I asked for help. I explained that my guests were there for the first time and thought they would explain the game. No. There was 6 of us. We went for lunch but no tables. The upstairs area was not open. We golfed and the bar on the coarse was not open. In the end we left to go eat somewhere else. All said they would not go again. I think a mini golf would have been more fun. Great concept, really lots of fun, food is great and service is getting better every time we go. Just watch the weather before you go. The design of their building works great in an area like Palm Springs, but when you live in Florida and are attacked by afternoon rains every day in rainy season, they should have more protection for people dining in the restaurant. The open air design was like a wind tunnel funneling rain through the dining area soaking my family as we tried to eat our food, ended up having to leave as we just couldn't take it anymore. First, as a warning, this place has "0" ZERO shade!!! There are lots of lobster red kids there. Second, if you have any form of disabilities you're not getting around the course!! There are no walkways and several steep areas that you need to walk through and possibly over. Able-bodied only!! Be aware that this is not miniature golf but a rather hard course to play. THE MUSIC IS HORRIBLE!!! You're bombarded with a speaker at almost every hole BLASTING horrible no talent "urban" music or loud horrible no talent "pop country" music!! It really makes the experience unpleasant, to say the least. Was it fun, NO, would I go back, NO!! Sunscreen and a hat are a must on a sunny day because you're not going to see shade. The golf is fun and challenging and great for the family but can be quite crowded. Ordered a burger and it was burnt and not a lot of flavor. Other orders complained of being too salty. Asked for a waiter/waitress and was told only way to order was through an app. When ordering through app asked to tip before getting any service whatsoever. When we ordered through the app ordered apps, drinks and entrees, got the entrees before the drinks and the appetizers. Never once did anyone check on us at our table. When we did ask for service they were rude and stand off ish. If you're just going for the putt putt, putt putt or drinks at the bar you'll be fine but experience with dining was awful. read more

Dining, Drinks, and Dunks---need I say more! Went to Popstroke to see what everyone has been talking about and I must say, I am glad I did. Ate at the bar and had the street tacos in chicken and beef and were very delicious with my Tall Blonde beer on tap, served cold and fresh---refreshing. After dinner and drinks, played a round of Golf on the Red Tiger course, very nice greens, state of the art design, and just all around fun and relaxation with my party. There are TWO 18-hole courses and you can jump around if you like, or play thru. Did I mention that there is also a bar between the two courses soooooo of course we were served drinks by the talented staff while we played the courses. At the end of the Red Tiger course there is a hole-in-one challenge (almost got it!) offering a $200 giftcard. The size of the purse fluctuates and may be as high as $1000 on any given day. You can rent the balcony dining area for special events, a great place to hold any function as your guests will surely be kept occupied. Would highly recommend the experience, a great place to kick back, have a few drinks, relax and work on that putting stroke. read more

It was fun. I liked it a lot. It was crowded but not in an annoying way. Only complaint is the cup holders should be on each end of the par, it's annoying to carry your drink around after you putt. Our 1st try with Pop stroke Sarasota. We walked up to the front counter where you get you clubs and balls. The young lady was kind and smiling. We purchased 2 tickets and 2 ultras. After getting our balls the young lady went onto the next guess totally forgetting our 2 beers We ordered and were charged for. We asked another girl working there for our beer and she said she couldn't believe the other girl forgot about it. We asked a 3rd girl about our beer only to find out all the beers were not working. She left to find a manager to change the co2. As a manager you should check your co2 levels periodically so customers are not waiting for no reason. We asked another girl if she could help and she told us she would go to the other bar to get our beer which should of been done in the 1st place. It just seemed that the whole place was being runned teens and there were no parental guidance. The staff seemed undertrained and lacked skills too do what it takes to make it right. The course was fun and challenging. The app would not stop loading so I have up on mobile drink to course order. After one course we grabbed a table on the 1st floor for food. Let me tell you that the service was very slow maybe lack of staff. It took forever to get service I counted nearly 10 minutes. We had to go to the bar for drinks sipped through the beers and still waited. The app mind you still swirling with the ring of death loading loading loading. Finally got menus and quickly ordered nachos. We waited and waited and no nachos. The server had 6 different tables and each time he walked past us he did not acknowledge that the nachos would be right out not one word. Not friendly or engaging. We asked him if the nachos would be up soon and he replied he thinks so. He should of atleast said let me check or something other than he thinks so which is really him saying he doesn't know or care. The nachos came and the chips look dark towards them being cooked too long or behind left under the heat lamps. The beef was dried up and crumbly. It was not good and was very disappointing. We ordered the turkey club and a cheese burger. The club was good no cooking or skill involved with a sandwich the burger was juicy and tasty but, the fries were dark and fried too long and or the oil needed to be changed. Fries should be crisp and light in color not dark and oily. If it was not for the drinks I would of complained to the manager which would of been dumb because i do not believe there was any manager on the floor or in the kitchen. Next time is there is a next time we will play then go to the mall at the cheese factory where we can get fast better service with food that is not below apple bs grade. You all need a better presence in management, better training, and higher quality of food with a sense of urgency. What a let down. read more

Burnt fries, hamburgers burnt so bad you could scrap the burnt off the burger, the chicken sandwiches were dry as well as the chicken wings tasteless etc.... Waiter never came around asking if we need a refill on our drinks. As far as the mini putt putt course, $25 per person is very expensive for putt putt. They should at least offer a price for those that just want to play the course one time. The course is boring just the same artificial green for all the rounds, much rather have the windmills, castles, tunnels etc on standard mini putt putt course. Loved the concept and it is a great time but there needs to be an age limit. Literally like 6 thirteen year olds were playing behind us without an adult present and they were teeing off like they were at a driving range , their balks were constantly flying into our game and even the people playing in front of us. One ball almost hit my head and I had to get loud with all 6 of them and tell them to chill , I'm so happy they didn't try to get tough because I was worried about catching a case. Overall though the food was good and happy they had ufc on the big screen and the atmosphere and mini courses were solid. Suggest the age limit be 15 or must be accompanied by an adult or I can see some serious issues here. read more
