Tiger Woods and putt putt golf...it's a interesting concept, the price is not bad but people play all day, so it can get packed and back up with 5-10 people waiting. There is very little shade so during the afternoon it's was like we were in the Sahara. They do have free water and tons of other adult beverages. They need to work out the long line and put up some shade to get higher grade. read more

Greens roll really true, a delight to actual golfers playing here. It definitely takes a skilled touch to get it close on some of the longer layouts. Bonus to the neat color LEDs inside each hole. Awesome service, friendly and attentive throughout. Wish there was at least one other set of drink holders at each hole. Not much shade, either, so this won't be pleasant in the Florida heat. Last night (April 29th) was perfect before it rained, so I'm imagining more of an evening crowd. A fun place for families and delicious food too! We came around 9:45am on a Friday and made the most of a gloomy drizzling day. We played two rounds on the black course, are some lunch onsite and finished up by getting soaked so we could do the red course. Both courses were challenging, fun, and beautifully done. We had lunch at their restaurant onsite and made it a appetizer lunch with Asian sesame boneless wings, a large garlic parm fry, and an order of chicken nachos. First off you have to download of app to order any food or drinks. Which is ridiculous not to have any communication with staff. Next our appetizer came out cold. No condiments on the table no side plates as well had to go ask for them. Got our food dropped off no one asked if we needed anything or how was our meal's We had to again go get to boxes. Nice putt putt course with lots of activity for the whole family. Pretty busy but was a fun time. Didn't try the food or drinks.

Super fun for the entire family! The food was delicious and the entertainment fun for everyone. This is a new putt putt golf course created by Tiger Woods. You purchase a day pass for $25 and you play either or both courses as many times as you like. There is a bar in the middle of the courses and you can order drinks of any kind using the app on your phone. We chose to eat between the two courses at the restaurant. I got the Mediterranean chicken and my husband got the build your own burger- mushroom Swiss burger. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and the food tasted fresh and well seasoned. All of the workers are helpful and friendly. There is plenty to do for adults as well as young children. read more

Beautiful setting. Golf course (mini) looks fun, we didn't play. Food was good but some items were cold but it has only been open a few days, so I'm sure they need to get the kinks out. Meals- Strip Steak, Tacos, Smash Burger, Turkey Club and Crispy Chicken, also had ice cream. read more

4/14/23 visit arrived at 11:30 AM. Ok I finally went here after hearing all the hype. The concept and grounds are great .... One enormously HUGE problem...zero shade on the course . Come on people this is Sarasota FL. Please for the love of god and avoiding skin cancer ,put up patio umbrellas around the course or you will have zero business by May. Also cooling fans. Now moving onto the staff .... Ignoring us at every opportunity was their strong point. The desk to pay for the golf .. 4 employees standing behind the counter engrossed in conversation ignored us for several Minutes ... they saw us , they just wanted to make sure we didn't think we were important . Same thing at the bar in the restaurant. Didn't want to take our drink order. We had to ask for food menus. My friend got a salad .. no dressing on it. She ordered a Bloody Mary the bar had a tray of bacon, pickles and olives and Some whole jalapeños. My friend asked if she could have some of the jalapeños in her Bloody Mary and the bartender said .. well I'd have to cut them up. We thought that meant yes, but no, she meant no and simply wouldn't do it . We spent, with golf,over $200 that day and felt like we were "a bother" to literally the entire staff. No starter was at the starter desk area because he was too busy hanging out with all young female blonde staff ? No diversity and inclusion in your hiring choices.... Isnt this Tiger Woods venture? We were very excited for this place. Our family loves mini golf and experiences over just dinner. My wife and I went for an afternoon date. Our hope was that we could scout it out for the whole family. Our experience today was chaotic. When we arrived, we spoke with the hostess and got on the wait list for lunch. 30-40 minute wait. While we waited, we asked another attendant what we could do. They said "just wait". So we did. At the 40 minute mark, we returned to the hostess stand. No one was there. While we waited, a family of 4-6 just walked in and sat a table. Eventually, someone came and asked us what we needed. We asked about the wait list, they looked and said "oh, you were next". We observed that we could have waited at the bar and could have done some other activities while we wait (corn hole, ping pong, etc). Why weren't we advised if this as an option? As we were guided to our seat, we noticed at least a dozen tables that were empty, multiple spills on the floor, and young kids running around everywhere. We were seated in direct sunlight near the drink station. The floor was wet around the area and people were constantly coming and going. Since the table next to us was empty and remained so, we moved ourselves. It was shaded. We had 2 different waiters. One stated that she would be taking care of us, but another one took our drink and food orders. He also delivered them. The food was decent. Burgers and fries. I had ordered truffle fries and was brought parmesan fries. My wife's burger was undercooked. No deal breakers but poor attention to detail. There were bees everywhere. Probs attracted to the sugary mess of the drink station. After eating we went to play golf. We had purchased a day pass for $25 each. There was no one at the stand to enter the courses. So we just followed the crowd and got in line. There are multiple signs starting that groups are limited to 6. A few ahead of us was a large group. Directly behind us was a group of 12. The kids in the group constantly invaded our space and were ferrel. We had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to play every hole. The holes were attractive enough but not in keeping with fun miniature golf. The holes were hilly but boring. We stopped at the bar in the center during one of our waits. Margaritas! They were bitter and terrible. I don't know what went wrong but I couldn't even get half of it down. The waits were getting longer and longer. So much so that the group in front of us bailed. We looked ahead and the last two holes were completely empty. The group ahead of us was so slow that the remaining course (9 holes at that point) was completely clear. We jumped ahead and did the last two holes and bailed. This afternoon date took over 2 1/2 hours and cost us $130. It was not worth it to say the least. Very disappointed. This could be a great combo of food and fun but it misses the mark. read more

I love this place. With the kids, without the kids... works either way. The food is good. The service is friendly. And there's lots to do. This next part is not a reason to avoid this place. It's certainly not saying anything against the bartenders or servers cuz they were all working really hard as the place was very busy. I only say this as constructive criticism for management. Maybe hire a dedicated busser. Like I said, everyone was really busy doing their jobs really well, but cleanup of surfaces would be the only improvement. That said, still every bit of 5 stars. Disappointing, good for kids maybe, but zero challenge. I expected a lot more with tigers name on it. Also &27 to play is a bit steep, although it didn't stop the crowds. I really felt bad for the "starter", she had to stand in the sun, no chair for hours on end....I wont be back and wont recommend. read more

Wow!! This place exceeded my expectations. Everything was very well thought out. It was miserably hot out but they had fans with water and ice cold towels all throughout the course which was amazing. Service was quick and so convenient you can order drinks straight to whatever hole you are on. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend going! So much fun! read more

Loved hitting up popstroke for a couple rounds of mini golf when visiting my dad in Florida. The course is not overly hokey the way most are with wild obstacles, but it takes on the feel of an actual green on a golf course, yet still being quite challenging. The have QR codes all throughout the course so you can order drinks as you go, and they deliver the drinks directly to you. They also have iced towels throughout the course that you can put over your shoulder to cool you down. Those came in handy way more often than I'm willing to admit. They also have a great food menu for when your round(s) is/are done and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Great way to spend an afternoon or a late evening. This is such a fun concept. Love the atmosphere. So much to do here! The day pass is a nice concept because you can hang as long as you want but just know you'll be spending a pretty penny on it. Get the keep the golf ball though! We played both courses and went on a day it looked like a storm was rolling in and was sprinkling a little which ended up clearing the course for us. We were able to play both holes with ease, order drinks, grab a bite and have so much fun. Whoever was in charge of the music that night deserves a raise because that playlist was fire! The place is very nice. Several levels and a bar on each level including the putt putt course. Visited as part of a group event. I'm giving only 3 stars because Popstoke needs to way for group events to be better. The event was on the rooftop level with a bar and the food is also setup here as well. The food was okay but not as good as the competition. The chicken sandwich was only a nugget in a bun and the tacos were tasty. Everyone leaves the event area to putt. Servers are supposed to take drink orders on the course and deliver them to you. This is hit or miss. The benefit at the competition is the event stays in the same area for game and food. Not sure how this can be accomplished for Popstroke. I think it will be a great time for a small group of friends or family. read more

First time here. It was packed. The concept is great, and set up is pretty. I don't play golf, but have been wanting to check out the dining/drinks area. We went for lunch and it was busy. Walking in it had that moldy bar smell. My friend recommended the tuna tartare. She said they come with these "unusual" chips (which I see in one of the reviews) the chips we got were not those and were tasteless. The dish itself was subpar for $21 as was the service. I tipped well, but the waiter was very young and overwhelmed. For me it's a no as I was looking at other food coming out and nothing looked amazing or appetizing. read more

So I just want to emphasize I was so happy this place had real beer battered Fish and chips I get so mad when I go places and they say fish and chips and it's not beer battered bc that's just fried fish lol. And it was delicious by the way! I liked the coleslaw and I hate coleslaw. It was a hot day and the golf course has fans with misters which was great. The bartender even approached us and asked us if we would like a drink. Tuesdays are great for kids it's $16 for all day play and they get a free scoop of ice cream if your kids are 12 and under. I had a really nice time. We even played ping pong for a little bit. The only thing that annoyed me was when we were playing ping pong I Put my purse on this table bc nobody was sitting there and then this lady a customer asked me to move my stuff and I was annoyed bc she was waiting on her party and lied to me and said her party was there when they weren't it wasn't bothering her either yet she had the nerve to request me to move it. We played ping pong for like 15 minutes so I hope she felt like a real jerk interrupting me and my kids fun!! Ppl are so rude so my advice would be to put some tables by the games so that doesn't happen bc I was really annoyed by that and it almost ruined my Vibe. read more

Popstroke has upped the putt putt game. I have never been to such a fun course with great food at Popstroke. The restaurant area/ food area is very accommodating for wheelchair uses but the course itself is really not that accessible. For three people to play all day it was like $80. I would totally go back again it was fun and great experience. Staff and everyone there was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend if you want a fun and competitive time with family and friends. read more

This place has so much potential BUT, it is way overpriced, the area where you pay for golf, ice cream, and get game items is completely crowded and disorganized, and a good majority of the place is in direct sunlight, making it very hard to enjoy the gaming area and golf. The food at Popstroke was fantastic! We played both courses and had a great time. The only thing that would be nice is more stands for your drinks per hole. We had a great corporate event tonight. We had roughly 25 people on the 2nd floor bar area for food and drinks as part of a corporate bonding event. Outstanding bartenders, super nice, friendly and made great drinks. Bar food was good (smash burgers were a hit) but the vibe overall was just fun. Some played golf. Some played cornhole. I went to the location at UTC for the first time & had a lot of fun. The food was very good (got the chicken jerk tacos which we added fresh lime juice to make even better and we had the chicken wings. There are 8 wings and we got to do half and half. The golf was very fun. It was very hot (August at 4:30pm in Florida!) so we waited until the sun started to go down and it cooled off just enough to play. It was very crowded while we were there so heat doesn't seem to stop people from going. Great fun for all ages, including kids. read more
