Went on Friday evening and it was crowded so server gave us a separate place to sit. Food was nice we ordered all 3 types of taco , portion was small that 3 taco could only fill one person. Server was little rude and she literally took all the menu so reducing a star. Ambiance is lively but parking is tough . You can park in parking next to Anderson school. It's expensive place and they charged extra for the sauce too.

The ambiance was clean and unique!! Friendly service, all the staff was helpful/nice!! We stopped in here to watch the Seahawks/Lions game!! Our waitress was very attentive, checking up on us frequently/engaging in conversation, which was a nice change. The menu isn't very big, more like a happy hour kinda dive of which we made just in time!! We started with Salsa trio & chips! Loved the different salsas and flavors. We ordered Corn Esquites and ate it with chips this dish was so flavorful!!! I ordered carne asada fries. It came portion sized (something you can totally finish and not waste), lots of flavors throughout and delicious! My BF ordered Tuna tostada not his favorite. He said it had a lot of flavors going on. I was so hungry upon arriving I didn't take any pictures of the food!! You do receive this cute little post card with your bill!!

8/22 - The lunch service was so great! The waiter always checked in. I came here once before wanting go try the quesadilla and loved it! My friend very much loved the salad as well. I really liked the quest from the Tres Amigos! Haven't been disappointed here yet!

Joined co-workers for Happy Hour here. I get quite anxious about finding parking and was happy when my coworker let me know there were a couple of parking garages nearby. Located on a corner in downtown Bothell, the restaurant is surrounded by outdoor seating areas. We sat inside because....winter :). The stunning interior decorations, with different textures, levels, and colors, leave you with many visual pleasures. Five of us claimed a long, slender table in the bar with cushioned tall bar seats near the window. Inside, there's a warm, autumn rustic ambiance with string lighting in the bar and plentiful seating throughout the restaurant. I did have a little trouble locating the restrooms, which are right down the hall past the kitchen. This is a small plate, signature-style cocktail place, so smaller, quality portions are expected. I ordered a Mocktail Margarita for my beverage. The non-alcoholic version wasn't my favorite, but the margarita flavor was great! We ordered chips and salsa, tacos, and loaded fries for the table. The salsas came in three varieties with a wide range of flavors, and the spice was minimal. The taco I ate had a good portion of meat, but the tortilla was falling apart, which made it a little messier to eat. The server was attentive and came by often to clear the table and make sure drinks were filled. He was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They had enough on the Happy Hour menu to give us options and keep us entertained. The group ended with an order of churros for dessert, which was a good choice! I would suggest giving it a try for Happy Hour. Great rustic, upscale vibes!

Pretty but not up to reasonable expectations. Food is bland or oversalted. No salt at all on the chips .. until you get halfway down the bowl and THEN there's tons of salt,? What gives? 12 bucks for a pair of teeny bean todtadas. Dry. The salsa that comes to the table is slurry pink stuff and a pico, which was the only acceptable thing.. Overpriced. Order a pineapple cider, they bring us a can. At least 4 different indifferent servers attended us. We order coffee, a small cup of lukewarm coffee arrives. No refill. No checking in until the food is gone. We were starving and ate the stuff anyway. Not enjoyable. Will never return. Aye carramba AND servers openly complained loudly about customers who just left, while standing next to our table, by the bar . This is why you can't go out in Bothell.

Chef shrimp dish special with a side of steak added on. Absolutely delicious I would highly recommend while it's on

Stopped in for a quick meal before starting work. I ordered the shrimp special with a side of steak and it absolutely hit the spot for treating myself. The butterflied shrimp were wonderfully seasoned with a little of that open flame char, the steak added a great compliment to my shrimp making it a stupendous surf and turf combo that I haven't had in awhile. The pickled onions added a punch of flavor and the plating is beautiful. Hats off to the chef!!

Happy hour is where it's at! Small portions but reasonable prices. Drinks are still heavy on the ice, but tasted good. Can't beat $5 nachos

We are always looking for places open late for dinner and tried Poquitos back in May. We were seated immediately and loved the atmosphere. We got Al Pastor Tacos, and Enchilada Roja with Chicken. We liked both items that we got. We finished our meal with a Tres Leches cake, that we loved.

Located in a new development in the old downtown Bothell is this hot spot. WARNING - it is street parking so plan accordingly. We made reservations and was seated promptly upon arrival. For a Saturday evening it was much slower than the Seattle location. The space is very open and spacious as well. The hostess was also very accommodating to the 6 and 9 year old kiddos. We started off with the elote corn appetizer. That was really good. The best part was you didn't not need to deal with the cob and messy hands. Flavor was great with the charred exterior and the toppings. Would definitely order this one again. I typically get the tacos, but this time opted for the enchiladas (red sauce). It was decent, but not the best. The issue I think was a bone dry chicken. It was dry, but thankfully had the enchilada sauce to help wet it. Too bad your only option is cheese or chicken filling. The kids definitely liked the place and so did those who ordered the tacos. I will come back again, but for the tacos...and corn.

I love the vibes here! Poquitos on the hill will always be my fav, but I'm grateful they opened a place for us north end peeps. Recommend the salsa trio, guac, and pork belly tacos if they have them on the menu. Parking can be rough but there are guest spots in the apartment garages nearby for retail shops in addition to street spaces. McMinimans Bothell is next door if you want to hop over for more fun!

Ambience, service and food were great. I was a little nervous coming here because when I first tried 5 years ago, I wasn't a fan. The food tasted bland, and I wasn't feeling the vibe. We gave it another try recently and it looked like they changed the space up and I feel like really stepped up the food. The guava margarita was also excellent! It's a great place in downtown Bothell that would be a good spot with your family or meetup with friends!

Weak food. I live right around the corner so this was a home game for me. I was excited to find a regular Mexican joint, but today but I came away empty handed. The gauc was decent (3.1/5) but it was $15 and Houdini back in the kitchen stacked a bunch of chips underneath the gauc to make it look bigger than it was (Believe me I've been there before buddy). They give you a giant bowl of chips and then just stuff even more of the chips in the gauc?!I'm 25 years old I know how to dip a chip. The burrito (1.2/5) was uninspired and strikingly chode like. A sprinkle of steak with stale black beans and rice. Not even grilled on either side or the tortilla warmed up. Do yourself a favor, there is a taco truck right down the street that is fire, they even do Birria. Tell them Diego sent you

La Gloria is the exception. Reviews glow, but since you have seen my score, it's clear there is room for improvement. Once seated, we were served a Tostada. This was a single small fried tortilla with beans, cabbage and salsa. Probably cost less than $.25 in material, but sells for around $7. Now whenever, I talked to my God Mother, rest in peace, about a new Mexican restaurant, her first question was always the same, "How were the Frijoles?". These beans were creamy, well-seasoned and flavorful. The best refried beans I've tasted in some time. I still say the appetizer is overpriced, but I also see why they serve you one free for dining in. We started with chips and salsa. I still say, they should be free, but at $4, it's a little tough to complaint, but I will. The chips came on a dinner plate. A dinner plate of chips would be about the same size as a restaurant basket of chips, however, there was a large bowl big enough for soup with the smallest amount of salsa in it. So now, 25% of that surface space is gone. This bowl which most likely holds 16 oz has about 3 ounces of salsa, in it and 1/3 of the plate space is empty, So you have enough chips for one person and barely enough salsa for dipping. The salsa was also tart, no heat, no seasoning, we were very disappointed. Last, if you charge me for chips and salsa, it better be bottomless, but once the chips were gone, they removed the plate and bowl without offering to refill either. There were a couple items that looked good to me, but they both had squash. Sorry, I've never heard of squash in Mexican food, unless it's vegan, but maybe it's popular in the region this family is from. Rather than ask if it could be removed, I decided to go with the Carnes Asada. The food took a while to arrive, but they said everything is made from scratch and fresh, so I anticipated a meal worthy of El Presidente himself! Now, clearly this place was not without its flaws, but this was the best Carne Asada I've ever tasted. I was really skeptical, because it was thick cut and when Carna Asada is thick cut certain things tend to happen, it's not cooked evenly, the meat isn't seasoned well enough, so bites end up being bland. No, this was juicy, well-seasoned and cooked evenly, flawless. It also came with a generous scoop of guacamole, that didn't really impress. It was also served with Fried Cheese, no idea what that is, sounds like something served at the fair on stick. I got several tortillas that were hot and fresh and a small cup of whole beans that could have used some crumbled cheese on top. There was also a large portion of rice, but the flavor was a bit fishy. I don't know if they used a seafood broth, but for me it was inedible. There was also a smoky, spicy salsa served, but again, it was a tablespoon. Stop being so cheap with the salsa! This also would have been a far better salsa to go with chips than what was served. Glad I tasted everything, but not sure I would order it again. I didn't eat half of what was served do to taste which means I overpaid. If we do make it back, it would probably be for happy hour. That way we could sample a couple other items in a smaller portion for less. Would I recommend this place, sure, but not without the above cautions included. I like to clean my plate and feel like I got a deal, neither happened here due to some questionable choices in flavor or seasoning. The people could not have been nicer, but I can't say we left completely satisfied.
