This is THE most charming restaurant and overall dining experience. This is a fancier restaurant and the prices reflect that, however I do understand why after experiencing the high level of service and food. Every staff member we encountered was kind and seemed happy to be a part of Porch & Vine. The owner stopped by our table to say hello and check in on our experience which was a really nice touch as well. Finally and most importantly, the food was delicious too! This genuinely might have been the best steak my husband and I have ever had. The charcoal grill flavor was AMAZING. Our pork belly appetizer was very flavorful and tender. The only constructive feedback I will give was that for the high price, I do feel that my scallop entree needed to be a little larger. It's served in an appetizer size plate and left me feeling hungry. Drink wise, we really appreciated that the drinks could be ordered spirit-free or with the paired liquor. The drink menu was extensive too! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend you stop in this new gem downtown. The curated decor, friendly staff, and from-scratch kitchen really set this place apart. We can't wait to come back and try their brunch as well!

Ready for celebrations big or small :)

It was cozy, welcoming, and actually pretty quiet, which made the whole dinner feel relaxed and special. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server started us off with fresh homemade focaccia, and my lord, it was delicious. So soft, airy, warm, and basically impossible not to keep reaching for. We all ordered the filet mignon, and every steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. Tender, seasoned beautifully, and genuinely melted in your mouth. You do get a choice of sauce, so we tried their house-made steak sauce. The steak honestly did not need a single thing, but the sauce was impressive too. Mild, a little sweet, a little smoky, and really well-balanced. My husband had the mashed potatoes and boldly claimed they were better than mine. I regretfully had to agree. My son and I had the goat cheese macaroni and cheese, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best mac and cheese I have ever eaten. We even asked for seconds to go, and I will absolutely be attempting a copycat version at home. We were too full for dessert, but I can promise you this meal did not disappoint. We will be talking about this dinner for years. We even said that if we were younger, we would totally plan an entire weekend around eating here again.

The Chop House literally feels like a house and we really enjoyed the vibe. We were seated on the second floor and were welcomed with a little congratulatory note at our table. It turned out that everyone else on the second floor was celebrating an anniversary as well! The server was very sweet and really set the standard for kindness and making us feel welcomed. For dinner we had the filet mignon and the sirloin steak both with mashed potatoes. They were excellent and in my opinion better than Morton's. The bread they gave us prior to dinner also deserves a shout out. Really this was just the perfect experience for an anniversary dinner. I highly recommend The Chop House Bistro!

Shannon, the owner and I chatted for quite awhile on how "Ollie Cat Cafe" came to be. The restaurant location on how many different things it was previous was quite fascinating, soda shop, pharmacy, opera house. Loved, the vibe and feel from this small town cafe. The atmosphere, passion, and dedication of Shannon , as one of the owners is something; I personally haven't seen in quite awhile in a restaurant. I ordered the Panko seasoned flounder sandwich that was outstanding, delicious, light and flavorful. The sandwich came with the side, and was delighted that they were fresh vegetable medley with the perfect amount of seasoning. Wonderful staff and dining experience. The waitstaff were very friendly, and the place was really well kept clean and presentable. The down side... right off the jump, the water they served us was not drinkable. I'm not being pretentious here, I was legitimately concerned after taking that first sip if I was going to spend the night over the toilet. I did not take another sip, and told my family not to ether. The food took a while, and I don't mind a wait for good eats. But the other reviews on here were right, it was tasteless and seemed to be served right out of a frozen food box. I had the chicken parm sandwich, the scolding hot marinara sauce was burnt by every measure, and the fried chicken patty was still cold in the middle. To the restaurants credit, they did not mess up the fry's. My family's meals were similar, with my wife having the cordon blue with similar results in the fried chicken, and my daughter who loves chicken fingers, not eating more than the one. Overall I think this place has the potential to be good, but they need to fix their kitchen before they do anything else.

The best drink in the tasting was their 8 yoa bourbon, very smooth and a little sweet, great for sipping or mixing. The vodka also tasted good in drinks. This was one of the best distillery I have tried. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The building is absolutely beautiful inside and if it's nice outside, the scenery behind the distillery is amazing with a creek running right past the back porch. It was a chilly day and we followed the instructions to ring the bell when we were outside. Shout out to the folks here who provide the cute cat with a heated blanket to lay on during cold weather. Members of the staff quickly came by to let us in and we walked into a empty sitting area. To be fair, it was around 3:00pm on a Wednesday. The vibe inside is eclectic, homey, and comfortable. We grabbed a seat at a table near the fire. We had time to review menu. I picked a classic Whiskey Sour and my Mom got one of their warm whiskey cocktails. Both of us really enjoyed ours. We sipped and savored them and just enjoyed a bit of a respite from our road trip. We both got a bottle of their whiskey to take home with us. These aren't your standard whiskeys and they are definitely more expensive than what you'd probably get in the liquor store. We've been enjoying our purchases at home since our visit. Copper Fox is a nice stop and I'd recommend it to folks wanting a break and a beverage.

The hotel is clean, modern, and reasonably priced, but honestly, the real highlight is the Ridge Room. After a long day on the road, I really don't want to get back in the car to find dinner, so having a rooftop restaurant just steps from the room is perfect. The mountain views are great, and the farm-to-table menu is always interesting. We've eaten here several times, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently good, and the bartenders know what they're doing--the drinks are just as solid as the meals. It's one of those places where the menu might not immediately grab you, but once you try the food, it all clicks. Definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to.

I have found the front staff and the wait staff to be lacking in their consideration towards restaurant guests. It seems that they are picking and choosing whom they choose to grant a great experience to. Service: The front staff and waitress we had carried an air of attitude when dealing with me and my family. It seemed like they were not keen to accommodate a few of our basic requests which essentially boiled down to laziness. To be honest, they are very petty when it comes to getting a table on their rooftop...when my family (of 5) came in, they told us it was first come first serve and sat us inside. Another family came in with 3-4 adults and 2 kids after we were seated, to which they promptly moved them outside even though they were inside as well when a spot opened up. I'm not truly understanding the mentality of service here and frankly thought for a nice establishment there would be better decorum and attitude towards guests. Food: overall pretty good. I found the food and drink to be solid. In summary, the food is good here but doesn't surpass the service we received.
