Bought a CPO (Certified Pre-owned) from this location. Our first Porsche. Three weeks into it there were two major issues with the car, second of which left the car dead at home and had to be towed. The issues were battery and motors. When I contacted them about the warranty coverage they basically told me "car was fine when you drove off the lot" like some 2-bit used car salesman and refused to cover it under warranty, and I was handed $3000-4000 repair bill. IN THE FIRST MONTH OF OWNERSHIP. Post sales they also almost denied to perform a minor modification to the car for free, that was promised it would be done for free during sales negotiation. We had to escalate it to upper management to get the mod done for free. This is of course a minor issue compared to the repairs. There was also miscalculation of taxes on their part that ended up with a higher monthly payment for us than previously discussed. As this is a math calculation issue it's less dishonesty and more incompetence. We've bought cars from Mazda, Honda, Lexus, infini, Fiat, Audi and BMW and Porsche is by far the most dishonest and the worst brand, at least the Riverside one is. read more

Came in after seeing the cheapest CPO Cayenne in the country listed here. Made an appointment with Eric, came in, test drove with Juan, negotiated very mildly (just to offset the cost of the LoJack), and purchased shortly after. Juan was super friendly, laid back, and was completely no-pressure. With Alex, no hidden games or gimmicks at the finance table either. 5 star purchase experience. The Cayenne did have a few minor quirks that needed to be addressed. PPF on driver's side headlight was gashed. There was a rattling in the dash that was intermittent at higher speeds. And also the car pulled slightly to the right when driving on a flat road. Worked with William as my SA. He was fantastic. Initially, I thought it would be a disaster of a service experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have been used to getting the "cannot reproduce the problem" or "everything working as intended" doors shut in my face from my past BMW ownership experience, but they actually did address most everything on my list. We went 50/50 on redoing the PPF on the front headlight. I took the shop foreman for a drive and he heard some slight rattles, and afterwards, he had his guys open up the dash and start felt taping stuff, so I guess it worked. The alignment issue/pulling to the right ended up being the fact that one rear-right tire was significantly smaller (2 mm?) than the one on the rear-left, which I agreed to leave alone until the next tire change. They also removed a long piece of paper towel that someone had embedded in the dash for some reason. The service took about 4 days, but I had a loaner base Macan in that time, which was great as well. Loaner experience was excellent overall. Came here to compare a Macan GTS and a Macan S. No one greeted me, and sales team seemed not to really regard me. No worries I know what I like and what I wanted, was leaning toward the GTS. Test drove them both. Enjoyed what I saw and felt with the quality and performance. Test drive was nice enough, got to put them both in to sport mode. Today I called and spoke w Rob - online sales. Chatted briefly about the 911 targa that just became available. We agreed to set up a live video call to look at the car. What happened? No show. I called several times and eventually someone else picked up the call and said Rob was w a customer despite having committed to meet with me virtually to do a video walkthru of the car. I called one more time and this time when I asked for the GM who replied to my initial Yelp review to share my experience w Rob and I got directed to another person - Jacob. What did Jacob do? Commit to getting back to me on a few items. What happened? Zilch. Nada. Both Rob and Jacob have one objective in mind: to shoo away customers. Instead of trying to build a connection they open the EXIT door WIDE for customers. Mind the reader, this is a follow up to my initial review posted in 2024. Not much has changed. Pls readers do yourself a BIG favor and don't even bother trying to walk through a door that reads enter. You're better off at Porsche South Bay or Porsche Palm Springs. The experience of buying my first 911 CarreraS was a true 10. From the initial introduction of Tony Nguyen to taking delivery was a first rate experience. Tony was attentive and prompt when returning calls and texts. He has a calming demeanor and presented the car with informational detail as opposed to the essence of Porsche. Since this was a cash transaction, things were happening fast and Tony kept on top of every detail to allow this to occur. Never seen a bigger pack of jerks in my life than Riverside Porsche service. Funny, the sales staff is very charming. One of many examples: One of the keys on the dash became stuck and then broke when I tried to free it. it should cost about $2 to replace this little plastic rectangle that snaps into a line of little plastic keys that designate functions such as radio, nav., etc. I contact the service manager at Riverside Porsche. The service manager tells me that the fix is to replace the entire electronics system, including navigation, etc. with a charge of $3600. i am flabbergasted and think he does not understand. But he does! One of these keys on e bay cost about $10. When I point this out, he shrugs his shoulders In a nonchalant and very irritating manner. Two days ago the battery died on my Porsche when I was away from home. I called AAA and they sent out Hope Towing. Hope Towing replaced the battery for $267 but did not reprogram the electronics. As a result, can't start car after I turn it off. Left me stranded three times in two days. Hope Towing doesn't want to hear it. Had to call AAA each time to get it started. Call Riverside Porsche service to schedule a reprogramming. Service tells me they cannot reprogram an "after market battery" that is not a Porsche battery. They want me to discard the battery I just purchased for $267 and buy one of their batterys. I contact three repair shops and all say they can reprogram electronics with this battery, no problem. read more
