We canceled our cable and relied entirely on our Apple TV for Netflix, Hulu, and the like.

Outstanding service!!…read more So, I was in a bad mood after struggling for over a week with a recently purchased phone that was not working properly. The employees at the Verizon Wireless on Fleet Street were amazing and turned my day around!! Solutions Specialist Veronica was very patient and listened as I complained about the issues I was having with my current phone. She was very knowledgeable and gave options as to which phone would work better for me. After looking at few cases on the wall Veronica was nice enough to bring out a large selection of colorful cases from the back room for me to choose from. She was nothing but friendly and helpful. Solutions Specialist Christian was equally as wonderful. He was fast and efficient when setting up my new phone and transferring all of my contacts and applications. He even put on the case and screen protector for me so I wouldn't have any annoying bubbles. Solutions Manager Gimel took extra time to go through and set me up with the best plan for my budget, even when it got a little complicated. You can tell he really cares about his job and giving people the best deal. It is really hard to find someone who puts the costumer's interest first like that in sales these days. I really appreciate the amazing staff they have over at the Verizon Wireless on Fleet Street. Ask for Veronica, Christian or Gimel and they will definitely take care of you!

(1 Star) Absolutely…read morehorrible experience with Comcast. Comcast scheduled planned maintenance during normal business hours, claiming the outage would only last 2 hours. Instead, it turned into an all-day outage, leaving my business with no internet and no phone service. As a business owner, that means I couldn't operate, serve customers, or conduct business. This has caused a significant financial loss. The most frustrating part is that this wasn't an emergency--it was planned. Whoever decided to perform this maintenance during business hours showed a complete lack of consideration for businesses that depend on their services. There are 16 other hours in the day when this work could have been done with far less impact. I also spoke with Kim, a supervisor, regarding Work Order #685702. Rather than showing any concern or empathy for the financial hardship this outage caused, she was condescending and dismissive. It was clear she had no interest in helping or taking ownership of the situation. Comcast's poor planning, lack of communication, and disregard for its business customers are unacceptable. I will be requesting compensation for the revenue my business lost because of this preventable outage. After this experience, I'll be seriously looking into switching providers. If Verizon can provide more reliable service and treat its business customers with greater respect, they'll be getting my business instead.

After being with them for 20+ years with no dedication to loyal longtime customers I'm done!! I called Comcast and tried to get them to adjust my bill and they were going to take off $10.00; I told them I have a offer for $79.99 for new customers and they weren't willing to adjust my bill. I'm tired of having to babysit my bill every month and calling them because of the price hikes! It's a monopoly...... I called DirectTV and received all the information; then calling Dish TV, I decided to go with Dish. I was so nervous about switching to totally different system and when I read the reviews and seen they were rated #1 I took the leap to give Dish a try and I picked the America's Top 350 package the best package costing us about $100 bucks; I added on a few things today so it maybe a few more bucks. Today a awesome Gentleman named Kepler came and spent hours hooking us up; showing me everything he was doing along the way! When he finally hooked up the tv's the picture was amazing and very sharp! Kepler showed me all the details I need to know to work the TV and the remotes that are voice control! So far I'm so very happy with the entire satellite Dish TV. Looking forward to saving some money! FINALLY

Definitely irritated by the latest news that Clear will be ceasing operations as of November 6th…read more In some ways, I'm actually glad for it, because the service has been irritatingly slow (especially within the last month), and the technical help is less than stellar. However, what's even worse is the fact that with the exit of Clear as an Internet provider, Baltimore City residents now only have .... Verizon and Comcast to choose from. That's it. Two monopolies. Whoop-dee-do, I'm so excited. Not. I seriously wish that Google had picked Baltimore as a startup city for their fiber optic network, but eh. It is what it is. I, too, have been with Clear from the very beginning (since the "xohm.com" days) and up until now, I've been satisfied with it only because I didn't have to put up with Verizon or Comcast's crap. No more, I guess. Bummer. If we in Baltimore City want fiber optic capabilities (and we should, damn it - this is SUPPOSED to be a major metropolitan area), I would encourage everyone to visit the Baltimore Broadband Coalition - it's a grassroots effort to get fiber optic lines into this city, and it's well worth your while. Visit them here at http://crowdfiber.com/campaigns/baltimore-broadband-coalition. Buhbyes, Clear. You served me well, but I can't say I'm happy with the decision to cease service.

Clear- I'm sorry for the bad reviews from other subscribers…read moreEveryone- Clear wireless has been my saving grace (Clear... don't make me a liar). I went through the Sprint mobile broadband experience and was hosed by Sprint (Sprint... I'm saving my fire for your review... here's a spoiler... YOU SUCK). Clear has been professional, has lived up to my expectations, no contract, is very affordable, and is fast. Check the coverage areas before you sign up, so you know what to expect. The modem is ugly (but who cares), and I have to put it in the window to get a 3-light signal at night. When on 2 lights it is still fine for streaming Netflix or Hulu Plus. I think for the price, the no-contract, and by checking your coverage maps... you can make the right decision. Clear has been good to me so far, and I hope you have the same experience.
