Absolutely loved my visit to Care Forgot. The Margherita pizza was unreal. I enjoyed every bite and honestly wanted to order a second one just for myself. It's simple, fresh, and perfectly done. I also tried a flight of beers and loved every single one. Primo Morso and 'Nacular Misbelief really stood out and were both incredibly flavorful in their own ways. The bartender made the experience even better. He was funny, interesting to talk to, and clearly knew his stuff when it came to beer. His enthusiasm and knowledge added so much to the overall vibe. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Phenomenal pizza and beer literally the best pizza I've ever had and I have had a LOT. The beer options are also amazing. The bread budding barley beer was so fresh and crisp and perfectly sweet. The service was also great and bartender was fun to talk to. Wow! What a gem! My friends chose Care Forgot as our post-race spot, and it was perfect! A regular did call ahead to give warning a group was expected, so they were ready! No one had to wait to order, and I will tell you, the beer is pretty awesome! I chose a lighter one to start and was gifted an IPA from a friend. Both affordable and both delicious! We took over the back area, and I had a piece of a friend's pizza, and OMG, that was excellent - soft crust, delicious toppings. I plan to go back and get more for sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is cute, and they sure can pack a lot of people in there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] An absolutely wonderful way to celebrate with friends on a Saturday afternoon! Great brewery spot in the heart of New Orleans! They have a variety of beer styles available, and all that we tried were great. The service was super friendly and helpful as this was our first visit here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is some indoor seating, but not a whole lot if you have a bigger party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also ordered a pepperoni pizza to try. It came out quickly, and it really hit the spot! My friend suggested this spot for crawfish after we got done with a race. She said that it was the best crawfish in the city, and I was skeptic. However, once I tried it was soooo good! The crawfish was hot and spicy. It was with the fixings: boiled mushrooms, sausage, potatoes, corn, and pineapple. All you have to do is step inside for a nice cold beer to wash down the crawfish!! It is definitely one of the best spots in the city, and I will be going back for more!! read more

First I'll say the good things... [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute little bar next to Avenue pub.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're not in the mood for their pizza, they let you order from Avenue and eat it there. We did see a couple of pizzas come out and I guess it's their thing to blacken/burn the top of the crust? The beer selection was good for a small brewery, nice varied choices. We left after the first beer beer simply because we felt ignored. Our glass was empty 10 minutes while the bartender went back and forth past us and it finally go to the point where we flagged him and said we'll close out. We're not sure if it was "us" or the women at the bar he was interacting mostly with. We closed out and went to Brew Carrie. Much better experience there. Bartender there kept an eye on our drinks and was asking about our next beer before our glass was empty. read more

One of the best microbrews I have ever been to. The selection of small batch beer is always great with flavors you wont find at any of the other breweries in town. Today was hot and crazy, needed something hazy! Got off a bit later than I expected and I was close to this new brewery. Stopped in about 30 min to close, got to sample a couple of beers before choosing the peacock plume! bartender was super nice and welcoming even though I came so close to closing time, whew . I give this place 5 stars because of how well done everything is for being such a new business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a very local vibe for Saint Charles and the staff were very helpful (recommended favorites) and enjoyable to talk to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will say the pizza exceeded my expectations-- New Orleans is definitely lacking in the pizza scene, but this slice was worth coming back for. Another thing i really liked was the many different options of beers they have. Sours, IPA's, Lagers, Stouts. I mean.. that's a good but for such a new/small craft brewery! Care Forgot is a great little brewery. Connor is the Brew Master and super nice guy and small businessman (which takes courage here in Nola). Connor does not lack for imagination in coming up with new beers. The beer rotation is frequent. I always find something that I like. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to bring friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating in front and in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]AC inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is very relaxed with a lot of regulars sprinkled with a few tourists courageous enough to break out of the Quarter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Take the streetcar straight there, tourists! My husband and I recently spent a week in New Orleans, after having visited the first time 18 years ago. As we were traveling to find the best pralines in New Orleans (Bernard's on Charles St), we came across this gem of a brewery. Searching for some respite from the blazing heat, and being lovers or local breweries, we decided to stop in to try the beer. The beer is GOOD. Really good, and the atmosphere is charming with a side of quirky. The facility is clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating, as was the owner. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are a local or a visitor, stop by this awesome place for some great local vibes and beer. read more

Perfect location for us, we stayed at an Airbnb a block away on St Charles. I had the double hazy IPA and really enjoyed it, I am a hoppy guy. My wife likes Pilsners, and liked the recommended one, I believe it was YAT Accent. The place is small, has a few tables in the back, and a few more in a nice patio, if you prefer sitting outside. The pizza they offered appeared like an afterthought as there was no menu, there were only two types of pizza (We went the week they opened) but it was actually very good, the dough was rye, and the sauce tasted home made. We will definitely be back when in NoLa. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Care Forgot during my recent visit to New Orleans (from Cleveland for the Browns-Saints game). It was a great experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. I usually visit multiple breweries when I travel, but I came back to Care Forgot three days straight. All of their beers were creative and great with Cafeteria Catholic IPA being my favorite (I think it's the best IPA in New Orleans!). The staff was very beer knowledgeable and super friendly. I had an opportunity to meet and talk with Connor (Owner and head brewer) and his staff of Ruby, Bill and Michael who were always willing to talk about beer and New Orleans history. I highly recommend checking it out. It's on St. Charles and it's an easy walk or streetcar ride from the hotels on Canal. read more

The beignets are piled in sugar, they are warm, crunchy and crisp on the outside and soft, warm and delicate inside. I gotta tell you, the texture is just a little different than Cafe Beignet, the Four Seasons, and even the other CDM in the park we tried a few days later. To me, this is the best one. Now, as a coffee person, their black coffee is strong, rich, and a good compliment to the real show - the beignets. But I did not pick up on nearly as much chicory in their chicory coffee as, say, Cafe Beignet's version. Also, I have to let you know the other location in the big park serves a non-chicory version (in addition to NOLA chicory) that is head and shoulders the best coffee we had in New Orleans. But this is the joint. As a bonus, it's colorful, has consistently great street musicians, and has lots of walkable sites as you struggle to waddle around after too many beignets. Gotta go!

The inside is small, but the courtyard is a really cool place to sit even on a July afternoon as it is shaded with plants and umbrellas. They have different food vendors all the time and crawfish every spring. On our last visit, we had a really good Detroit style pizza. I will keep going because they are always trying to brew new beers and because it's my girlfriend's favorite brewery in Nola. If they still have the habanero pickle sour, I may even try it.

Here is one of the best things that we did not know when coming here, they have cats! I think one lives inside, Patrick, and they take care of 15 cats that live on their property. I am a cat person, so walking in and seeing a cat inside, I thought I was in heaven! Patrick sat on my lap or with us during both of our visits. I seriously couldn't have been happier. So between the cats, stout and beautiful space, it was a pleasure to be there! Ten stars of I could!
