Bread pudding barley beer - anglaise
    Sofia M.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Phenomenal pizza and beer literally the best pizza I've ever had and I have had a LOT. The beer options are also amazing. The bread budding barley beer was so fresh and crisp and perfectly sweet. The service was also great and bartender was fun to talk to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cool vibe at the bar and apparently they also have trivia and a crawfish boil.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm visiting from chicago and plan on purchasing beer to-go and returning for more pizza before my trip ends.

Great brewery spot in the heart of New Orleans! They have a variety of beer styles available, and all that we tried were great. The service was super friendly and helpful as this was our first visit here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is some indoor seating, but not a whole lot if you have a bigger party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also ordered a pepperoni pizza to try. It came out quickly, and it really hit the spot! It could feed one for dinner, but it's also a great size to share! Overall, solid beer and food with great service- we will be back!

Great craft beer in NOLA ! Magazine street shopping area and also an easy walk from the French Quarter. Definitely recommend.

Care Forgot is a great local place to grab good beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's small but it's got big charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff behind the bar are always super friendly and hold good conversation. The beer is really good, too. Try their Black Pils.

This place hasn't been around as long as the other breweries but it does not disappoint. With a good selection of beer choices, this tucked away brew house is worth the visit!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cozy and cute brewery on St Charles.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My boyfriend is a big beer aficionado and he thinks this place makes some of the best beers in town. They also have pizza which are slightly larger than personal pay and size. The two of us were able to split one. I would definitely come back and try more beers because the selection rotates a lot

Today was hot and crazy, needed something hazy! Got off a bit later than I expected and I was close to this new brewery. Stopped in about 30 min to close, got to sample a couple of beers before choosing the peacock plume! bartender was super nice and welcoming even though I came so close to closing time, whew . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice moderately sized place with a bar and area to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back!

I give this place 5 stars because of how well done everything is for being such a new business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a very local vibe for Saint Charles and the staff were very helpful (recommended favorites) and enjoyable to talk to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will say the pizza exceeded my expectations-- New Orleans is definitely lacking in the pizza scene, but this slice was worth coming back for. Another thing i really liked was the many different options of beers they have. Sours, IPA's, Lagers, Stouts. I mean.. that's a good but for such a new/small craft brewery! Anyways, i'm happy this place opened up and I will definitely be coming back. Can't wait to see how this place grows!

Caught this nano brewery while in town on for a visit. I think it's on a soft opening. 5 on tap so I chose the Double Hazy IPA to see where things were on a hot day. Solid brew! I'll be back next time I'm in town.

I'm not sure about parking as I walked to the brewery on my recent visit. This brewery has a great feel that hearkens back to a cozy neighborhood pub - eclectic seating divided between a couple of rooms with a small bar and a simple setup including around 9-10 taps. I felt right at home. Flights included four 5 ounce pours for $19. Food is mostly supplied by Shift Kitchen but you're basically invited to bring in anything you want. I tried the following: * 90s Women's Power Ballads - IPA - New England / Hazy 6.6% ABV - Pretty decent hazy NEIPA, Guiyang body with notes of citrus, finishes hoppy and a touch floral. 4/5 * Tenant - Bitter/Best 4.1% ABV - Very nice sweet malty bitter, notes of toasted bread, slightly toasted peanut, finishes appropriately dry and somewhat mildly bitter. 4/5 * Mr. Words Is A Monster - Pilsner/Other 5.5% - Interesting XPA, crisp body, hint of orange peel finishing hoppy, hint of pine and black pepper. 4/5 * I Am A Donut - Sour - Berliner Weisse 4.2% - Light bodied sour, fruity body with notes of sweet mango. 4/5 * Notice Me Senpai - Porter - Imperial / Double 8.1% - Tasty porter with notes of dark chocolate, English toffee and roasty coffee, almost creamy body finishing dry. 4/5 In general all the beer I indulged in were good, I think this is probably the best brewery I tried in my recent trip to New Orleans. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I could tell this was a local spot - I engage in conversation with a few of the patrons and they mostly lived nearby. This is a top-notch hangout with a great local vibe.

This brewery is right on Decatur with a couple of tables in front good for watching the traffic coming through. There's also a patio in the back with plenty more seating options. Unlike most breweries, I don't think Courtyard has a signature beer, there are no standards Jucifer or Paradise Park. They just make new stuff all the time, then run out of it, and brew something else. I think I have seen Sonic Youth in 1983 there more than once so maybe that's the closest thing. Regardless I am saying this as a good thing because every time I go, there is something knew. Courtyard is like the ultimate dive bar of breweries. There is a pop-up style kitchen that has held a variety of eateries over the years that used to include Burger Nerds and now has a taco place. There is mismatch furniture throughout the indoors and front courtyard. Most of the seating looks like they robbed a daycare. There is a couple of tv's, a piano, bullfighting art, an eclectic record collection and tons of plants outside. All of this gives Courtyard it's charm. The walk there was pretty easy...I was concerned it might get a little dicey by the interstate underpass but it really didn't. My bar is usually pretty low for breweries because they are usually run on a shoestring by a group of guys that really love beer but don't always know how to run a business. This place is a weird, eclectic vibe. The furniture and overall vibe is pretty dumpy. The bar is even super wobbly. The beer list they have online indicating it is their current list was in no way related to the beer selection they actually had available. It was super limited with a lot of IPAs and sours. Not my jam. The is a food vendor on site as well; they have burritos, quesadillas, etc. it looked okay, but i wasn't in the mood for Mexican style food. Overall, it's fine. I like to try new places.
