Ordered take-out. Had a 10 minute drive back to our hotel and the pizza was ice cold when we opened the box. Makes me wonder how long it was sitting before they actually brought it to the bar. Wings were ok, knots were good. Salad was $14 and we got exactly three bites out of it and it tasted moldy... maybe it was the Kalamata olives that do not belong in a Caesar salad??? or perhaps it was the thick mayo dressing that was served with it, I guess we'll never know. Ordered a cocktail at the bar. Asked if house gin was OK, but charged me the same as Hendricks. Kind of disappointing. Would not recommend, will not be returning read more

We really wanted to enjoy our traditional Friday Night Pizza...wherever we are. We walked in and were "greeted" with "good luck"! The server hurried around us with a heavy sigh. I understand busy tourist spots, but this gal needs a refresher on customer service and kindness. We tried the special, BarBQ Chicken Pizza, and it was delicious! Very thin handmade crust, perfect sauce - not too sweet, not too spicy - just enough chicken and some roasted garlic. Excellent! Just had the best lasagna we've ever eaten. Even better than what I can make. And a caprese salad which we shared. Place was packed (New Years Eve) with endless people streaming in but the young girl who seemed to be filling all the jobs was friendly and quick to get us a table. We grabbed takeout from Ports while in the area for thanksgiving. We got an "Allo speck" pizza and a bolognese pasta dish- both were mediocre. Not bad, but not great either. The pizza was bland and the dough didn't seem fresh or crisp (the kind of crust you really have to tear at with your teeth when you're near the end). We put some of the Bolognese from our pasta on to the pizza slices as we ate them to add flavor. Told us that putting tables together was a "fire hazard" we stood by the door waiting to see what could be done and then got told not to stand there because we were in the way of them. Came here over the summer. I had both the margherita pizza and the tomoato/mozzarella salad. Divine. I was glad they had outdoor seating because the music they were playing inside was really loud (lunch)- our 7 year old was not a fan of that. But we enjoyed the weather outside and the delicious food. And when we find ourselves in Boothbay again, which I hope will be every summer, we will return for sure! read more

So I really wanted to like it, but it was a miss for me. Part of it is my fault for ordering takeout. I think this is the type of pizza best eaten straight from the oven. I saw pizzas coming out when I was there and they looked good. It took about 20 min to find parking in their very limited lot. The workers were all very busy but friendly. I also got a Caesar salad that had mozzarella cheese and olives along with 5 croutons. Keep the olives and mozz and just add some parm to keep it argue Caesar salad. Dressing also Ho hum. For the size and composition, I think $10 is a little steep but I get that it's a touristy area.
