For our most recent trip, we reserved a 15-passenger van months in advance. The manager even called beforehand to confirm the reservation. When we arrived, there was no van--and no plan to provide one. Our entire day had to be reorganized at the last minute, scrambling to find parents to transport our youth group to its service projects. Later that same week, Enterprise failed to honor a second reservation. Two vans were sitting on the lot, but the manager told us they were being given to another customer because they "rented more often." Once again, we were forced to scramble to keep the trip from falling apart. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. Vehicle returns routinely aren't checked in unless you insist they do it while you wait. On one occasion, it took nearly two weeks--and intervention from Enterprise corporate--to get our deposit refunded. We filed two complaints with corporate and were promised a "rapid and satisfactory resolution." Nothing happened. This location used to be well managed. Today, it is unreliable, unprofessional, and impossible to trust. Reservations are meaningless, commitments are not honored, and customer service disappears when there is a problem. We will never rent from this location again, and we've encouraged our church community to do the same. After sharing our experience, several members told us they had experienced similar problems.

No one here obviously has heard of a compact suv and told me I don't get the rental from the photo as if I was born yesterday. I explained I never go by the photo I go by the class of what I want, I'm not an idiot who thinks you book the exact car in photo. Usually we book a compact SUV with free upgrade to regular suv. They said yes I was upgraded economy to full size car. No economy SUV! They seemed to not understand a compact suv was not a regular compact car. Telling me there's no such thing as a compact suv as I'm like yes a Hyundai venue or similar as they're like you don't get the car from the photo. Arguing with these idiots will get you nowhere as they couldn't grasp the concept so I finally said just give us the suv & we'll argue after the rental with actual company. When we're back home not tired after a flight & been sitting in the airport for an hour. Not to mention all these poor people behind us waiting and a poor guy next to us arguing with them about something similar. Arrived to "no cars" and "no reservation" despite having paperwork and confirmation in hand. They flatly refused to help resolve the situation. Their sister location (airport -- same franchise, apparently) was just as bad. They complained that Hertz corporate shouldn't be sending customers to them. (Yes, while wearing a Hertz uniform and standing under a Hertz sign.) Finally coughed up a dirty car after an hour wait. Charged the wrong card (not the one I *handed* them) and surreptitiously changed the rate to charge mileage (vs. original unlimited plan). Every question/ask for help was responded to with "We're a franchise: we refuse to help you." And Hertz corporate was just as bad... "They are a franchise: they can do whatever they want (or don't want)."
