THE WORST NAIL SALON I BEEN TO! I have came here with my cousin to get our nails done and I ended up hating my nails. They were thick. Some of the top coat was partially missing from some of my nails. The length and shape was not what I asked for and I ended up paying $80 for it. I don't care how much I pay for my nails but if you're going to charge me for everything, you should tell me I'm being charged for getting long nails, even though I didn't end up getting the shape I wanted. My thumb nails aren't even the same size! Just the worst experience, I even called to let them know and they wanted me to come back and fix it... I don't even trust yall UPDATE: today is Sunday, July 05th, and I got my nails done this past Thursday and they are ALREADY lifting. Such a shame. I even called to have them explain my price for my nails and it was a mess. Basically, I paid $80 for a crappy nail job; which they offered to fix but I'd rather take my business somewhere else. $45 for acrylics(typical), $20 extra for gel, $10 for long nails(not even the length I wanted, and they charged my for two color polish, and for the 4 clear tips.... I was recommended by my friends to come see Kelly over everyone else in Nashville and I was super excited to book my appointment. When I did, I was confirmed and when it came time to the appointment, turns out Kelly does not do pedicures (bummer), so they put me with someone else. The tech was nice enough and did a great food massage but when she was done painting my nails I noticed that my big toes looked chunky and uneven, color wise. I waited for a good 15 minutes to see if it would level out but when it didn't and no one approached me I went to the owner to see if I could get them fixed. Kelly was super concerned and got my tech to come back immediately. When she showed up she looked annoyed that I asked to have them fixed and pretended she didn't see the issue. Nonetheless, she "fixed" my nails and by that point I was really annoyed and ready to leave. I finally got the courage to inspect them when I got home hours later and just as expected...they weren't good. The polish was a bit better but layers were slapped on so you could see that she didn't take the polish up to the top each time and the top coat....OH MY GOD...literally globbed on and the kicker is that it doesn't cover the whole toe. The sides are completely missing. I literally never leave bad reviews but this was kinda insane. If I asked nicely to fix it, wouldn't you want to actually fix the issue?? I get that it could have also been a bad polish but as a tech I feel like she should have said Im sorry, I can't do a good job with this polish since it's old or too chunky, could you pick another color?? I feel awful sharing my experience because the owner literally seemed so sweet and she cared so much but apparently her techs didn't. P.S. That "scuff" isn't scuff because the top coat is smooth on top, so it must have been there before it was polished with a top coat. read more

I am a hair stylist and I get dip powder when Kelly does them they are perfectly shaped and will not lift unless I go three weeks or longer and that's with my hands in water A LOT. They are never bumpy at all. Kelly is very friendly, she works fast too! She's never burned me with the drill or nicked my skin at all. She's able to get me in in a timely manner and when I do make an appointment with her she runs on good time. The salon is clean and I do see that they use all the sanitary equipment needed. I patronize and believe in paying for a job well done... I KNOW you can get the same job, friendliest staff, clean establishment and good work at a fair price. Yes prices have gone up but this is highway robbery for what I paid for... money is not an issue ... however I literally paid DOUBLE for a mani and a pedi that will only last 2 weeks..... if you are fine with giving your hard earn money away ... then by all means visit this establishment... they will make it worth every hard earned buck... otherwise choose a place whose prices don't sink your pockets.... You need to do better with your pricing it's horrible... Update: less then 24 hours later My pedicure, not with the price ... once I got home .. I had the worst and most expensive pedicure of my life yesterday. This is the first online review I've ever written because I usually think there are circumstances that the customer doesn't always see. This was unacceptable though. The nail tech was a man who was haphazardly going through the steps. It didn't seem like he cared how he did the polish or didn't know how. Some of my toes aren't fully covered in polish and the rest have polish on the skin around the nails. I'm so disappointed that a business would sell services like this. The other shocker was the price of $70. I chose the $40 basic pedicure but it cost an extra $30 for gel and gel removal. I was a regular at this salon. The quality was honestly not the best but it was familiar. I recently went in and experienced the most rude and unprofessional encounter with one of the nail techs. She told me that a simple, super short french dip set would be $100!! That is insane and price gouging at its worst. I told her I came here alot and get the same thing and never pay that much. And that price made absolutely no sense. She also refused to NOT use a drill or give me a manicure for my nail health. They tried to take advantage of me. Felt very racist. Of course, the owners wife (who I usually get serviced by and always TIP) sided with the employee. They then proceeded to brush me off, laugh in my face and speak about me in their native language which I of course could not understand. I will never be back. My normal nails salon was closed so I came here and asked if I could get a gel polish change and manicure in an hour and the man said yes of course, instead of taking his full hour he rushed through and my nails look like I got them done 2 weeks ago. He didn't go all the way down my nail so the tips of some look chipped and he began so far away from my cuticle I'll have to get my nails redone next week. Do not go here. I wish I would have read the reviews and seen the previous photos posted. I am shocked at the terrible service I received. I had 3 different "nail techs" work on my dip manicure. The nails look so awful and I'm embarrassed to have paid $55 for this. But the people that should be truly embarrassed are the owners and techs that work in this salon. If you want to hate your nails, waste your time and money, contribute to terrible business practices then come to this nail salon. You can blame my small nail beds but the work speaks for itself. This is based in my experience. Well my nails look fine but it shouldn't have been such a battle. I went in yesterday with a picture and asked if it could be done explained I was new in the area and had never been in before and it was for my wedding. Lady says it would be easy and they could do it. Highly recommended the place( of course). When I went it today it was a whole different story. Had to elaborately explain what I wanted 4 times and got the old man owner with rough hands who wasn't gentle. And didn't put the paint to the corner of my nails or make them smooth I finally explained to him this was for my wedding and it was my first time in he had a younger guy with gentle hands do it. He was better but when he went to put the silver on looked like a 5 year old was painting it on which I don't understand because everything else he did was very precise and good. I decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. Over 2 hours there and got charged full price. Nobody who walks in and says they are getting their nails done for their wedding should be treated like this. It was the one part of my day that I was supposed to be pampered not stressed. And I got charged $100 for it. Not worth it. I wouldn't call what I got a French with no pink just paint the tip of your nail white. Management I made an appointment for today and my name and number are in your books.
