Immediately was ask to sanitize my hands as I waited I noticed I was the only one who was require to sanitize my hands as mostly of there customers are Caucasian and was not asked as they enter to do so . They gave me a price for pedicure and manicure and after I was done they change the price higher then what they gave me . They have a sister nail salon on the other side of town that I regularly go to and will not be going back to them as well. read more

There is a nail shop on every corner so customer service and quality of work is what separates you from everywhere else. I went to this location twice. My second time being a second chance before I place judgement. When you walk in, no one says hello or anything. Keeping in mind everyone can see you walk in. They have a tablet that you check in on and if your new you have no idea what to do because you have never been there before and no one says anything. So as I am waiting I see several people do what I did, stand at the counter looking stupid until someone finally decides to acknowledge you. The service was just okay, if that. I had a different person both times and I wasn't excited about my nails when they finished but they were done. It could be that the regulars know the good ones so that's who they get but how can I become a regular when you give me just okay. Because again there are so many nail place and I have found another place that does an amazing job for the same price range. I do think that the point system that have is great but my points were deleted magically from the first time so I was set back to zero. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had getting acrylics. When I first sat down I showed the lady a picture of the shape and length of the nail I wanted. Not only did she cut the nails WAY too short, she did a completely different shape from the one I asked for. Additionally, I asked for a matte top coat on four fingers, excluding the ring finger on both hands, making sure I specifically indicated I DID NOT WANT it on my ring fingers and she still put a matte top coat on them. Only after the other employee told her I did not want a matte coat on those fingers, she went back and fixed them. Additionally, because those fingers I didn't want the matte top coat on were painted with a glitter polish, the glitter from those nails got all over the nails that were actually supposed to be matte. The lady was also VERY careless with the nail drill and hit my skin several times, making this also one of the most painful experiences I've ever had. Maybe it was just this lady because my friend asked for the same thing and hers turned out great, but definitely not worth paying $40 for a crappy nail job if there's the risk you'll get stuck with someone who does a bad job. I have gone to this salon off and on for over a year now. A girl from work referred me and it's close to home. Mani-pedis have always been ok. Never fabulous. Today, I was a walk-in and I asked if the girl who did my gel nails 3 weeks ago was in. She was but she was busy and I didn't want to offend the girl that started my nails. Ends up, she traded me with the girl I asked about. At first, I was happy about it but then she proceeded to talk in her native tongue, loudly, to the coworker next to us and a few others. She was obviously upset about having to do my pedicure. Even the woman next to me gave me a look that said "what the heck? ". It was hard to relax with all of the chatter. She was really rough too. Made a big deal about the skin left from the cheese grater after she used it on my feet. And never once looked up at me or tried to be nice. Not sure if she was talking about me or just complaining to her coworkers but it really was unprofessional. My gel manicure was quiet but she made no attempts to be friendly. I was merely a task she had to complete. Very disappointed. I had almost went to a different salon but she had done such a nice gel mani for my vacation. I gave it one more shot. Won't make that mistake again. I will say, I don't think this salon is as clean or well-run as it has been in the past. When i walked in it was very crowded and had the typical nail salon awkwardness of not knowing who to talk to, lots of people staring at you, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when I told one of the workers that I had an appointment with Tim. It took about a minute for her to sit me down with him and he did a great job! The store was just a little crowded and cramped, but he did amazing. I got powder OP61. Took an hour and fifteen minutes exactly & cost $45! Great location with a Starbucks right across the street. :) Remember to bring cash for a tip as tipping with card isn't accepted. This nail salon is my new go-to. They do a great job with nails, I find the salon to be very clean, and they typically have plenty of nail technicians working so that even when there is a wait, it's not very long. Some other things I like about Posh? For those who like a matchy-matchy set of traditionally polished toes and gel manicured fingernails, they have polish pairs available for you to choose from. They also use disposable plastic covers in the foot baths that are changed out after each pedicure for extra cleanliness. Everyone is very friendly and the salon is super bright and airy. The question is, why *wouldn't* I go here? Note that they only take cash tips. There is an ATM at the bank at the end of the shopping center, but it charges a hefty service fee. Not a great experience. They push your feet back into the water. I don't require a shove to put my feet back into the water. I was sitting at the dryer station and artificial nails were shooting at me from the next table over. The lady who worked on my friend literally asked for a tip. They take cash only for tips. I came here specifically for dip powder nails and was greatly disappointed. I made an appointment and sat for 15 minutes. I know this is normal at a busy salon, but then I sat at my chair. Three different nail technicians attempted to removed my previous dip manicure, and failed. By the end of it there was nail polish and acetone all down my hands. I had to ask to wash them, otherwise they were just going to continue. While filing my nails, still amongst multiple technicians, the man cut my cuticle and proceeded to put acetone on it. Finally, a different woman from my other technicians came over to do my actual nails. She told me dip would take another 45 minutes, so I opted for gel. My whole purpose of going to Posh Nails was defeated. All in all, don't waste your time. There are plenty of other nail salons that do gel manicures and even dip. read more

I really wanted to like this place because its close to home and provides an adorable atmosphere. I made an appointment for a dip manicure and my nail tech wasn't overly friendly from the start. She used a file that was way too harsh - she kept filing my skin, and even after I pulled back and told her it was uncomfortable she continued doing the same on my other nails. My nails looked pretty by the end of the uncomfortable experience, but four of them started chipping the next day and the skin around my nails is still raw from the filing. It's a week later and my nails look like they haven't been touched up in a month. I've never had my nails chip this quickly with dip. I would not recommend. read more

This is probably the worst pedicure I've ever had in my life. When I walked in the staff didn't greet me. I stood there looking awkward for a few minutes before someone said "whadya want?" I explained just a pedicure and it was almost like they were annoyed to have me there. They really didn't even scrub my feet, I still have dead skin. They wayyyy over-trimmed my toenails. During this whole experience silence, nobody asked how my day was or anything. Ridiculous. They were on the phone the whole time. Sooooo rude. OH THE TOE DIVIDERS WERE USED. I had to ask for new ones stg. I couldn't even enjoy the massage chair. I paid $52 just for a basic pedicure with gel it was way too expensive for what bad service I received. Second time I give this place a try and it's the second time I leave disappointed. The guy was nice and polite but should not be doing nails. He really hurt me digging into my big toe (and I am not that sensitive). He was very rushed b/c they were busy - never stopped to ask me what kind of pedicure I want to have, also didn't ask me how long I'd like to keep my toe nails. I gave this salon 2 tries to see if my first experience was just a fluke but I think not. I went to have dip nails removed and the tech basically ripped them off my nails. I never had them before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It hurt terribly. my daughter was furious when I told her how they did it. Also I asked for just a regular manicure two times and she did gel!! so of course it cost me more. I couldn't understand what she said to me and my tech and the tech sitting next to us with another customer talked to each other the whole time. It was so annoying. Very nice and clean nail salon. The owner is very professional and will make sure you're taken care of. I had a small issue with one of my nails, noticed later that night, so I went back 2 days later and she quickly fixed it and was very attentive to my needs. My only complaint is every time I go here I get charged a different amount. I always get the same exact service but somehow end up paying a different amount each time. My fill in's range from 26-29 (too high in my opinion but ok). My new set and take off ranges from 37-40 (regular polish, no gel). Weird. My nails are always the same so I wish there would be consistency when it comes to pricing but other than that I am pleased with their work and will continue to come. read more

The experience here was extremely poor. I went in for a gel mani/pedicure and my friend went in for a pedicure. The pedicures were the worst we have ever had. His pedi lasted AT BEST 7 minutes. Mine was not much longer and was only b/c they painted my nails. There was no trimming/shaping of nails, nor was there any decent callus removal. The pedicurist rubbed a stone back and forth about 4 times. The manicure was not much better. There was minimal shaping of my nails and the gel applied was peeling off within 48 hours. read more

I tried Posh Nails during my lunch hour since it is near my work. I went in first on a Thursday but they seemed busy and I said I'd come back the next day during my lunch and they took my name. First, on a positive note, they honored my reservation. I showed up at noon exactly and there were three ladies waiting but they sat me down first. I had to wait maybe 5 minutes for someone to finish up and they came to help me. The girl who did my nails had me in and out in 25 minutes which was nice because it was my lunch hour and wanted to get back. That's where the positives end. First, I asked her to cut my nails down and she did, but they were uneven. All the nails were different lenghts (even though they could have been easily the same leght). She rounded some of them off a bit but then some were blunt and they are not uniform. Some nails aren't even straight across the top. She also used the drill to file them down which I'm not a fan of. After she finished filing them, she never cleaned them before applying the polish. She ended up flooding two of my nail beds and never cleaned them up. I could have painted my own nails and had fewer flooded nail beds. The total cost of the gel mani was 30, which was reasonable. You can get a coupon in the Market District behind them for 3 dollars off. They only take cash tips which I always think is sketchy, but it is what it is. I guess they were quick which was nice and they honored my appointment, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

I don't normally write reviews, especially negative ones. As a matter of fact, this is my first ever review on Yelp. But I feel the need to warn future customers that they may not be getting what they're paying for here. There is one technician in particular that I'm reviewing negatively and his name is Andy. I do not know how in the world this guy still has a job at this salon (maybe he's a family member of an employee or owner?). But he has done my nails twice now, both times he has rushed through the job, even complaining when I wanted a little bit of glitter added to my nails. Like it's not his job or something...? I just think $50 for my acrylic fill and gel manicure goes a lot further at other salons, with much better treatment from employees. I give two stars (as opposed to one), because I don't think every employee/technician provides this negative of an experience. Plus I think the overall decor and atmosphere is inviting and comforting. I know other people have complained about this particular employee while I was in the salon getting my own nails done. I would gladly raise the rating if this employee was let go, the fact that the owner has not done so yet makes me think they don't care about their customers as much as they should. If you want to try this salon out, by all means please go ahead and do so. Just ask for any technician besides Andy, and maybe you'll have better luck. read more

Second time I've been, bad experience both times. I simply asked for a fill in. It took forever, especially when i asked for no polish because I was in a rush. I told her I had already filed my nails down to the length i wanted before and she misunderstood and filed them down short. Again, asking for no polish, i was annoyed that without my consent she started applying clear gel polish so that she could charge me for it. Terrible service! My nail tech couldn't stop yawning the entire time she "did" my nails. She hardly did anything to my nails. She didn't cut them, she scraped an emery board across them a few times.
