Highly recommend, the food and the service is top notch! The bar has excellent craft cocktails as well.

Great new place to eat & drink. Started with the "Brown Derby" cocktail, which was a great start. Ordered the chicken & brie pizza, plus the snapper, both which were excellent. 1/2 hour to receive wrong drinks. An hour before we touched food. 1 of 4 appetizers received after everyone was finished. Waiters walking around with onion soup looking for takers . It was comical. Bill wrong 2x. Offered to take appetizers off and instead added food we never ordered. Paid full bill. Waiter writes nothing down and it shows. Food was good but who cares at that point. read more

On December 2nd I had dinner with my family. I ordered the Chicken Madeira and it was not that good. It was very dry. Had to wait for more sauce to put over the food. My suggestion if you order that dish ask for extra sauce? Or order something else!! read more

My wife and I tried Post Kitchen & Bar last night. We went for the Lobster special. They offered two different types of lobster so we each ordered a different one and shared. Both were delicious. Had the pleasure of taking a group of 20 to Post last Sunday. Marley, Sean and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating to us! Many of the group who had never tried Post before, became instant fans! Fun bar, modern decor, friendly staff and fabulous food are what you can expect to find there! Me and my wife went Friday night, The place is beautiful, we sat outside. The server was very attentive and friendly. They have a good selection of whiskey and cocktails. I ordered Espresso old fashioned, and my wife got Spicy Pineapple Margarita ! They both were very good, also we tried lobster salad , steak frites and Post burger , also very tasty.They do have a brunch menu on Saturday, it looked good we will go back to try it! read more

Large group dinner and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The liver pate was excellent and the duck and pork chop were some of the best I have had. Other guests were very happy with the scallops and the snapper. Also recommend that you have Elise's bread pudding. Would highly recommend. read more

Last night my husband and I ate at Post Kitchen for the first time. It was its Tuesday Lobster Night. We both ordered the twin lobster tail dinners. The pre fixe meal comes with a choice of salads, mashed potatoes, and a few sprigs of asparagus, as well as dessert. Husband had the chopped salad, which was quite large and I had the grilled Caesar. We both enjoyed them. The lobster was very tasty and juicy. The mashed potatoes tasted very good as well and probably were made scratch. We each ordered a different desserts, but our personal preference was the creme brulee. The decor was upscale and attractive. The bar was very pretty, as was the patio. Our server, Josh, was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning soon. read more

Ok- I really wanted to leave this place just one star, however, our server was super nice and I feel bad for him so, for that, I'll give an extra star. The ambiance is very cool, as is the decor. I was genuinely hopeful and excited to try this place out. I ordered the short ribs, as did my sister in law. The way the food was plated...I was excited to try it when I was served. However, upon closer inspection, I saw the beef didn't quite look right(did not look tenderized) but- the only way to know for sure was to try it and, man, was I disappointed. The beef was tough. It tasted.... 'Gamey'. Strange aftertaste. I took a second bite and realized something was very wrong. Not only did I have this reaction- my sister in law was staring at her own are and when she looked over at me, she said that hers didn't taste right. Needless to say, we both sent the entrees back and we both ordered different replacement dishes. Those were also disappointing, however, not concerning like the first dish. I understand they're just opening but- there are some fundamental things you just can't fix. Moreover, the prices are way too much for such poor quality, conflicting flavors, and gamey-tasting meat. I don't recommended The Post and fear they won't be around long. I know I won't be back. read more

Decided to have dinner here for the first time last night since it recently opened. We had an early reservation because of a prior commitment we had later that evening. When you first walk in, the ambience is great. Very modern and clean restaurant, also has really great decor. My fiancé and I were a little disappointed with our experience, however, after we sat down. We ordered our cocktails and they ended up taking 20 minutes - we were a little surprised it took so long because there weren't a lot of people there when we were (since it was still early in the evening). Our waitress did not come back in the time she said hello and took our drink orders, to when she came back with our drinks. It would have been nice if she came by while we were waiting to apologize for the delay, or ask we want to order an appetizer while we waited. My fiancé ordered the Mushroom Bisque for his starter which was absolutely delicious! He ordered the Chicken Madeira for his entree, but the chicken was very dry and over cooked, and it wasn't even warm. I ordered the Truffle Pasta and it was okay, but just didn't have any flavor from the truffles as I had hoped for. The shoestring french fries as a side were fantastic, though! I'm assuming there are just a few delays and hiccups as they just opened and are getting the hang of things. I'm sure, and hope, that the service and quality will improve, as it is not inexpensive. read more

Still new and working out the wrinkles .My wife had the chicken Marsala and liked it. I had the steak frites at $38. Not great and not worth the money. Service was good, but it appeared that the servers weren't really sure what sections they covered. We checked in at the desk and were seated outside. Some people came I after us and went right to an outside table and were served before us, again it was just some confusion on the new staff. The outside/inside bar is nice, but fills up fast. Valentines Day. We have eaten here several times good food so we made a reservation for this night. We were not told until we got to the restaurant that it was a special menu. At $80 a person this was not a good meal at all. It tasted good but a 5 oz steak and a 1/2 a lobster tail and one claw was a joke. The red snapper here is to die for I might add. But I will miss it now. We got hosed and could have left even the waiter explained his displeasure in the menu but at 8:00pm where else could you go for Valentines Dinner. Our first visit when they had just opened was great & we enjoyed it so much, we went back last week with out of town guests. The second time was a disaster. The service was atrocious, our server kept forgetting what we needed and then disappeared totally. The cocktails were disappointing and the food was cold. I have been 2x. First was good we ordered the burrata / tomato flat bread it was delish, a burger which was also Good. Margarita were good after a sighed tweak. They were very busy. It felt exciting to have a new place. Nice outside / inside seating/ the bar is nice but wasted space With a seafood display - recommend moving it and adding more seats. Hard to serve us over the case and not enjoyable looking at a moving lobster. Revisited and was sadly disappointed. Served rainbow roll (sushi) a plate of Salt rocks looks nice but not fun when one is attached to you food and it goes in your mouth. Ordered fried oysters they were not good. Tasted fishy and spinach undercooked We ordered 2 grilled Caesar with chicken. Had this the first time it was good. This time tasted like a dirty grill. Chicken was good. We also Ordered a side of shoe string fries / not hot they need to be served piping hot. I will try it again - new restaurant need to find their rhythm - so when I do I will post a new review. My husband and I have been here twice. We are big foodies, and honestly a little more picky than probably most, and are looking for nice atmosphere, great food and service. This restaurant is beautiful and has a fantastic outdoor patio and bar area. This is an upscale restaurant, so don't expect to get Glory Days prices, though their food is pretty good also. We ordered appetizers and cocktails and both were great. We had shrimp cocktail (head shells come with them for presentation only) and crab with crostinis, both were great. Atmosphere was wonderful and the bar staff spot on. Not sure why this place has received some low reviews, we loved it and will be back! read more

I have been impatiently waiting for The Post to open for what seems like forever. I finally got to try it tonight. We had reservations for 6:00. I arrived at 5:45, and they were already very busy. I was immediately seated at a booth by the bar. I really like how it was open to the outside since it was nice out. We started with the crab and cheese dip appetizer. It was excellent. They didn't give enough bread with it, but we asked the server for more. She brought us more bread with no issue. I had the braised short rib entree. I wish I had taken a picture because it was a beautiful presentation. Instead, I dug right in. I'm sad to say there were no leftovers. I had such a hard time deciding what to order. I can't wait to go back and try something else. read more

We decided to try Post while family was in town. The restaurant inside is beautiful, but the food is another story. We asked for bread and were told they didn't have any. The menu is extremely limited and quite pricey. I figured with the menu being so limited the food would be out of this world. I was very wrong. The food overall was bland and not cooked correctly. 2 people at my table sent their food back because it didn't taste right The service was really good, but that was about it. After dinner we got coffee and that wasn't even hot! It was barely warm. When we got the check I couldn't believe my eyes on how expensive it was. Bottom line is if you are going to have a limited menu with high prices you better make sure the food is out of this world. I will definitely not be going back. I understand they are working things out, but that was a very expensive meal and no one was satisfied. read more
