We have rented a box here for over one year. The online service is pretty convenient. But recently Elizabeth (the owner) went above and beyond in customer service. Some mail had been missed in the box when we came in to collect it. When we reached out, Elizabeth checked, came in after hours, found it, and made it right, staying late so we could get it in time. I have to occasionally get my fingerprints done for my job. This is the most convenient location. Every time I am there, I am reminded how much they up-sell their office supplies. They clearly buy everything from Dollar Tree (Jot brand products) but sell them at 100% profit. EXCEPT in the case of a pack of pens they buy at Dollar Tree and sell each for $2.99, which is almost 20 times the price of one pen! I also know that truckers often don't have the luxury of shopping around, so they have to accept their prices. Literal highway robbery! Stay clear if you are able! read more

I come here with students for fingerprinting twice yearly, and we are always greeted and quickly served and done. Today was exceptional--while we had appointments, the business was actually closed. I had a really poor experience of having my mail misplaced, told it may have been shredded and then told that it was sent back to sender. The mail involved checks that are hard to track back down. Nothing to help solve it moving forward other than saying it won't happen again. read more

I came to Postal Place back in July for fingerprinting. I tried to be understanding as there were several customers and the phone was ringing throughout my appointment, and I'm sensitive to the fact that things were piling up. The employee who helped me was rushing through my fingerprints, and when I tried to correct her when she scanned the wrong finger, she told me it was okay, she was just going quickly. Unsurprisingly, my fingerprints were illegible for my background check and I had to return today to have another set taken. The clerk today was extremely professional, diligent, and thorough, and I'm more hopeful that this fingerprinting will be successful. A ho-hum customer experience and a good customer experience = 3 stars. Not great, but too convenient for me to seek services elsewhere. read more

Sketchy practices! I actually was just trying to get my TSA precheck at another company in this strip mall. They have signs up saying to enter to this postal shop to get to the TSA pre check. The girl at the counter let me know that the TSA spot requires mask, and that I could buy ONE SINGLE PAPER MASK for $2, but they require a $5 minimum to use a card. So they're trying to get $5 out of you for something that stores usually hand out for free, AND they aren't even affiliated with the place that requires masks. Ridiculous!! The least they could do is charge a reasonable price for it, or sell larger mask packs. Whoever manages this place is just cash grabbing - I wouldn't trust them for any of their services. read more

We rented a postal box here for the minimum of $163 for six months. One hour later, we changed our mind because we were able to secure a po box with USPS for $53. We called immediately to cancel & ask for a refund. We were told that only the owner could issue a refund, but then were told she was out when we called. Finally, several days later, she was finally in the store, but she refused our refund. Told us that was in the paperwork we signed. Pretty good scam they have going on there... read more

I'm not sure if i caught this person on bad day, but the customer service was a joke if not borderline hostile. When I first came in I greeted him with a "Hello Sir" (6 years of military and also just because its common manners) only to be mocked by him. I was there to send a damaged item back to the manufacture (which was paid by them). He got increasingly hostile and rude to the fact I was wasting his time with free shipping... He made sure to let me know how much I was inconveniencing him when I asked to use some of His tape and his scissors. During my 3min in his little shop.... He made also sure to give me a lecture on how buying crap on the internet always results with people bringing items back to his store to be sent back.... Yeah I was there to send one item back (and you didn't get money from me), but you are also the closet postal annex to my work and I had planned on using your store quite often for my personal shipping... But there is a fat chance in that ever happening. Oh and on my way out I saw you offer Notarizing.... I need a place to get that done as well. Think I'll look somewhere else. Like I said I don't know if this was just a bad day or if he really is like that to other people, but he needs to take a serious look in the mirror and reevaluate if a job with customer service is what he wants to do. read more

I have been going to this place a few years now since it's close. Basic mail stuff like dropping off envelopes nothing special. Today I took two first class envelopes in (each with 2 pages in them) and wanted to send them both certified mail. they charged me $26.46 for both pieces (13.23 each). Leaving I was thinking this was a awful lot. Sitting in the car I looked up USPS and how much certified mail should cost. It said $3.25 so I went back in to speak to the manager and she said that's what the post office charge them(which was a lie) I called the post office office and was told it was $3.75 and the postal places make up their own prices..What a rip off this place is. They just lost me as a customer..Don't give them your money just go to the post office. Wish I could give them a big fat ZERO read more

Recently I was at this place and had to make some copies. When I walked in there was one man in front of me and in a few minutes he asked me what I needed. He told me that the self copy machines were what I should use and did I need help. I said yes and he told me he'd be there in a few minutes. So I waited over by the machine and he never came. It wasn't like he was really busy. There were actually two or three people behind the counter and none of them appeared to want to help the customers. This place is really gone downhill since FedEx took over Kinko's. Too bad. read more

I am a regular repeat customer for the past 10 yrs. with only favorable things to say. I dont know what some of the previous reviews are about. Probably just more useless internet spam made possible by review sites like Yelp. Seems like every D*Bag with a computer or axe to grind can feel important nowadays. Well, my experience is different. All of my shipping from Postal Place has been accompanied by a reciept and with tracking information. I have used the computer, fax, and maili delivery service as well on a regular basis. Beware! They put the wrong address on the UPS label, and then refused the return delivery when it came back to them! So the package which was very important sat in UPS lost-and-found for two weeks before I sorted out the mess myself. They were no help with this, even though it was their mistake. read more

Like Kyle G., I found the proprietor rude and hostile. When I dropped off a prepaid Fedex package, he asked what was in the box. It seemed like a joke, so I laughed, but he wasn't joking, and when he asked again and didn't get an answer, he told me that this was about security - it might contain drugs or explosives - that if I ever ran a business I'd know this, and that I should take the box somewhere else. I've shipped a few Fedex packages from Postal Place over the last year, and this fellow always seemed to turn sour when he saw a prepaid package (no profit in it for him) but the hostility and the impromptu security question were both new. Apparently the bad day Mr. Hostile was having when Kyle G. was there on 6/19/2015 turned into three bad months. There's another shipping center, just a few blocks farther from my house, so my problem was solved ten minutes later. The problem at Postal Place will take much longer to solve.
