$39.99 for a small roll of bubble wrap that is $10 at staples. That is, in a nutshell, the sentiment of the experience I had.

DO NOT COME HERE! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!! I needed a vacuum shipped and already had a prepaid label. First he doesn't tell me it's an $1.00 charge to make a SMALLER COPY. Mind you I already had a perfect prepaid label to use. That was the first nickel and dime charge. THE SECOND CHARGE WAS A " LABOR CHARGE of $10 dollars!!!! When I went to pay Ravi the owner of the store didn't tell me of these charges. He just told me it was $38.45. So I tapped and when I tapped I saw the ridiculous charges of $1.00 and $10 to just put tape on a box. I went back and questioned him about this ridiculous charge and basically cussed me out and started yelling at me in the store. I asked for a refund and he refused to take either charge off! I told him I'd be doing a chargeback with my credit card company. I called the corporate number and I talked to man named Jim and he informed me that Ravi is very stingy with these charges. He also said he shouldn't be charging $10.00 to tape up a box. Overall Ravi gets a F on his customer service skills! I have already started a charge back with my credit card company . It was passport renewal time and found PostalAnnex+in Calabasas on Yelp. I called and was given all of the information I needed and how to complete the application online and print it to bring along (with necessary things to complete the process). Of course new photos are required...(no problem they're all set up and even show you the digital photo for your approval before printing it! Affordable too)! I was given easy instructions as well as application fee rates, renewal and expediting rates. Within literally a few minutes everything was completed and off and running. The store itself is clean, organized and has everything you need for any type of shipping (including a huge greeting card selection) and a 24 hour access mailboxes. Parking is easy too! Do not EVER send a valuable UPS package through Postal Annex. If you paid to insure the package and you have a claim, the shipper is Postal Annex and you will have NO way to claim directly with UPS if they fail to deliver!! Postal Annex is NOT a UPS office. They are a third party. Had I known any of this would have happened, there's no way I would have used Postal Annex. I sent three paintings to North Carolina in one package, and only two arrived. If that wasn't bad enough, Ravi in Calabasas had an awful attitude with me and refuses to cooperate with my claim. "I'm too busy to do this." He owes me the UPS settlement funds, and refuses to return my phone calls. I contacted Zak in San Diego, Postal Annex's headquarters and he was horrified with my story. read more

This place is great! I've been a box holder here for many many years! I've had nothing but good experiences with Ravi and Rita. This location is safe and has plenty of free parking. Besides having a mailbox here, I've used many of their other services as well; such as printing, making copies, etc. They offer packing and shipping services too. The owner, Ravi, is the hardest worker I have ever seen! Over the last 8 years, I have seen Ravi work tirelessly at his store. Everytime I go to pick up my mail and get my packages, he ALWAYS asks me to double check to be sure the package is mine. When I am sending mail out, he is always meticulously careful to be sure all details were typed in correctly. I haven't ever had one problem at this Postal Annex. Throughout Covid and after, Ravi has done an exceptional job keeping up with the increase of mail delivery, people returning more items etc. I don't think he ever takes a day off! He treats his customers with no respect and I am not surprised that he is losing customers all the time. So I went in here to make key copies and the first time I did the girl who was behind the desk seemed very lost and frantic even though she only had 2 customers. When I asked her to make copies of a set of keys I just bought, she did the amount wanted but half of them didn't work. Anyways, fast forward to today, I went to another Postal Annex where they also made keys and they messed up. So I decided instead of going back there I would re visit this place asking if i could just come by to get it fixed with a receipt so that I didn't have to pay again and all the guy told me was that they don't make keys...? I'm updating my previous review, which is as follows: I shipped a package to Canada. It did not get there. I made 2 phone calls to Ravi and 2 visits, also multiple emails to Canada UPS to track it and then ask for reimbursement. I have not been reimbursed the $46.86 it cost to send it. Ravi told me on each occasion that he could not reimburse me as he had already sent the money to UPS. Finally I called UPS and after being routed 3 times was told that Ravi had the claim paperwork and had not sent it back. All he needed to do was submit it, they would reimburse him and he would reimburse me. You may wonder why I spent all this time. Just made me very irritated that neither UPS not Ravi would do their job or accept responsibility. After this I told Ravi all he needed to do was send the paperwork. He told me he had already sent it and that they must have got it. He wasn't going to send it again. Here's the update. I went into Ravi's store again yesterday to drop a package. Asked him again to send the paperwork. He refused, told me he had done it and that it was *MY* fault that I hadn't got the money because I had asked him to claim it too late (not true according to UPS). I told him I had given him 1 star on Yelp. He asked me to leave his store. Then he thought a bit and said he would send the paperwork off if I would remove my review on Yelp! Bottom line: if your package gets there you are fine using this store. If it doesn't, don't expect any help from the owner, just reasons why it isn't his fault, delivered very rudely.
