It took a long time for the employee to process my package, having to do it several time before the scale worked. Then I get notification today that it took 23 hours to get it sent. If this package does not arrive before Christmas, Postal Annex is to blame. read more

Whatever you do avoid this place. They are either con artists who pull a bait and switch, charing you for expedited shipping but giving you standard, or they are incompetent. Either way, if you have a package you need to arrive by a certain time, it will not get there. When I tried to address this with them I was treated like human waste and then completely ignored. Now they send me emails despite my unsubscribing and requesting that they stop. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

Whow, talk about rip off, I've been coming here to mail certify letter for my work place the past year or so since it's closer to my work place instead of driving to the post office. The other day, on my way to the doctor office, I actually pass by a post office and decided to stop in to drop off the letters instead, 2/3 of what I've been paying at the postal annex. Everything we mail out is the same, same documents, 10 pages, going to the same place so it cannot be because of the size of the envelope etc... Taking into account that perhaps the brand of papers from previous times and this time might be different and caused the difference, but it cannot be $6 difference per envelope. Never again will I return to any of this place or any of their other locations. read more

Horribly over priced. I had my own pre paid shipping label, just needed to ship a hat which meant paying for a small shipping box. I normally use my own which I pay .39 for but I left at home. I also had to have them print up my shipping label up, which required me emailing it to them. I paid $9.00 for a box and for them to print my label. They charged me $2.00 labor to place hat inside box; with no other fillers and multiple other chargers for printing up a simple black and white shipping label. Needless to say, I'll never go back. read more

2 very nice, and very clueless ladies run this location. I needed 2 important documents scanned and emailed. The first 14 page doc was scanned, emailed and cc'd to my email. I opened it up and saw that the pages were horizontal. I asked her and she said oh, do you need it rescanned ? Um, yeah unless I want the recipient to print it out in landscape format. She did that and scanned the second doc. All good except that the second doc was never emailed. It didn't show up in my email box or the recipient's. By the time I realized this I was a few miles away so I stopped in the UPS store on Oceanside Blvd. they quickly, and professionally scanned and emailed the docs. AND, while I spent $20 for 20 pages at Postal Annex, their price would have been $12. Since I only needed 7 pages sent, the price was $5. Btw, the photos for this location are stock photos. The Oceanside location looks nothing like the professional store depicted. read more

Welllll.... I went to Postal Annex to ship several packages. A 1x4x4" package would have cost $20 at Postal Annex. I sent through the U.S. Post Office for $6. A 20 pound package at postal Annex would have been $53, at the U.S. Post Office it was about $16 in a pre made Priority Mail box. I did not use Postal Annex services and took the rest of my packages to the USPS. Postal Annex is a ripoff for mailing packages, 3-4 times the rates of USPS. I would not recommend their mailing service. Postal Annex also charged $5 for two small DVD type mailing boxes. They were free through Prority mail at the USPS. read more

Cute little post office very sweet very helpful they also notarize documents so win-win you have last minute gifts there a whole bunch from shirts two scarves to cups from Fox coloring book etc. etc. you can find anything in that store. In the back of the store there's also a room that has 50% off clearanceeverything was great the only negative thing I can say about it is that you have to be very careful if you have little children because there is a lot of knickknacks that are made out of glass but besides that excellent experience got my documents notarized right then and there in less than five minutes read more

Worst possible customer service ever....they will smile to your face and then gouge you double on price. Even after questioning the high cost they obfuscated the fact they they have a 100% plus markup. The flaunted the fact that is is their right to hide that fact and purposely not tell customers. read more

Beware using Postal Annex for services. I tried to send a fax that never went through, but when asked to have my money back, I was told that "All sales are final." I clearly didn't get what I paid for. I won't patronize this or any other Postal Annex store again. read more

Always a pleasant experience at this particular Postal Annex. But what makes me want to write this review is my last time shipping.. Which was my first time shipping a BULKY guitar amp. Not only did this thing weigh 48 pounds.. I had just came from the US Post Office after realizing they didn't have the proper packing materials I needed to ship something so fragile. After a day of stressing over how I'm going to ship the amp.. I finally go to Postal Annex. I knew it would cost more.. But I didn't know they would do ALL the packing for me. What a relief! This amp was my first sale on EBay and the item was very valuable to me and the buyer. Today I received a very kind email from the buyer in San Francisco, thanking me for making his Saturday so special by getting the amp so quick. He also said it was packed so good he didn't know if he was going to be able to get it out. Which is a great thing to hear! Stephanie helped me with EVERTHING and really made this an easy going experience, in the end. I recommend postal annex to anyone in need of shipping, we also have a mailbox here.. But they really shine with their great customer service and knowledge. Thanks again! read more

If I could chose a lesser rate, I would. As a long-time customer of this store, I was one of the friendliest of people knowing Karen and Stephanie and the other ladies that came and went throughout the 16 years I have been a Notory public, I am a closing agent and I use this service all the time. Imagine my surprise when Ryan the new manager apparently the owners' son informs me that I am no longer allowed to ask them for the Fed ex return envelopes that I use to return the documents to the lender. The lenders have fed ex and ups accounts. I do not have a personal or business account; I do not need one. For some reason, they are counting the amount of packages that you can leave with them. I used them all the time for 16 years with no mention of rationing something required to be able to use their service? Flabbergasting, but I am very busy. I used to walk in and one of the girls behind the counter would reach down And simply just handed to me. I did all the work otherwise and that was it and I walked out - it was the perfect situation. Now not only am I not allowed to ask for too many envelopes but he said I was rude because I asked them if I might be able to go behind the counter to get the envelopes I needed myself or apparently I have the gall to ask if they can just hand me an envelope while of course they're "waiting" literally on other customer - doing nothing - standing there...on Monday I walked in and the minute she saw me she said "be with you in a minute ma'am" once again I said thank you and she, savanna, another relative working there? is twiddling her thumbs waiting for the only other customer to fill out a facsimile document - she had every opportunity for two minutes to just reach down and give me an envelope and she made me wait by saying "be with you in a minute ma'am" in a very condescending tone of voice... I took one of their cards and tried to remember her name and then someone said her name and it was Ryan who had then come out and said He wanted to talk to me about me being rude!? I'm impatient, I'm rushed, but I'm never rude... As much money as I have spent on items in that store it's just flabbergasting to me that they would be so absurdly rude to one of their longtime customers who perhaps is in a rush sometimes especially at the end of the month when I'm very busy but I have never ever in my life been rude intentionally or otherwise. They are absurd thinking they can act so childish and get away with treating people the way they have treated me and still have a business to run. read more
