This is our go to place for French dip sandwiches. We've tried so many places and this one has ranked number one. Definitely must have it on focaccia. Comes with brie cheese and a side. A great meal at a great price. We also tried the Monday night $25 board and bottle of wine. This is a crazy good deal. Your choice of wines and you can take what's left of the bottle to go if you don't finish it. A large variety of choices of bruschetta for the board. I think it's one of the best deals around! Always such great service at every Postino I've been to in Denver, but this one is my favorite because they are super dog friendly. Their patio is heated and the employees bring the dogs water and treats. Food and drinks always come quick and their $5 before 5 deal is great, along with the board and bottle nights! I've been to every location multiple times, but this one is super convenient because they've got a garage - so if we've got a DD it makes things easier! I've never had a bad experience here and the staff knows how to give great recommendations for wines and the food menu. If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a big party of 18 on Saturday night. We were denied service from another restaurant nearby. It was about 915am. We called and they said come on over. We got there and were seated promptly and with care. We had 10 13-14year old teens that were celebrating their last jr high play. We did the Bruscetta and Wine special for the night, which is a great deal - and if you don't finish the bottle of wine, they'll re-cork it for you to take home! My favorites are: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread, Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone, Smoked Salmon & Pesto, Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese, and Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio. I don't get the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread one anymore though because they barely put an Brie on it and it doesn't seem worth it. I've been eying Postinos for a while after only getting takeout from them. I came in for brunch on a Sunday with a girlfriend around 11 and was seated right away. The space inside is big and although it got busy, it was never completely full. The waitress was extremely attentive and stopped by often to check in on us and provide water refills. We got the bruschetta board to share, some wine and our own brunch entrees. The wine was $5 per glass or $20 for a bottle for happy hour before 5pm. Such a good deal! I tried their Pinot noir and a cab mix and both were delicious. For the bruschetta board, everything is delicious but I would say the spinach artichoke is my favorite. Love the vibe in there as well. I love this Postino's! Came here the other night on Monday for their board and bottle special. This deal is $25 for both. I am a sucker for their boards and their wine is also fantastic! When it comes to their boards you can make your own if you'd like, so I usually choose the brie, apple, and fig spread, fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil, warm artichoke spread, and the salami and pesto. The most is 4 choices I believe, so those are my favorites! Because the weather is summer-ish lately here in Denver, I've been sticking with rosés a lot. I tried two when I was there which were the Aplina and Subida. They were both still rosés which I love, so definitely recommend these two. On top of the amazing board and wine special, the atmosphere of this location is super urban and relaxing. I loved the interior design as well. The sunglasses wall was awesome to see! We asked prior to ordering if certain dishes had nuts or sesame seeds due to allergies and was told that the smoked salmon snack did not include any of those. As the person in our party who ordered it is deathly allergic... The meatballs and goat cheese stole the show with the wine pairing. But if you are looking for only wine and to feel hungry after a meal, this is the spot. Today we met some friends to try their brunch since we've never gone before. 5 stars for the vibes and service, but probably only 3 for the brunch. It just wasn't worth it for the price. OK, now I totally understand why everyone is so obsessed with Postino!! And I can't believe it took me so long to try it out for myself! Dined at Postino last night on Colorado Blvd. for girls night. We unfortunately were not able to make a reservation (first-come first-serve for parties under 6ppl), and we were quoted a 1 hour wait during the dinner rush. The wait ended up being about 45 minutes, we were asked to wait outside (heat lamps available) but I wish we could have waited at the bar and not outside in the cold. BUT, once we were called to be seated we completely forgot about the chilly wait! The ambience and overall design of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. It has a modern/industrial/art deco vibe with creative decor, trendy furniture, vibrant wallpaper, statement chandeliers, and wine bottles displayed throughout. Like a library for wines! We were seated in a cozy booth and greeted immediately by our server. The service was fantastic. Our server was so sweet and attentive, we never had to wait for anything or look for him. Our food and drinks were brought out SO quickly! Especially the food, which was suspiciously quick. It almost made me question the freshness of the food but everything we had was fresh, made to order, quality ingredients, and SO tasty! I wasn't sure how I felt initially about an Italian "tapas" concept but nibbling and grazing throughout the night was just lovely and perfectly filling. Finally I got to visit Postino!!! I've been driving past this place for a while now, and every time I do so, I think to myself how wonderful and magical it looks. I came here with a friend to try this place out on a cold wintery December afternoon, and we were thoroughly impressed. As I arrived I was instantly greeted with a warm welcome from the hostess. I was then taken to an amazing fireside table situated outside in the garden. We both shared the Butchers Block platter, which consisted of tasty meats, olives, nuts, cheeses, hummus, and an assortment of dried fruits.
