Come here for a birthday brunch on a Saturday at noon. Plenty of seating when we arrived, the restaurant was half full and the service was good. By 1pm the place was packed and everyone was hustling. We had lots of good stuff off the brunch and lunch menu. Some good deals on wine by the glass and by the bottle. No bar but beer and wine options were solid. Boards, sandwiches, salads and lots of great flavors and colors. Really nice menu of options. Kids came and they had fun. There were some good options for them and we lingered for two hours. Probably 15 minutes too long. But they were generous given how much we spent and it was a birthday group of 9. They have an awesome patio for warmer days and the vibe inside is great. Limited dedicated parking and the area is Uber popular so we walked a couple of blocks. Definitely a place to repeat with friends and they take reservations so perfect for a larger group. read more

I have been coming here since they opened and I will tell you they have had the most consistent staff and the greatest service. They are incredibly aware of food allergies and are happy to accommodate. Their happy hour is the best how can you beat the $5 before 5 pm? I love the manchengo brussels salad and the steak skewers. They have the best dog friendly patio and Ace the Restaurant Dog has spent many days since he was a puppy hanging here. By far my most visited brunch spot. The service is team-oriented, meaning you won't have just one server, but rather you can flag anyone down to order from. I always start with a bruschetta board, my favorites being the Mexican Street Corn, Tomato Burrata Bacon Arugula, Fig and Brie, and the Smoked Salmon and Pesto. Off their brunch menu, you can't really go wrong with any of the entrees, my favorite being the Meatball Shakshuka with a side of crostini for dipping. They have a really good happy hour too. A really nice restaurant. When I looked at the menu online I didn't completely understand the concept and wasn't that excited about small plates spread on bread. But when I dug a little deeper, they have really good flavors playing well together. My favorite was the sweet and spicy pepper jam w goat cheese. A close second was the prosciutto. Realizing that 8pm is really late to eat, but that's why they choose less popular days/times to have this great deal to keep the place packed. I just plan/eat accordingly that day. I don't have a problem sitting for 2+ hours finishing a bottle of wine (lol) but if you do, they will seal it for you to take home, as well. I absolutely love the artichoke and salmon bruschettas, I always have to get them both and then decide on the other 2. We got to pick four items and we got: Brie, apple &fig spread, fresh mozzarella, tomato& basil, prosciutto, fig & mascarpone and burrata, bacon, arugula& tomato. All good. This should be called Postino's Wine Bar to help someone new to Denver to know what this place is. We were in the area shopping for lighting at Urban Lighting and asked the saleswoman for cool places to eat. She said Postino. We love Italian so we headed there thinking we could get some pasta. The ambiance in the place is great - the seating, the lighting, the décor. It is a beautiful, comfortable place to hang out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. But once we looked at the menu, we realized this place is meant for couples or a group to sit and enjoy a great wine (or beer) while eating finger food. They do have what looked like a full bar in the back and there are also sandwiches, soups, and salads. But this is not a place you go to get a hardy Italian meal. I ordered the Pick Two. I had the soup of the moment - a spicy, broth with tomatoes, beans, and small pieces of sausage. It was very tasty. I also got a turkey sandwich on bread that seemed a little dry and crumbly. Maybe it was toasted. I realize my experience isn't typical of most patrons of this place who understand that wine and appetizer-type foods are why you come to Postino's. We were seated promptly and they were super accommodating, recommending the best spot for us to sit with our baby in his car seat. This meant a lot bc it was our first restaurant outing since having a baby and I was stressed about how it would go, but Postino made everything so easy. I had a glass of French rosé that was dry and not too sweet. Then my husband and I shared the skewers, roasted red pepper soup, and a bruschetta board with: Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone; Smoked Salmon & Pesto; Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese; and Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato. I rarely give a 5 star rating but the wait staff at Postino Broadway earned it! A friend and I decided to try Postino for our monthly Happy Hour. When we sat at a table on the patio it was warm, dry and thirsty. I couldn't wait for that first cold beer. But wait we did. 5, 10 minutes.. no one greeted us. Another few minutes and we were considering leaving. I waved at a server across the patio, got his attention as he was serving another table but said he'd be over shortly. Two minutes later another wait person came to our table and greeted us. She apologized very sincerely and explained that they had a technical issue and that another server had to leave. They hadn't updated something which caused them to miss checking on some tables. I kind of thought it was just a story and said to my buddy we should go elsewhere if the service is bad. We ordered beers off their best-around Happy Hour list and were served so fast! Seriously, I don't think you can beat their HH beer price anywhere these days! And from that point on the service was nothing short of amazing! At least 3 different wait staff checked in us regularly without being invasive or clingy. We ended up ordering food as well which we weren't planning on. I had a panini sandwich that was orgasmic! We were truly impressed with their service and are going back real soon. Things happen, that's life. And in a service business that can be a business killer if you don't recover. Postino wait staff not only recovered, they blew us away! This review is a week late, but better late than never. We were warmly greeted by the hostesses upon our arrival. It truly goes a long way to have the first person/people we interact with at a restaurant to be kind and welcoming. It makes me feel like we're actually welcome there. First massive plus! We were seated at a high top close to the far end of the bar. It was bustling in there by 6pm, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The patio was an option but it was a little chilly for my blood. It was full of guests that didn't seem to mind the changing temps. Our server was an absolute delight. I wish I would've gotten her name. She reminded me of a magical flower-child...shorter blond hair, shimmery eye makeup, piercing eyes, warm smile...hopefully a manager reading this knows who I'm talking about because she deserves recognition for being one of the best servers I've ever had. From my perspective, it seemed like she genuinely loved life, and for her to exude that love at work says a lot about the environment there. We ordered the bruschetta board (artichoke, salmon pesto, prosciutto fig, and burrata bacon) and a glass of wine as an app. For dinner, we each ordered a panini (and I got another glass of wine because why not?). The boards are always a great way to start. They're fresh and I've never had a flavor profile I didn't love. The paninis were stellar as well! Way too big to finish in one sitting, but they made excellent leftovers the next day. I had the West Coaster, and it was delicious. You could choose 4 from a variety of options - and that was honestly enough to fill me up. I ordered the Brie apple fig, salmon pesto, prosciutto marsarpone, and the burrata bacon arugula. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite because they were all very tasty. The bread is a little softer than your typical bruschetta but it worked with all the flavors seeping into the bread.
