The food is 10/10, similar to the other Postino restaurants in town. However, this location is a lot more crowded than the others and the service was very unorganized. We didn't really have a server, so getting drinks & ordering our food was incredibly slow. After 45 minutes our bruschettas were ready and two servers took them to the wrong table, then spent another 10 minutes trying to sort out whose food it was. Very unorganized. My boyfriend ordered wine that didn't come, we were waiting forever to find someone to get our check and ended up asking the hostess for someone to bring it to use. After that, the manager came over and gave us my glass of wine for free for the trouble which was actually really nice. He said something about a team setting or that one person isn't assigned to a table anyone can help someone but I don't see how that's efficient. Since the customer isn't told that and is left sitting and wondering when their waitress will come back. But, willing to try this place again. They're doing everything they can to ensure you have a great meal once you're seated but your first encounter is the host desk. They do their best to keep up with demand but the wait can be pretty long. The digital wait list helps but isn't close to accurate it seems. We waited about 25 min longer than the estimated amount. So before you even get in you kind of have a frustrated feeling about the place. Add reservations. Even if they're difficult to get, just reserve half the restaurant. I've been here a few times, the most recent visit was for my girlfriend's birthday dinner date on a Wednesday evening. We waited about 10 minutes for a table for two, so they were busier than we expected on a weeknight. My favorite thing about this place is their bruschetta. You can choose 4 different types, all of which come with fresh ingredients that are paired well. Each option comes on a large piece of toast that are sliced into 4 sections, so it is a great appetizer to share. I ordered a turkey sandwich on ciabatta bread. The bread was fresh and overall the sandwich was delicious. I requested a birthday dessert when I saw the waitress near the bar when I left the table for a restroom visit. They brought a delectable piece of chocolate cake with fresh ice cream that tasted like it was made in house, with a lit candle. The atmosphere of this place is lovely. The building was designed in a very open way, with one corner exposed to the night air. It is a fantastic place to visit when the weather is nice. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is there is a wait to be seated every time I have visited, and it is somewhat pricey for what you get. read more

This review is not based on the food. The food was amazing. It's based on our server. I went there today ( Sunday) for brunch around 1230... By the time our server Victoria came over to take our order, it was around 1250. I wanted to order from the brunch menu which ended at 1, however, her exact words were " I'm sorry, we stop taking orders for brunch at 1230". I told her it says 1:00 pm on the menu, and she said " yes, but you can't order after 1230". I just moved to Arizona and have been trying new restaurants with my friends every weekend, and have never experienced anything like this. They usually say let me check with a manager/kitchen, or take my order since I still had 10 min left. All in all very annoyed with the service, but the food was really good. I always check for recommendations for places to eat that are gluten free and Postino is usually my first choice. I have eaten at this location several times and have been impressed with the ambiance, food, and drink selections. I always get the bruschetta on gluten free bread and was quite impressed with their dairy free almond hummus. The sweet potato wedges were so flavorful and their sauces are divine. Creme brûlée for dessert was pretty small and their method of a team of servers was a bit confusing. I had to have them redo a plate of tuna tartare as someone didn't pass the memo of gluten free on to the kitchen. If you do get bruschetta, eat the pieces that have chopped tomatoes first or it will get soggy. I can't wait for the COVID restrictions and weirdness to be done so they can set up cornhole and fun outdoor games to hang out outside again. The honey cucumber lemonade is simply divine. read more

Found my new girls night out spot on a Monday or Tuesday. There were 3 of us that arrived about 7:30 and was told a table would probably be available at 8:30. Immediately greeted at our table by Austin, we had indicated we were only staying for one glass of wine each before we headed home. After debating over the menu, and not finding exactly what we wanted Austin had shown myself the selection from the wine rack and not only did we have an amazing bottle to sample on site, but we're blessed with bringing home an amazing bottle afterwards. We were also approached by our server multiple times during our short stay, Roxy. Who turned out to be an amazing hostess during our short stay. She suggested not only the perfect dessert, but also was amazingly attentive even as we were there only for a short stay. While we have frequented other locations in the past, this location has grown to be one that we will look to visit over and over again due to these two people. First of all: the food was freaking excellent. Perfect portions appropriately priced. But what really made this dinner great was the customer service and attention to detail. Stevie was our server and went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. She recommended the perfect wine pairings and food options. I came to Postino's to meet up with a friend for happy hour. The happy hour drink menu is unbeatable. They offer $5 glasses of wine and $5 pitchers of beer! The inside has a great modern vibe but we chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful day and it was a little more quiet. It did get chilly once the sun went down but they had heaters on the patio that made it much more comfortable! The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was because we had to wait a while to pay our tab (we ended up asking one of the bus boys for our check).
