    Mediterranean Chicken bowl
    Misti L.

Great meal for GNO in DT Gilbert! Overall excellent vibe. RW menu looked great but we passed. Mediterranean bowl was so delicious. I'd have liked some black olives for a bit more brine. Feta too. Coronado Blueberry super fruit cider also delicious. Great cadence and well done. Others had burgers, onion rings (very crispy), and zucchini. More sauces needed for appetizers when shared across the table.

Zinburger, thick and yummy strawberry shake, and remains of recommended strawberry-cream soda.

She-who-must-be-obeyed and I enjoyed a leisurely drink a couple weeks ago and decided we'd invite visiting friends as part of a progressive dining experience. Zinburger was our choice for our main course as during previous visit the burgers looked more than yummy. We ordered a Zinburger, Double Smash Burger, Samburger and Classic Diner Burger. All agreed that our respective burgers were wonderful. I ordered a strawberry-cream soda to accompany my meal and highly recommend this non-alcoholic drink. Let's not forget the thick and tasty shakes. I enjoyed my strawberry shake whilst my life-long friend, Rick and his wife Donna thought his chocolate shake was top-drawer. Zinburger offers a clean and slick interior, and wait staff are on top of their game. Oh, if you enjoy watching fellow citizens go on about their life, try a highboy table along Gilbert Road.

I went to zinburger for the first time and enjoyed it! The hostess and server were both very friendly, personable, attentive and helpful. You can sit inside or outside- we opted for the outside patio. They have booths and tables, as well as misters for a hot summer day. I enjoyed how quiet it was outside (as most people chose inside). The food was hot, fresh, and customizable. The onion rings were AMAZING. Everyone at my table ordered burgers and we agreed they were excellent. Would return.

Came here on Sunday morning with a friend. I like the decor and environment inside. We started with some frozen lemonade, strawberry smash and Peach Vanilla. Very good start. They actually came with bits of strawberries and a slice of peach. Then I ordered the Zinburger, my friend had a vegetarian burger, and we shared truffle fries. I think the fries were my favorite. The Zinburger was a bit underwhelming. Maybe I set my expectations too high. The meat patty was actually pretty good. I asked for medium with a little pink, and it was exactly that. But the overall package was just ok. The veggie burger looked really good. So, overall, recommend for those who want to hang out with friends, have lunch, or snacks or drinks, watch a game together.

Service was quick and friendly. Cute and casual inside and patio seating. The food was all excellent as well, you can tell they use local and quality ingredients. One of the best veggie burgers I have had as well.

Met up with a girlfriend for dinner on a Saturday night and I have mixed thoughts. I had only been to Zinburger once prior many years ago and wanted to give it another go. I went with the diner burger with a gf bun & fries & also got a frozen cocktail that was delicious! The food overall was pretty good 4/5 but the time it took to get our food and my friends to-go order was ridiculous. The server and manager came over to apologize for the wait many times but it was clear the kitchen was very backed up and they may have had a lack of servers/cooks. I would try another location but would not come back to this particular location as there are many different options available with faster service

we have come here many times and it's always been great! we specifically came this visit for the az restaurant week deal. awesome deal! we got the caesar salad to start, followed by samburgers (the best) and then a banana cream pie for dessert. service was great, we were seated right away as well as we had a reservation. we arrived around 5:30pm on a saturday and the dinner rush was just starting. noise is average here, not too loud. but i highly recommend this spot, we will return again! thank you!

Not crowded when we went on a Sunday afternoon and we got seated quickly. Our server came quickly to take our drink order but it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. (People came in after us and got served zucchini bites before our drinks ever arrived. Our food came out in a reasonable time and it was good. I ordered the tuna lettuce bites and they were tasty. You get enough tuna for 4 lettuce wraps. None of the burgers or sandwiches come with fries or side, you need to order that separately ...lame!! Burger was good. Does have a lot of good outdoor seating and even the indoor is very bright. Service is so so. It took forever for someone to take our cars for our bill.

I first experienced this venue during Restaurant Week. The food was so good and the service was great. We came back and had a less-than-stellar experience. My husband loved his Zin burger (manchego cheese, zinfandel braised onion, lettuce & mayo) but my All -American Veggie Burger was lukewarm and my fries were cold. The service was pretty slow on a Sunday night, it had definite understaffed vibes for sure. I will probably be back for the rubbermatch, will update accordingly.

Chain burger joint, with tasty items also beyond burgers. Service was very courteous at this location.

Dirty table next to us for over 45 mins. Asked 3 different people to address and they picked up very little

Haven't been in awhile and won't be back for awhile. Food was fine, but service weaker than normal. Waiter was kind, but seemed too busy. Iced tea not refilled and per posted picture, there was a disgusting table of food next to us the whole time we were there. We asked several people to address and never fully done. Please do better. Love my chicken sandwich.

Zinburger now has ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR on Monday and Tuesday! I have been to the Zinburger over in Biltmore, and this location is definitely larger and able to accommodate bigger parties. Everything else is pretty much the same, but consistency is good. I tried the tuna with lettuce cups, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Speaking from someone who has grown up in Hawaii and has had fish quite often, I will be stealing this idea for my at home poke concoctions. The happiest meal deal with a double smash burger, fries, and a 12 oz beer was the perfect amount for my boyfriend and quite the deal for $16! We went on a tuesday for lunch and the restaurant was about 60% filled and we were seated quickly. Our server was very attentive and we were never without water, drinks, or our next dish.

Huge portion of fried pickles not on the menu

Clean and contemporary in downtown Gilbert with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, Zinburger didn't disappoint tonight. My buddy said it was one of his favorite restaurants, and although I met some other friends a long time ago at the Scottsdale location, I can't remember trying the food. We sat at a high top indoors and I was glad I wore jeans because the AC was kickin'. We were seated immediately by a smiling, friendly hostess, but were not even offered water in the first 8 minutes. We placed an order for drinks, an appetizer and three different burgers. It took another 8 minutes to get drinks, so I was pretty thirsty by the time they got to the table. After another 15 minutes all the food came out together. The fried pickles - not on the menu - were over salted. The burgers were plated well, cooked properly and delicious, but a fourth one I ordered to go was very salty. I ordered fries lightly salted and they were lightly salted - much appreciation for the simple things - and I think this might be the key phrase to use here if you're sensitive to salt like me. Our server was attentive, refilled our drinks, and offered desert but we were too full. If you offered a kids size shake, 8oz or less, I would've got one, but 16oz is too big. In a service business, when you have 6 or 7 employees hanging out talking and customers without water for nearly 10 minutes after sitting down, that's room for improvement, a simple training could easily solve that. It's Arizona - offer water immediately. Send the appetizer first and watch the salt! The only other thing I can say is that I saw two GMs on the floor and neither visited our table.

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

Always a lot of people there so it makes you want to be there. Restaurant wise they have really basic offerings. Places you can find in Mesa, and Tempe, and Scottsdale. Now.... What truly makes Downtown Gilbert special are the small shops that are hidden away from the "main strip". One of those places is Clever Koi. Hidden in the Parking lot space behind Shaq's Chicken spot is a small strip of shops. A book store, smoothie place, and my favorite Clever Koi. Our family has very different tastes when we move from one member to the next. So finding places that we all like gets tricky. Clever Koi makes that easy because we honestly have yet to run into something we don't like. Let's start with our favorite starter. The steamed buns (giggity). The pork belly is hands down phenomenal. An amazing bite that literally makes you want more and more. The lazy fries are just that, again pork belly is included, but that garlic aioli is what drives this dish. The tai salad is obviously classic. The short rib dumplings literally make you close your eyes and just say "Mmmmmm". My middle child is the hardest pallet to please at any restaurant as he only eats certain things, but the Chicken Katsu sandwich here is his second favorite chicken sandwich in all this world. The first time he ate it he spent the whole ride home raving about it. Mind you, we live in San Tan, so not a short ride. The shaking beef is always good. It has this firey kick that brings the heat upfront but does not linger. You cannot forget about the fried rice here. Rice is one of my weaknesses in life second only to pizza. Fried rice ranks right up there with my top favorite ways to eat rice and this ranks right up there with my favorite fried rice places. The main reason we come here is because of the noodles. Ramen, ramen, ramen. When you think of Ramen, I assure you this is what you are thinking of. The broth is oh so savory and reigns in the fresh veggies and proteins to meld them with the noodles for a flavor punch each time you have a mouthful. They have great drinks here as well, or so I've been told by the other adults I come here with. I always just get a sake and Sapporo so... LOL The service is always good here and we somehow always manage to miss the lunch or dinner rush which is awesome. All in all... this is by far my favorite dining spot in downtown Gilbert. Great food, great drinks, great service, great atmosphere, in the middle of a great little square. A must eat for me.
