Sunday morning was very busy but we were seated quickly. I started with the Green healthy drink. My wife had the protein breakfast and I had the classic of bacon, egg whites, toast, and hash brown. Our orders came out timely, food was great the service was too. I checked my receipt again and noticed that it was the wrong receipt for my table and is likely the receipt of someone else at table 51. Tara, our server, was the awesome. She and everything as soon as we asked and most things before we even asked. The food was ok, nothing too special, but tasty. The atmosphere was an absolute joke. Absolutely packed with people waiting for tables, putting in their name and going up to the counter to answer their "table ready" text messages at the same time. Easily 50 people in a 200 sq dot area. This, I am sure, violated fire code. The staff did nothing to manage this. Some rude prick yelled at Andrea for "cutting the line" when she went to answer our table ready page. Never again, but I wish Tara all the best. She deserves a better environment. read more

We've been going to Snooze since before they existed in Arizona. We started going in San Diego and were thrilled when they opened in the Valley. Sadly, we've noticed a decline and lack of quality control at the Gilbert location. We went on Memorial Day for an afternoon breakfast. We started by ordering Diet Coke. We were told they had run out. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and tried to add ranchero sauce-they pulled it from the menu. It was one of our favorites, so that was a bummer. While waiting I noticed a couple dead flies on the windowsill, and this seems to be a pervasive issue. I have noticed it the last several visits. Our table was filthy, including sticky syrup all over. When my french toast came and I unrolled my silverware there was something green stuck on there and consequently also in my napkin. I don't like giving a place I love a review like this, but it's been like this the last few visits. It's getting harder to overlook. My hope is that someone will increase the quality control at the Gilbert location and give it the tlc it needs and deserves. read more

I ordered shrimp and grids with a pancake at this last visit a few weeks ago. It was underwhelming. We were there at 7 am and wasn't crowded so that was nice. The entree was pretty good but it was barely warm. The pancake was chewy instead of light and fluffy. The worst part was all the flies. It was so annoying trying to eat while flies buzzed around our heads and tried to land on our food. This place used to be good when it first opened but not so much anymore. The first thing you notice is the delicious aromas as you walk in the door. Then you'll notice the fun funky decor. We went for breakfast early on Saturday and had no wait. I went with the almond croissant pancake of the week. A light fluffy pancake with sweet almond cream topped with toasted almonds. My brother opted for the pancake flight, choosing the banana bliss, upside down pineapple, and strawberry. We shared a side of the house special bacon. Disappointed this morning! It was 10:00 104 degrees only seating was outside! 2 tables had customers! I asked about misters being turned on! Hostess said, "it has to get warmer out"! I replied it's 104 degrees out! We left and went to liberty market where it was nice and cool! read more

Dog friendly indoor/outdoor spot. Rejuvenate Juice was amazing! Our server was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything in detail, which really put my husband (who has celiac) at ease. Almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free--only two items couldn't--which is such a huge plus. I had the Bravocado toast with a side of the "bacon but different," and my husband ordered the Spuds Bowl along with the cinnamon bacon pancake--everything was SO good. Celebrated a family member's birthday here this morning, and it was a great experience! I thought we might need to join the waitlist ahead of time, but there was no wait--we were seated right away. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Our server was so kind and patient while we figured out what to order. The menu has tons of pancake options, and the kids even went for the adult plates. (I forgot you can actually order just one pancake instead of a full plate--good to know for next time!) The Monday-Thursday breakfast deals were a perfect portion. The server even helped put a candle in one of the pancakes so we could sing "Happy Birthday!". We went to breakfast here before hitting the road. Overall, a pretty good spot. They have ample seating, both indoor and outdoor, which was nice. Service was quick and although I'm not a breakfast person, the food wasn't bad. My bf got their special pancake of the month, he liked it a lot, it was a little too sweet for my liking. By far one of my favorite places for Brunch! This Gem is Tucked away in Downtown Gilbert. I come here often with my friends to catch up & enjoy wonderful food. The inside is very modern and colorful. I love sitting inside. I have also opted to sit on the patio when we have beautiful weather, that was a great experience as well. The service is always very good. The food is always delicious. &The menu has something for everyone! I love that there are so many options & they have seasonal items that are different than your average breakfast spot! Visited snooze this past weekend and was very happy with my experience. Snooze has always been our go to breakfast spot. We usually always get the same thing every time but they just recently revamped their menu which forced us to try something new. This time I tried their benny duo which had both the smashed avocado benny and the habanero pork belly benny. It was SO GOOD! Definitely not my usual but glad I got to try something new. Our server was soooo sweet and very attentive. She made sure we were happy with our food and drinks and even surprised us with a flight of pancakes at the end! Nothing to complain about at all. Food was pretty good; service (seating, wait staff, coffee, food, etc.) Was pretty good also. We sat outside for breakfast on Tuesday morning and the flies were pretty bad, so bad it was hard to enjoy breakfast on a nice morning outside. Bella, Bella Benedict was good, but the prosciutto was kinda gristle and tough to cut but otherwise everything else was tasty. I had the shrimp and grits and our waiter cautioned me that the chorizo was kinda spicy, which made me look forward to it even more. Unfortunately, the chorizo was not spicy at all and the shrimp did not have much seasoning flavor but the grits were good and I finished it all! They have a great location, plenty of free parking around the back and a very nice menu so I'll probably return to try some of their other items. read more

Went here on a Thursday morning to celebrate a family member's birthday. We checked the online waitlist ahead of time, and there was no wait around 8:00am. The waitress was very friendly attentive, and patient, and she added a candle to the half order of Pumpkin Pancakes that we ordered (did not charge us for the pancake either). Since it was a weekday, they had their Weekday Eats specials starting at $10. I got the Two Egg Classic, which is a smaller portion than the Snooze Classic ($11). That allowed me to save my stomach to enjoy more pancakes! The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were fantastic. I also really liked the Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes. All of them were so fluffy and flavorful. I was excited to try Snooze on Gilbert Road, but breakfast ended up being the thing that needed a snooze. The breakfast tacos arrived cold enough that I was wondering if they took a detour through the refrigerator before making it to my table. The hash browns were somehow more oil than potato. I didn't know I had ordered deep-fried cooking grease with a side of shredded potatoes. Every bite left enough oil to lubricate an engine. For the prices they charge, I expected a hot breakfast, not a chemistry experiment in saturated fat. The service was decent, but good service can only do so much when the food misses the mark this badly. We were really disappointed with our experience at Snooze A.M. Eatery. From the moment we were seated, the service was painfully slow. Instead of simply acknowledging the delays, our server kept offering excuses, and the attitude came across as dismissive rather than apologetic. She said she'd tell her manager who never appeared. The food didn't make up for it either. The portions were surprisingly small for the price, and the quality was well below what we expected. Everything felt underwhelming. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing breakfast experiences we've had. Between the slow service, poor attitude, small portions, and mediocre food, we have no reason to return. Came downtown Gilbert, because it seemed like a cute little place to visit. I stumbled upon this restaurant and looked at yelp and thought we give it a try and went in. We did have to wait a bit to be seated, they seemed busy, but not like the place was packed busy. We got there around 1:10pmish (inside after waiting for 5 mins for someone) and wanted to sit outside in the back as it was very open and the it was nice out. Only 2 people were out there. They said they weren't sitting anymore people because they were closing soon, I then was like "oh I'm so sorry, don't want to come to a place that's about to close" and I double checked the yelp time and it closed at 3pm and we came in at 1:10pm. I was like well there is plenty of time to eat, even outside and I understand if we came an hour or maybe 30 mins prior but I felt 2 hours was a good amount of time left. No big deal. We got a seat, They were sitting people on one side in the front by the window (booth seats) and a few others at tables. Went to the bathroom no one was in the back room but only 2 people outside. They got our drinks pretty fast but our food order took some time, which is no big deal, we are easy people! But the whole time of being there we felt rushed after our meal order was taken. The waitress was nice but very rushy. We got our meal and everything was delicious! The food didn't take too long to get to us! My husband got the pancake flight. It was pineapple upside down, strawberries and cream and cinnamon roll. I hate pancakes, waffles anything syrupy, but the pineapple upside down pancake, was so good and the best I've had. The cinnamon roll one was very delicious. The strawberries and cream was good but was like another pancake with fruit on it. My husband loved them all! I got the bravocado half toast, and the greens with it tasted amazing and refreshing, loved the dressing it came on it. The toast and eggs was so delicious. Avocado toast is my favorite and this was one of the tops I've had. The mimosas was good but not very cold, I wished it was a little colder but didn't stop me from drinking it. The waitress was very nice, I want to say that but we felt rushed the entire time until it got to wait for our check that took awhile and then it took 10 mins to check out after we gave her our card. If brunch is a sport, Snooze is my home stadium. Let me just say it: the cinnamon roll pancakes? Literal dessert disguised as breakfast. I've had dreams about them. I've written poetry about them. I would fight someone for the last bite. The staff? Always sunshine in human form. Even when I roll in looking like I just barely survived the night, they treat me like I'm the queen of brunch. A true talent. Cocktails? Top tier. Their brunch drinks hit that sweet spot of "fun tipsy" without making you question all your life choices by 2 p.m. Now... a moment of silence for what once was: the biscuits and sausage gravy. Why they had to snatch that gift from the menu, I will never emotionally recover. Getting that sausage gravy on the side with my eggs was my personal love language. RIP to a real one. The vibe is funky-retro, like if a 60s diner and a Pinterest board had a brunch baby. Always buzzing, always worth the wait. Would give 6 stars if I wasn't still in mourning. Unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant anymore, which disappoints me because I used to love it! Our requested seating could not be accommodated regardless of open availability with seating, and the table was still wet so I had to use the menu to fan the table dry. The waitress didn't show up until I had finished drying the table, even though she watched me do it. The service here really has gone downhill and food never arrives in a reasonable time anymore. As for the food, our eggs were seasoned with everything bagel seasoning, which feels cheap and lazy considering the price. The syrup provided isn't enough for even an entire pancake, and the English muffins were not just uncooked, but they were cold on the bottom, making them feel gross. Two orders of eggs, one hot chocolate and pancake was a bill upwards of $70, including a tip that didn't feel warranted given the horrible service. It's unfortunate that pricing is this ridiculous for bottom-of-the-barrel food. If you want a bang for your buck with tons of delicious, freshly cooked food, go to Eggstasy down the road! read more

One of my favorite places for brunch. It usually gets crowded on weekends. But they have a great app, where you can rack up rewards, link it to yelp and make a reservation. Can also check out wait times and add your name on to the list. Service is usually great. This time there was a fall special menu. Usually try the habanero pork belly Benedict. One of the best I have had. But tried the habanero pork belly fried rice. Lots of flavors, and well balanced. Considering it's usually crowded. It doesn't really get too loud. Tacos are also bigger than what I thought, good portions for tacos. The fried rice on the other hand, I'd say was lesser than what I expected but good nonetheless. read more

Needing to grab breakfast before our adventure Saturday morning, Snooze was the way we chose. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the amazing Supreme Spudz breakfast I had. Delicious! Although they do serve alcohol here it wasn't my thing this morning so I stuck with coffee. The bartender (we sat at the bar) was super busy the whole time we were there but not too busy to greet us and keep my coffee fill the whole time!!! Exceptional service!
