The self-serve veggie bar is our fave too since they've added fresh enoki mushrooms. For me, I load up on equal parts veggies & meats, so I don't feel too bad going hard on the AYCE haha! Hubby and I came here for a late lunch, and found only another couple there. With AYCE shabu set you order the meats through the server, then they call you up for the veggies and sauce they serve and plate it for you. Here's more info on the Senior Special -- You have to be 60+ years old, it's daily from 4:00 - 5:00, it's pork nabe only (no substitutions) and the cost is $17. We always get the pirikara soup base. Love the taste -- they say it's a spicy garlic shoyu base but I don't think it's too spicy.. I actually add more togarashi to mine for a little extra kick. It comes with several thinly sliced pork slices, napa, choi sum, carrot, tofu, shiitake, kuzukiri (clear noodle), chives, and rice. It's the perfect combination and amount to satisfy! To make it even better, the Senior Special timing coincides with their daily Happy Hour -- how terrific can it get!! With Happy Hour there are drink and pupu specials that you can also enjoy. They have Happy Hour 2 times a day -- 4:00 - 6:00 and 8:30 to close. We order a Kirin pitcher and I always get a Melon Shochu. If you never tried their Melon Shochu, you should definitely give it a try. They put a whole melon Melona ice cream bar in their shochu mix. It is delicious -- almost feels like you're drinking a refreshing dessert. Oh.... did I forget to mention, it's a Happy Hour special, $7.00. Our waiter, Gabe, was AWESOME! There's plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant so parking is never a problem. The restaurant has a real inviting atmosphere with their modern Japanese decor throughout. Inside you can select either standard seating or Japanese style seating. Just a note - there's an opening for your legs so you don't have to worry about how you're going to sit through the whole meal. If you're over 60 and love nabe, I definitely recommend you coming for the Senior Special. I'm not sure how long the special is going to lasts but it's definitely a winner for us!

They offer four different packages: Basic ($42/$48), Silver ($52/$58), Gold ($68/$78), and Diamond ($88/$98). The lower price in each tier is reserved for "Members," which requires a $28 annual fee. Keep in mind that everyone at your table must order the same tier package. We opted for the Gold Wagyu Set specifically to try the Japanese A5 Wagyu. If you've ever wondered if there's a real difference between American, Australian, and Japanese Wagyu, the answer is a resounding yes! The Japanese A5 has incredible marbling and literally melts in your mouth, whereas the other two have a much firmer, traditional texture. The only catch with the Gold tier is that the A5 Chuck Ribeye and Shoulder Cut are limited to one order per person. If you want completely unrestricted, unlimited A5 Wagyu, you'll need to upgrade to the Diamond Set. I usually need to go to Japan to satisfy my craving for this pillowy treat. Then Cloud Nine Cafe and Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle entered the scene bringing souffle pancakes for all of us to enjoy. Cloud Nine Cafe's location was a bit inconvenient for me to patron, but a friend of mine posted on social media that Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle in Pearlridge Center also serves souffle pancakes. I never even thought of going there for this as I figured their menu only consisted of rice noodle soups (as their name suggests). They also have dim sum options from 11 am to 6 pm every day. They have 8 different types of souffle pancakes to choose from on their menu. Original with butter and maple syrup, brown sugar with boba, chocolate with Oreo chip, matcha with red bean, strawberry, mango, coffee with Biscoff and coconut with ube. While there were other flavors that also tempted me, I had to go with my favorite flavor - matcha. This was a great option as it wasn't too sweet. The souffle pancake was just as jiggly and fluffy as I had hoped. Customer service was great as well even though it was quite busy during what I'm sure is a typically busy Sunday lunch crowd.
