I finally took the chance to try this Potato Corner inside Northridge Fashion Center mall tonight. I walked past this little stand on the first floor so many times but never stop by to try them until tonight. My wife was shopping and I wanted a snack so I remember this store was here. I looked at their menu and knew I wanted french fries. The price is high, it's like paying amusement park prices. After looking at their menu I went to order and got the mega box, original fries with bbq flavor. While I was waiting for my fries to be ready, I saw they give free sample so when the fries were done, I asked for a sample with chili bbq flavor. I thought the chili bbq flavor is better than the regular bbq flavor. While waiting for my fries, I saw how they mix the fries with the spices. I thought the fries were good but not worth the price I paid for it.

Most delicious french fry brand in the world!! There is nothing that tastes better than fries from Potato Corner. I love to mix two flavors when I order my fries, I get the Sour Cream and Barbeque mix with the straight fries. The powder mix is heavenly and I love how evenly distributed the fries are. You can see the powder mixing happening in action by the staff when you stand by the display case. You can also get some wings and get grub in that way too. The prices are affordable and I love how the fries are also piping hot from the moment they call out your order. Definitely pick and choose what time to order some fries from here, especially if you are on a rush or a time crunch. Unfortunately, there is a high chance that there'll be a long line of people waiting and your wait can end up being around 20 minutes. You can see the workers with high stress levels due to people getting visibly impatient. I see people complain but that honestly doesn't help anyone out. So for your own sanity, just be aware of the situation and expect to wait if you see many people lined up and/or waiting. If you do have time to spare, it's worth the wait.

Located inside Northridge mall first floor between Lolly & pops and Kevin jewelers store; midsection of the mall. So the service went well, they have menus displayed to view their options. I was craving French fries and I love curly style fries, so I ordered their loopy fries, size mega, with chili bbq sauce. It took about 10-15 minutes for my order to come out, however, I still enjoyed my nice hot fresh curly fries. The chili bbq: A savory, hot kick on the curly fries, tasted even better with some ketchup. I do recommend this spot for cravings while you're shopping here, the fries were pretty good, crispy, not soggy, not oily or greasy, perfect crunch.

I have never left a bad review before, but this location is awful. Some of the staff are so incredibly rude, it's crazy. I literally told this girl I'm here for a pick up order, and she said she'll get it. She looked around, and just walked out of the booth without saying anything to me. I was standing there for like 5 minutes on my lunch breaking thinking shes gonna come back. I asked another worker and my order was right next to her. So incredibly rude and awful staff, not to mention the girl that always has her headphones in, while on the clock, when you talk to her she sounds so confused. I know it's a fast food joint and not to expect much, but damn I didn't know the bar was this low. Y'all just hiring anybody nowadays. read more

Service: My birthday was craving a little something since I was passing through. I thought to myself let's get some tots! But my oh my is the service terrible. Well the young cashier woman was kind. But the supervisor lady was mean to me for no reason. Like if you have your insecurities take them home!!! I don't involve my personal issues when I'm working, what if I had a bad day and I just want some potatoes to make me feel better and you're just making it worse?? Woman on woman hate is a "no." Women need to support other women otherwise you close and I close our roads like yeah. I don't know what is going on with you lady but be more professional- don't give me less tater tots than others who aren't even there. Dont make your guy employee treat me mean cus of your insecurities. Honey we all have insecurities but we don't project it onto others. Don't skip numbers either. Glad I got my refund. I've visited other locations of potato corner and the fries are always nice and coated with seasoning. Well it is what we pay for. Service was bad. They need to put more seasoning on their fries because charging $8 for a fry and not having seasoning is not worth it. read more

Dude!!!!!!!!! I dnt know if the person hates her job but omg shes gave everyones attitude maybe because the people called in sick or idk the situation but damn man she gave us a really really bad attitude. I dnt know if i want to feel sorry for her because shes by herself or mad at her because the way she portrayed herself when we order and not just me she gave an attitude. Don't get me wrong, Potato Corner's fries are absolutely amaazing!! But they're not worth waiting 30+ mins for! I'm not sure about the other locations but this one may be understaffed?? There are no issues ordering the fries. It's the waiting time that's brutal! I was standing, waiting for my fries at the front of the stand in a crowded mall for more than 30 mins!! Ehhhh. Not so much. The employees are very friendly but the fries sucked. I had a craving for some french fries and thought what better place then the Potato Corner, right? Wrong! Nothing special here. You can get your fries in different flavors, but they are all some sort of salt blend. Wayyyy tooo much salt. I got the curly fries which which had a lot of broken ends pieces too. Like the bottom of the barrel. Maybe if I had just got plain fries they would have been better? Not impressed. read more

Worst potato corner location. Fries are very under seasoned compared to other locations I couldn't even taste the seasoning. I asked for more seasoning and they were hesitant and rude. Told me to wait, which I was fine with, but they never did so; so I just took them back. I've come here several times with an open mind and have always been treated poorly and they have always tried giving wrong change (Maybe entering the amount someone pays in cash so the correct change is given the first time would help?) Maybe the location is under staffed? The woman that took my order was running back and forth I had to repeat my order 3 times. Overall, save your money and go to a fast food place on your way home. read more

We have been going here for years and i am here almost like every week whenever i craved for fries. The only reason i buy here is because its cooked to order and it taste better when its still fresh. It really takes bad customer service to ruin the experience. I recently got a fries and waited for almost 30mins. and thats okay because im used to it but then i noticed that my number was skipped several times already and at this point im already waiting for almost an hour just for a mega fries. I dont know if they forgot to call my number or what but i was seated on the table and i have not heard my number called. But this employee named RYAN gave me an attitude. I asked if my number was ready. Handed me a soggy fries. I said, can i pls get a newer fries? Laugh at me and he did his job by calling the number and its not his fault if i ddnt hear it. Like dude No. I was seated on the table in front of you patiently waiting on my fries, didnt even left even for a min. If you have a problem, dont bring to work. Felt so humilited just for a fries! People might think it's just french fries and question they hype but omg if you're a potato lover you'd understand why I love this place. I always order the chili bbq flavor. Cheddar is good too. Most of the meals are simple to make, some you just toss in the oven. The meals change every month. There are side dishes and desserts you can add on. I don't know if it is economical, but we have been living on these meals for years already. I often get things slightly modified as hubby doesn't like some of the ingredients. It is simple not really adventurous cooking,, but that is ok by us.

He recommended the ranchero bisteca preparado, which is basically the uncooked version of carne asada, I think? They sliced it fresh and seasoned the meat in front of me so I was very excited to grill it at home! We just finished dinner and it was absolutely fresh and delicious! I also got their house made pork chorizo, which we haven't cooked yet but I'm sure it is fantastic like the rest. So far I am very impressed by the spectacular flavors and quality of meats. Not too much of a sweet too myself, I opted for 25% sugar, and it was still too sweet for me. The Brown Sugar Boba tasted as expected, but it was definitely on the mushier side, which was a surprise for an early afternoon order. I will admit, though, that the staff really load their drinks; no skimping here! Outside of the drink, the staff were welcoming and very accommodating should there need to be any changes. I wish I had tried this drink earlier, though, because 25% sugar really tasted way too sweet. Perhaps I'll return for a 0% sometime, but for now, I'm satisfied knowing that I've given it a chance.

There is ample space to sit and enjoy your drink. I'd even say it's a good spot to study as it is spacious and does not get too loud. Drinks/food: We've tried the Iced Ube Matcha latte, Iced sea salt latte, Iced Ube Latte, as well as the Ube truffles. I love the ube flavor and it pairs perfectly with their matcha. They don't use the highest quality matcha but the ube flavor carries and still provides a nice tasty drink. I visited this location last Friday and I have to say I absolutely love potatoes,so this place is always on my list when I visit a couple friends in the valley area! My favorite has got to be the original fries with a BBQ/Sour Cream Mix. When I got to the register,I asked the young lady what she recommended. I mentioned I was hesitant to try the sweet potato because I've never been a big fan,but she mentioned at first she wasn't a big fan of sweet potato as well until she tried them at potato corner. She was kind enough to give me a sample with my favorite mix,BBQ/SC & I was completely in love! I mentioned to her that I would give the sweet potato fries a try next time I visited which will definitely be soon! I love their fries,but also their customer service! I asked the young lady for her name,because I was so impressed with their customer service,but totally forgot it, I just remembered she has the nicest red hair id seen! Not to mention,I was really thirsty for a drink and the kind young lady mentioned they had a combo deal were I'd only have to pay $1.50 more for a combo! I've always been a fan of Potatoes and the fact that their chicken is halal is always a plus for me. You don't find a lot of places which serve halal food! I always get the chicken tender combo with chili BBQ loopy fries whenever I visit! I have to say that my visit yesterday was very pleasant! Not only is there food amazing and addicting ( I come here at least once a week),but their customer service is very good! When I ordered I was greeted with a smile which is always nice! I came here for lunch and usually depending on the day it can get kinda busy,so I would understand if I had to wait a bit for my food since they make everything to order,but without a doubt my food was ready in a timely manner! I only had to wait about 4 minutes! Everything was hot and fresh and tasted yummy! Not only was my food delicious as usual,but I think they've really stepped up there game on customer service! I love Potato Corner, their fries, and friendly employees. I was there in the line yesterday and i witnessed what really happened. Employees should be given protection from this kind of people. Ofcourse, they cannot defend themselves. Customers like them can only write bad stuff just because they are having a bad day. I was there. I am only concerned to the employees. I work in the mall and i also deal with rude and arrogant customers like them. I always see these ladies and they were so nice. I think they have a cctv to prove what really happened. These customers are like some of my customers who come and pick out random people to fight just because they're having a bad day or maybe they have psychological problem or narcissism. I hope these ladies will be given such fair treatment. This is so self-degrading and unfair. read more

Potato Corner is hands-down our favorite spot for fries! We always order the Giga Original Fries with a mix of Sour Cream & Onion and Chili Barbecue flavors, and they never disappoint. The fries are perfectly crispy and loaded with seasoning--each bite is packed with bold, savory goodness. The portion size is generous enough to share, but honestly, it's so good we usually don't want to! The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the high side, especially for fries, but it's our go-to snack since we get a mall employee discount. With the discount, it's much more reasonable and worth every penny. If you're a fry lover or just need a satisfying snack during your mall visit, Potato Corner is a must-try. A great snack after a long day of shopping, you can find a large variety of flavors from cheddar, garlic, sour cream, bbq, or even do mix. The service is great, the people are nice, and there is even a wonderful phone number only rewards program for every purchase you make that accumulates to get more free fries!! Why go to the food court when you could get their yummy chicken and fries. I would definitely recommend this place to any persons coming off of work, coming from school, or just a long day of shopping. When they say it's the best flavored fries in the world, they really are THE BEST flavored fries in the world. This particular store is THE BEST ONE out of all of them. Staff are always friendly, no matter who is in shift that day - they are all friendly and super nice. Of course, a special mention to Tin, for being the best and friendliest of them all. This is so good! I don't know how to explain how good this is first time I tried a fries with cheddar flavor which is my favorite. Also not just a price but the service is good. All the workers here are professional and you can see that they love what they're doing. I highly recommend this place for those who love fries and also chicken they put flavor on the chicken also. Hello, i went in today, there was a little rush but they had my order out in no time. I was greeted with a smile and had a great vibes from the empolyees. I got a half and half giga fries and I was not dissapointed. The presentation and amount of fries with seasoning looked so appetizing! This by far is one of my Go To spots when I visit the Northridge fashion center. I tried everything here, and it's all good! My favorite are the chicken wings and the tater tots.
