First time here. Came for the car show and to try this place out. 1. Get the wings on their special $10 for 10 wings. You can mix the sauces. The wings are a good size, cooked to order. Came out hot, and well sauced. 2. I got the happy hour jr (small size) buffalo and ranch chicken fries, they were ok but for the price I wouldn't get it again. For 10 wings, a jr size chicken fries, a water and a soda plus tip was over $30.
Okay so... not terrible, not amazing... just kinda there I've seen this place RAVED about on IG for the longest, so my expectations were definitely up there. I ordered the honey garlic shrimp & steak, and my friend got the buffalo ranch chicken. First impression: portions were actually pretty good for the price, so I'll give them that. BUT... everything tasted like it came straight out of a grocery store freezer aisle and was just... assembled Also when we walked in, the girl upfront yelled from behind to use the kiosk, we waited for a bit for her to come to the front to help us because we actually ordered for pickup & the food was still not ready at that point. The honey garlic sauce was watered down, The buffalo ranch was cold and the fries were fighting for their life... hard and not in a good crispy way. Honestly, I feel like I could've made both dishes at home with more flavor and a little extra love Would I come back? Probably not. But if you're curious... it's worth trying once just to see where you stand
As the name suggests, Mr. Fries man is all about the French fries paired with something else, like ranch-seasoned chicken, shrimp, and more. It's for sure comfort food; rich, indulgent, and unapologetically over-the-top. I'd recommend sticking with their traditional buffalo ranch chicken with fries. We got a Jr. which was pretty filling. I was adventurous and got the lemon garlic crab and shrimp burrito. For being almost $26, I expected more. The burrito wrap itself came out burnt, fragile to hold, and oily. Did appreciate being greeted when walking in and having the menu options explained to us. There is a large menu on the back wall and then smaller menus that contain pictures by the cashier. It felt a little muggy inside but it was a warm day. There were two tvs playing but wish the place had music on. No worries about parking, lots of spots, even with a Starbucks next door.

I got a 10 piece of lemon pepper with steak & shrimp fries my mouth is salivating even typing this it was worth every dollar! 1st time here & most definitely not my last. This place is a gold mine!
Small little place but huge flavor! Inside isn't nothing special but the food speaks for itself. Homeboy behind the counter was super chill and easy to talk to. The hello sauce has a good unique flavor. I'll be back for the Wednesday wing deal.

The flavor was actually on point, but the wings were very fatty and looked overly injected. The texture just wasn't it. I also ordered the garlic shrimp fries, and those weren't my favorite either. Overall, it felt overpriced I paid about $57 for 15 wings and regular fries with toppings. Service was mixed. The guy at the front was friendly and professional, but the young girl didn't really offer suggestions or guidance when I asked what was good. The slushie machine is out . Overall: decent flavor, but soggy wings, too greasy, overpriced, and not worth coming back
A lil sweeter than anticipated but so flavorful and delicious, almost an Asian influence with this honey garlic sauce. Stacked plate and not greedy with the protein either. Me and my man split this plate and still had a little left over, so while as it is a bit pricey it's definitely worth it when sharing. Server was a chill dude and the shop was clean with plenty of seating. Will definitely be back to try the wings and more sauce combinations!

I gave her $40.00 and she gave me back $28.27, my total was $26.73 Thumbs down , no dressing comes with the wings and the cheese not melted on the loaded fries. No refund policy because it's not worth the cost or the taste.

I'm definitely in my feelings about this dining experience. This was my first time and it did not disappoint. The experience started with a tour of the menu, by JoRon G. who was very attentive to me from the moment I came through the door.

This place definitely deserves 5 stars for their innovation on toppings for fries. I chose the lemon garlic crab and and shrimp. It did not disappoint. It was garlicky, crabby, and loaded with decent sized shrimp. All my favorite flavors in one dish was explosive. I thoroughly appreciated the real crab meat that was used. Overall, I was impressed with my dish, and I'm not surprised it's a "customer favorite." read more
Bring your big boy pants! Delicious, packed full of flavor! I had an hour to kill between dropping off a friend at the airport and a work meeting. I drove to a nearby coffee spot and saw Mr. Fries next door. A name like that deserves a visit. With the look inside and outside of a fast food place, I expected fries, cheesefries, and similar items. I was not prepared for Lemon Garlic Crab and Shrimp Fries. Super friendly worker greeted me and introduced me to Mr. Fries with his suggestions, but I was set on the crab and shrimp. He told me they use real crab. Awesome flavor, lotts of crab and shrimp, cheesy and well-prepared fries. I think I even taste some Old Bay Seasoning...just like my East Coast blue crab meals. The downside: was quite greasy, didn't have veggies/greens, and was about $30 with tax (for the reg size). Did I mention that the dude at the counter was awesome? Great service! read more
Everything is made fresh to order, so you practically salivate as you smell your order being made. Come before you hit "starving", or it'll be torture waiting. During our visit, we got the bacon ranch chicken fries. The size compared to the price is impressive. It was huge and was more than enough to feed me and the hubby. The fries and the chicken were crunchy. Highly recommended for loaded fries. Aside from the food, the people here were super sweet. While waiting for our food, we saw the front man nicely explain the menu to a couple who didn't know how to use their kiosk and had trouble deciding. Another worker was very observant and brought out napkins to another man when they noticed all his napkins were dirty. It's very heartwarming to see all these interactions. Also if you're trying to have a sports night, they do play some games on their TVs, so you can easily use this place to watch with friends while you eat. read more

Fix your open times. Arrived more than 30minutes before the stated closing time to order some takeout but was turned away from the door by employees saying that they were closed. The employees were out the door by 8:32pm when the restaurant says it closed at 9 on Tuesday evening read more

I am deeply saddened by the service a group of teens received at this Ontario location. After finding a beard hair in their food, they politely asked for an exchange. Instead of help, they were met with hostility and accused of planting it themselves. The situation escalated when staff began insulting these minors and threatened to call the police to force them out. No apology, replacement, or refund was provided. It isn't about the $20; it's about the total lack of basic respect and hospitality toward young customers. We just wanted to talk to the owner to escalate this matter, but none of the employees was able to connect with them, again refusing to be helpful at all. This place specializes in topped or loaded fries. The portions come in a Jr and large size. I really think the large is meant for two people as I couldn't even comfortably finish a regular by myself. The folks here are friendly and the vibe and service style at the place is more like a fast casual type place (where you order from the counter and wait for your food). I came in and ordered the Buffalo Ranch Chicken - Jr size. The food took about a few minutes and when I got it, it felt like a lot of food, haha. But with me and French fries, I can eat them pretty fast without realizing how much I actually ate up until any given point... Just a good spot for various style of toppings on fries. A great specialty eatery that's also conveniently located close to the Ontario convention center. read more

First off the establishment isn't bad, service wasn't the best, since the receptionist insisted us to order off the kiosk, you can tell he really did not want to talk to anyone. Now to the dish, I ordered the lemon garlic crab fries with shrimp. (Mind you I ate this right outside the joint) and to be paying $33 for something that has no hint of lemon or garlic, but straight butter and oil. Nevertheless the presentation of the dish, looked like diarrhea from a baby. If I were you I would not come to this place. It's impressive how they have maintained a 4.1 star rating over the years. Really disappointing knowing how much they charge their customers for such a disgusting plate. read more

I stopped by while I was doing some testing at the Doubletree, I didn't want to drive so walked there. It was 12:15pm and it was not crowded, I was the only customer. I ordered the small of the honey garlic steak with shrimp. I wasn't sure what expect since it was my first time here. To my surprise I was pleased and satisfied with my order. The small order was just enough for me. Mr. Fries is a fairly new franchise bc I have never heard of them. The place was clean and I was greeted upon entering. The girl at the counter was patient and explained the menu to me. They also sell beer. Maybe next time I'm in Ontario again I'll stop by and try the other flavors. read more

Food was pretty food although the toppings seem to be the star of the show, not the fries- solid 4.5. It's a casual place with a few tables but nothing fancy- which is fine too. Value for money spent could be a bit better. Service, while prompt, was not friendly at all- was not greeted or offered help of any manner. Solid 3-3.5 place and don't mind visiting again if I'm in the area. read more

This place is tasty, as a vegetarian they do have th option that you can add beyond meat in it as a meat replacement It's good! We got the lemon garlic but when we ate it it was a little salty for our liking But the guy who worked there was so nice which is why we gave a 4 star But the fries would be a 3 star because of it being almost $20 for something salty read more
Absolutely delicious !!! price is pretty hefty for seafood, very filling though! Ronald had amazing customer service greeted me upon entering even open the door on my way out! Went above and beyond! If your staying at the hotel show a room key and get 10% off your receipt! I ordered the lemon garlic crab and shrimp and glad I did perfect amount of everything and love the lemony flavor it brings the fries they used held up and stayed crispy without having a burnt flavor to it!!! Would recommend next time I'll try the wing my fav combo buffalo lemon pepper. And would try the buffalo chicken ranch!!! Or the surf and turf !!! Must try at least once. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to try out a new restaurant near by and came across Mr fries man. This place did not disappoint. We ordered the frybox and OMG let me tell you it was AMAZING. The service was great and restaurant was clean. We will most definitely return very soon. read more

Unfortunately me and my fiancé were hoping we'd be able to come back to enjoy another meal. Put in mind we hadn't ate all day so we figured let's stop by and give it a try . Never again I am so sick to my stomach I keep throwing up my stomach is bubbling as we speak. We had added crab to our meal and it was the worse choice ever and put in mind that was an extra 14$ all in total we paid 45$ just to get sick . I hate writing bad reviews but I definitely believe the crab or something was bad I've never been this sick in my life my stomach is in painnnn!!!! . so is my fiancés as well. disappointing! read more

Mr. Fries in Ontario is hands down one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. We dropped over $70 for 3 items and got garbage in return. The "steak" was nothing but sad little scraps, shrimp was not seasoned , the chicken was dry, and tasted like frozen leftovers. And don't even get me started on their insane drink rules -- ONE refill for soda and NO refills on Kool-Aid, which they conveniently forget to mention until you've already paid.. For these prices, the food should at least be edible & if we're eating in store drinks should be unlimited especially soft drinks .. totally confused on why they charge so much for koolaid when it's so cheap to buy at stater brothers... Total scam, total disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Never again. read more
We ordered the lemon garlic crab and shrimp fries ($36) and 5pc mamba wings ($10). Let's start with the fries. The crab tasted like canned shredded crab meat. Maybe it was? I'm not sure, but for the price point, I guess I was expecting fresh crab. I love crab but hate the canned stuff, so I ended up moving the toppings out of the way. If you like canned crab, then this dish is for you because the crab is loaded on top. Now those fries... that is a different story. Each fry was fried to perfection. Nice crispness when biting into it with a soft center. Haven't had fries fried so nice in a long time. Onto the wings. Those wings were delicious. Saucy, meaty, and a hint of sweetness. We ordered 2 dipping sauces ($1.05) for each sauce. After trying the dipping sauces, they are worth the extra $. Lemon garlic was nice and garlicky. Could not taste the lemon too much, but it was perfect as is. The jalapeno ranch was good, too. Ranch with a mini hint of spiciness. Would I order from here again? Yes. Would I order the same fries again? No. Their fries base was good, so I'm looking forward to trying the other toppings and their Kool-Aid. read more

My son and I stopped in Wednesday night, while waiting for someone to arrive at the airport. Izzy helped us, and boy was she beyond helpful! She recommended plenty of things that looked delicious, but we settled on a build your own jr, and a buffalo chicken. You could tell she cared about making our experience complete. The food was INCREDIBLE!!!!! It'll be my "airport" stop, everytime! And I hope Izzy is there! She rocks! read more

I always hate being the bad guy who leaves a bad review. As a fellow business owner I understand how it feels to see the negative reviews, but when they help me be a better business owner I am grateful. I don't know if the fries are meant to be super soaked in grease when you have bacon and chicken, or bacon and steak on them. I didn't even have them put the sauce on the fries. The sauces though did taste good. The color and style of the way you walk in is pleasing to the eyes. The people that were there to serve me were both nice. However back to the food overall terrible. The worse part is I spent nearly $60 on food for myself and my other half to only throw it away. It really was a bummer. I am wondering what happened to the nice fries that are shown on the walls done by the owner. They didn't look greasy. Maybe I need to try the original location in LA. I dunno just really disappointed to pay so much to throw it away. read more
