When you're at the airport and about to board a flight close to lunch time and don't want any of the pre-packaged ready to go cold sandwiches or salads - then you go to Potbelly and get freshly made sandwiches to go. It does take a little bit longer but if you have time to kill anyway why not? So that is exactly what we did. :) I just wanted an egg sandwich without the sausage or cheese - and they were totally ok with that. I got mine with lettuce and tomato. I wanted ketchup but surprisingly they did not have any! **Note to Potbelly Management: Please stock ketchup at your stores because some/many people like ketchup on their egg sandwich. Thank you!! :).** So I settled for the hot bbq sauce instead. It came on a 6 inch sub roll - I had it on the plane and it was good. The bbq sauce was actually not too bad on it. The hubs ordered the number 1 the A Wreck sandwich which has lots of meat - turkey breast, smoked ham, salami and Swiss cheese with lettuce tomato onion and he also got it with bbq sauce. He said it was tasty, filling, he liked the bread and overall he was quite happy with it. The ladies at the counter were nice and prepared the sandwiches to our liking. Prices were also very reasonable, not too crazy. It was $ 22.73 for the 2 sandwiches total which is great considering it's the airport. Overall good experience!

Sandwich all ready for the flight, just waiting for its boarding group.

If you find yourself in Terminal C and want to be the envy of your seat neighbor on your plane, then stop by and grab a sandwich. I'm a big fan of potbelly's and it makes my flight out of Logan just a bit better. My go to- chicken salad, no cheese on regular bread. Add some hot peppers (an insider secret I learned in Chicago) and that 5+ hour flight doesn't seem so bad. If you want an extra treat their chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are amazing (move over raisins there's a new sheriff in town).

Very hungry at the airport. They were out of several things but thankfully not the pizza (pepperoni?) melt. Prices were high (it's the airport) but the sub was stuffed full of goods and I had the option to add some more veg and pepper on top, plus other dressings if I wanted. I don't know if I've eaten here but the first bite was really good! Multigrain gave a good crunch and toppings + tomato were perfect meeting of sub and pizza. Super fast too (~5min or less).

The food is good. A nice, warm sandwich right before your flight . The service was good.

Asked for a turkey bacon lettuce and tomatoes and only received turkey and bacon and cheese.

This sub generally follows the rule of airport food ... it will be half as good as if you bought it at the sake brand restaurant outside the airport. I am not sure why this is ... focusing attention on customers who actually have choices maybe? In an airport you are basically held prisoner, everything is marked up a to a surrealistic high price and nothing is cool to buy. Logan offers precious few options and all are bad. Even beyond the 50% worse rule, you likely wouldn't seek out these brands for food if you saw them 'outside the walls' of whatever airport you are stuck in. Potbelly is basically a 'local-ish' version of Subway. Maybe more creative, but the same school cafeteria quality cold cuts and prepared veggies. If I got the food I got here outside the airport, I'd never return to the chain. Inside the airport, I'd consider this good to mediocre compared to the other options. I ordered the Turkey Avo sandwich. Blah sliced processed deli meat (not real turkey breast), a dry whole-wheat roll, slatheted liberally with a bullshit creamy processed avocado spread (well, not literally containing bull shit ... but not 'fresh') and melted Swiss cheese. They are always out of tomatoes or lettuce (today it was tomatoes) and they are VERY skimpy with the other toppings. Even Subway is more generous. Potbelly's claim to fame seems to be that they run each sandwich through a broiler/toaster machine which toasts the bread and melts the cheese. The sandwich is okay. Nothing special ... nothing amazing but better than you'd get at Dunkin, Starbucks or Wahlburger. You do pay a hefty price here as the sandwich is $11.50, which is what a steak cost 5 years ago at a hometown restaurant. I've had their egg sandwiches too. Better than Dunkin' but nothing is fresh. The counter staff here is a bit on the gruff side ... not in a rude way, but in a 'take no shit' way. I'll probably return when I am stuck in shitty Logan airport and feeling hungry ... not because its fantastic but because it's the best of the worst.

Horrible sandwich. Avoid. The "prime" rib was horrendous and I left feeling offended.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

This is the spot that I will take people to for breakfast when they visit...because you can't not get Sunny girl. I love the Lox sandwich, but pro tip: add in a fried egg. It goes sooooo well. Everything else is also good, especially the torta one, but the lox one is so unique. The citrus salad on it...just amazing. The store itself is a small shop and in the summers has outdoor seating. I've eaten in the outside area a few times, but I usually pick it up and take it back to my apartment. I think in a pinch you could eat outside, but inside is honestly way too tight because it does tend to get crowded. That brings me to my next point, I strongly recommend ordering online. While it's nice being able to order there and ask questions, you should be prepared to wait in a long line if you go in the weekend. It's safe to say this is a popular spot among locals...and everyone else. But rightfully so, the food is truly outstanding. A must try, and I can't wait for their new location in Southie!

Okay, so I understand that I'm definitely an outlier on this one given how much people rave about…read moreSunny Girl. Let me explain. For breakfast sandwiches in the city I'm used to Mike & Patty's, though I've been going to Archie's in downtown a lot more lately because I find it just as satisfying while also being much less expensive. I noticed Sunny Girl was somewhere in between in terms of cost. I also noticed how quickly they rose to foodie stardom, so I naturally went in with high expectations and the consideration that perhaps I'd have another quick service breakfast spot option under my belt. I made my way into Sunny Girl on a Wednesday morning before work at about 8:30. The place is very small, but there was a steady flow of people coming in, ordering, waiting a few minutes for their food and going on their merry way. They make it work. There are only a few stools inside for eating in, but they've got a few tables right out front for the nice weather. I ordered the breakfast grilled cheese with avocado added on, as well as an iced coffee. The coffee wasn't really anything to write home about for me, but I was really there for the sandwich. I grabbed my order and sat at one of the tables outside. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, it looked delectable at first glance. It had a decent cheese pull when I picked up the first half. For the first bite or two it seemed like everything inside worked together in harmony; that is until I realized that the bacon wasn't crispy. Not like it was just a little chewy on the ends, but legitimately undercooked on at least one side. To me, not many things are more dissatisfying than biting into gelatinous, underdone bacon. Not sure if this makes me nitpicky, but it kind of ruined the sandwich for me since I ultimately ended up picking about half of the bacon out. If the bacon was crispy or otherwise cooked more evenly, this surely would've been a knockout sandwich and the experience as a whole would've been worth at least four stars for me. Sunny Girl really seems to have a lot going for them; a good location, fresh ingredients, a loyal and ever growing customer base, an overall good concept. I genuinely want to like the place and my hope is that I just happened to catch them on an off day. It might be a little while before I return for another try, but if and when I do, I'll most likely end up trying a different sandwich and will also have to make a point to ask for extra crispy bacon.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Dinos is awesome! And the staff is very kind too (Note that the pic is taken from a train, I like to treat myself to Dino's before catching the Amtrak)
