STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great service and drinks, ok food. Our last stop at Logan airport before our flight. It was full but not packed, which was a welcome respite, and we actually had a great time, largely due to the very seasoned woman bartender who was ON IT. She was friendly, made great old fashioneds, and was speedy and efficient. Their cheese pizza was just ok (too much floofy crust, not enough cheese), but you can't have everything. If we ever find ourselves here again I sure hope that bartender is still there! read more

Quality is good and a decent portion for the money Had gotten a pizza two years ago and the one I got this weekend was still tasty - one more east coast pizza before flying out is always great! Ordering at the screen was glitchy - I kept trying and finally it said to order with the manager. When you are standing at the screen you can see to the back. Someone was sitting back there but basically not paying attention. Went over to where the bartender was and he took my order. Service was not very welcoming but oh well I just wanted pizza. I used to LOVE this place. Anytime I was in Boston I would make it a point to go there, have a sleeve of Beef or Lamb or a pizza. Was there yesterday and had a sleeve of beef. It was tiny pieces of beef. I'd say about half of the size you used to get. Tasted great. Not enough and it costs the same at $17-$19 per sleeve. I ordered a pizza because I was still hungry and they don't do slices. The pizza was good but it was almost zero crust in the middle forcing me to eat it with a fork and knife for the first few inches. Very fluidy. Not sure I'll be making an another trip. read more

We thought we had about an hour and a half before boarding our delayed flight so we stopped to have a beer and ordered a pizza. We were right next to our gate so we could monitor any changes. 5 minutes after we order our drinks and pizza we got notified that our flight was no longer delayed so we asked for the pizza to be put in a to go box. Then we sat there and ate the whole pizza while waiting to board. It was a roller coaster of an afternoon but I will say that pizza was damn good! We got a pepperoni and garlic pizza and scarfed down the whole pie before getting on the plane. I might have been able to eat a 2nd one it was that good. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The ordering system is a bit confusing if you have never been there. I shared a burger with my fiancé. It was very good. It's only a burger and a bag of chips. No fries. I think I would have preferred a little more relaxed atmosphere even if it was at Logan airport. But in a pinch it's not too bad! read more

A good friend who shares similar taste in pizza with me recommended Santarpio's when he knew we would be flying through Boston. We had an almost five hour layover and figured an easy Uber there and back and still make our flight. I then learned there was a Santarpio's at the airport and more importantly, in the terminal we were arriving and departing in. I realized being an airport location. It might not be as good but thought we'd try it saving about $40 in Uber charges. Short and sweet, the pizza was excellent. In addition, good service and reasonable prices are two things you usually don't see at an airport restaurant. Glad we skipped lunch before our original flight to be hungry for this very good pizza. Dara is a true gem! I've only stopped by here for a quick bite before my flight. My buffalo chicken wrap was disgusting. Ive mention it to the bartender and she asked me if I wanted to re make it, I said no because the chicken tasted old and cold. Dara went to get a manager to see if we can comp my wrap, manager Bekard (might be misspelling, this was on 03/29 at 3pm ish)came and gave me the look and said just give her a discount, with saying anything to me. I don't think he should even work in the customer service industry, let alone be a manage! Kudos to Dara for providing the amazing service! read more

I was early to a flight home from a business trip and looking for some dinner I could expense and checked Yelp reviews for what the least terrible airport food was. I was surprised to see that Santarpio's had 4 stars - rare for an airport restaurant! Well, it turns out that was the Santarpio's *outside* the airport, not the one inside, which is unlisted. So I have added the business here to tell my tale and hopefully save someone else from repeating my mistake. The tale is probably most efficiently recounted through the texts I sent my wife documenting the ordeal: 4:15 pm Me: The pizza is so big. But I want it. Wife: Get it, you hardly ate today M: It's close to my gate yay... it's packed W: I think you can order online M: I want to sit and have a wine :( W: There was another Italian place M: It's a steakhouse [Note: I'm a vegetarian] ... I think I see some people getting up W: Nice M: There seem to be spots at the bar opening... there's a sign that says "please wait to be seated", idk if that includes the bar W: Probably not 4:32 pm M: This is chaos I'm so uncomfy... it did include the bar btw. I got yelled at for trying to seat myself at the bar. W: Are you sitting now though? M: Yeah, at a dirty table. She told me she would send someone to clean it like 5 min ago 4:36 pm M: The man is now cleaning the table of some people who JUST left and ignoring me at my table W: WTF M: I'm 2 tables down from the table he's cleaning... and they're all 2 tops so they're not far. 4:40 pm M: A bunch of people are just seating themselves now. I want to cry. I'm so hungry. The man next to me left and the man just started cleaning that table to seat someone at it. 4:44 pm M: I finally just ordered. Only because I like minorly lost my shit on the guy. I was like, "I'm tired, I'm hungry, I know you're busy but I've been sitting at this dirty table for 10 minutes." Also he said there is no wine... lol. He said "we have no wine at all... except rosé." And I said, "ok so I'll have that." He said "ok it's the last glass" and I said "ok great I'll have that and a cheese pizza." I was going to get toppings but I decided it was not worth dealing with lol 4:50 pm M: [pic of giant glass of wine] Holy shit lol. W: Why is it so busy on a Thursday night M: IDK, how does this have 4 stars on Yelp if this is Thursday night?? W: Right wtf. Hopefully the pizza is good. 5:00 pm M: It's good. But I have no napkins or utensils. W: Of course. M: Not that I need utensils but I would like one (1) napkin. The server just brought a woman who just sat down a glass of white wine???? 5:09 pm M: Let the record show it took 10 minutes and asking 2 different people to get napkins. W: God. 5:15 pm M: Let's see how long it takes for someone to come back over. 5:20 pm M: I could probably leave without paying since I am apparently completely invisible. The people next to me are leaving. They sat about 15 min after me. 5:24 pm M: I just realized there are 2 sizes for wine on the menu and he did not ask me what size. I feel like this must be the larger. It was a lot of wine. I want to expense this meal but $20 for wine is embarrassing... 5:33 pm M: I have pushed the plates away from me. Really everything away from me. It has been 25 min since anyone has acknowledged me. W: I think you should speak to someone at this point. M: But who lol 5:39 pm M: The man just stared at me and my table and said nothing. I thought he was going to ask if I'm finished / wanted the check, but then before I could say anything he ran off. It has been 25 min since I stopped eating. 7 min since I finished the wine. 6 min since I put my mask on. 4 min since I put my jacket on. I have now moved my backpack onto the seat next to me, as a show of the fact that I want to leave. My flight boards in 40ish minutes. 5:47 pm M: I just had a nice convo with the family next to me. I told them my whole story. They were trying to figure out how to order, I said "oh the man will not acknowledge you unless you flag him down." 5:49 pm M: Ok! He asked me how is everything and I said "I will take the check." 40 min after I finished eating lol. W: Wow. Should prob have your card ready too lol M: True... It was the $20 wine :| 6:00 pm M: Ok we're getting dangerously close to boarding atp. The server did eventually come back, he did switch the charge to the smaller wine (though of course he blamed me for not specifying), and I did make my plane. 2 stars instead of the well-deserved 1 because the pizza was actually quite tasty. However, the most important feature of an airport restaurant is efficiency, and I have never seen anything quite this disorganized. read more

This place is total trash. Rude staff, filthy dining room, mediocre pizza (even for an airport!), nasty, clueless and unwelcoming service. Santarpios in East Boston has a storied reputation and I have had great experiences there. This place however, is a DISGRACE to its predecessor. Do not eat here and expect anything approaching the service, the quality or the cleanliness of the fabled East Boston location. AWFUL. Should be closed down. read more

Great food and a very friendly waitress who helped us figure out how to pay with the code thing. We are seniors and didn't know how . With over two hours to wait before boarding, I wanted to sit down for a light meal to kill some time. Since it's the airport, I expected inflated prices & low quality. Santarpio's Pizza at Logan Intl Airport in Terminal C was a pleasant surprise. There's a medium size bar. The dining area was crowded but I was able to seat myself at a table for two. Sure there was music playing from the overhead speakers but it wasn't deafening like the Mexican place close by. The waitress was very sweet & attentive even though she was busy. Ordered a pizza, which comes only in a 10" size thin crust and a house salad, which was more than adequate for sharing. Was it amazing pizza & salad? No, but the meal was pleasantly satisfying, better than expected & probably the best sit down option I noticed close to my gate. What surprised me the most was the price. My husband and I stopped by after our flight to grab some food. We ordered at the screen, not realizing we weren't allowed to sit and eat--no signs or communication made that clear. Instead, a rude waiter came over and abruptly told us we couldn't sit there. If that's the policy, it should be communicated clearly before or during the ordering process. The fact that you can order food but not sit and eat it is ridiculous. The staff member was short and dismissive, and never even came over to ask if we needed help or wanted to order.
