Cheese and mushroom pizza
Mike B.

A good friend who shares similar taste in pizza with me recommended Santarpio's when he knew we would be flying through Boston. We had an almost five hour layover and figured an easy Uber there and back and still make our flight. I then learned there was a Santarpio's at the airport and more importantly, in the terminal we were arriving and departing in. I realized being an airport location. It might not be as good but thought we'd try it saving about $40 in Uber charges. Short and sweet, the pizza was excellent. In addition, good service and reasonable prices are two things you usually don't see at an airport restaurant. Glad we skipped lunch before our original flight to be hungry for this very good pizza. Coming home we connect in Boston again. Another visit?? Hopefully.

Conflicting signage. Don't order a pizza from the front kiosk and expect to sit and eat your meal. "Dining" and "to-go" are apparently separate services, even though you're ordering from the same damn kitchen." They told me to leave after ordering a $20 pizza. *F this place.

This was just about the best pizza I've ever had Maybe it's because I was drunk and then handed a sausage garlic pizza and a bud heavy

With over two hours to wait before boarding, I wanted to sit down for a light meal to kill some time. Since it's the airport, I expected inflated prices & low quality. Santarpio's Pizza at Logan Intl Airport in Terminal C was a pleasant surprise. There's a medium size bar. The dining area was crowded but I was able to seat myself at a table for two. Sure there was music playing from the overhead speakers but it wasn't deafening like the Mexican place close by. The waitress was very sweet & attentive even though she was busy. Ordered a pizza, which comes only in a 10" size thin crust and a house salad, which was more than adequate for sharing. Was it amazing pizza & salad? No, but the meal was pleasantly satisfying, better than expected & probably the best sit down option I noticed close to my gate. What surprised me the most was the price. Good value for decent food & friendly service. Recommended

Best pizza in the city and the grilled meat skewers are worth drooling over. Gotta try this spot.

So we made the trek up to Thacher...it's not in the middle of all the Italian places, but not too far, either. Of course we had blistering heat on July 4 and there was a line. We were told 20 minutes to wait and the line did move as promised. Note that there were some locals in line with us. Regina's is not a tourist trap. We wanted to do a half and half pizza with pepperoni and chicken pesto, but were told you had to do a "build your own" for that. Two small pizzas were not too much higher in cost than a large. Prices are reasonable, we spent less than $50 for two small pizzas and two drinks. The pizzas were very good and the crust was excellent. Service was good. The place is small and I hear the Thacher location is better than the Fanueil Hall location. The menu has quite a few options, including a couple of vegetarian pizzas.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. Everything about our visit felt thoughtfully done, from the quality of the food to the energy of the space. If you're in Boston and looking for a spot with amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, and a great vibe, The Salty Pig is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! What really made the experience, though, was our waitress. She had the funniest personality. She was cheeky and a little snarky in the best possible way, and somehow made the whole table laugh without ever coming across as rude. She was genuinely one of the best servers I've had in a long time, and I'd honestly go back just hoping she's working. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

We had the meat lover's pie and oh my. Wgat a delicious fusion animals, cheese, tomatoes and crust. The taste took me back to a pizza I had many years ago at a place in Cambridge--in a great way! They only sell whole pies, which at first seemed annoying (the first time I tried coming here a few years ago I was by myself and couldn't eat a whole pizza alone) so I had to make this my inaugural tasting). But I see that as ensuring you are only eating a fresh product, where all the ingredients cook into each other and come out hot and ready, instead or something reheated from four hours ago because the day was slow. The menu is simple: pizzas and meat skewers. They know what they do well and lean into it hard. The ambiance has a rustic feel, with tall, weathered wooden booths that make eating a close experience, so please bring people you really like! The servers are present but not hovering and checked on us with the kind of frequency that says, "yeah we should let you eat but not forget you are there." I will be back for sure.

The steak tips and lamb tips were cooked very well, juicy and tender though lacking salt and seasoning. Sausage was good, a bit spicy. I didn't understand the addition of the bread, it was dry and there was no butter or olive oil to go with it. Portions were ok for the price. Pizza was ok, not my kind of pizza, the crust is very thin and cracker like, it doesn't hold up under additional toppings. Flavor of sauce and toppings was good, toppings were also generous. Service was fine, it took the wait staff a little bit to notice we were waiting to be seated. Overall it's worth a try, there's a reason they've been in business over 100 years.
