STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great service and drinks, ok food. Our last stop at Logan airport before our flight. It was full but not packed, which was a welcome respite, and we actually had a great time, largely due to the very seasoned woman bartender who was ON IT. She was friendly, made great old fashioneds, and was speedy and efficient. Their cheese pizza was just ok (too much floofy crust, not enough cheese), but you can't have everything. If we ever find ourselves here again I sure hope that bartender is still there!

Solid choice for food at the airport. Quality is good and a decent portion for the money Had gotten a pizza two years ago and the one I got this weekend was still tasty - one more east coast pizza before flying out is always great! Ordering at the screen was glitchy - I kept trying and finally it said to order with the manager. When you are standing at the screen you can see to the back. Someone was sitting back there but basically not paying attention. Went over to where the bartender was and he took my order. Service was not very welcoming but oh well I just wanted pizza. The restaurant needs to make sure it's order screen is working if they don't want to have alot of staff Pizza is a personal size and it was 16 this trip

A good friend who shares similar taste in pizza with me recommended Santarpio's when he knew we would be flying through Boston. We had an almost five hour layover and figured an easy Uber there and back and still make our flight. I then learned there was a Santarpio's at the airport and more importantly, in the terminal we were arriving and departing in. I realized being an airport location. It might not be as good but thought we'd try it saving about $40 in Uber charges. Short and sweet, the pizza was excellent. In addition, good service and reasonable prices are two things you usually don't see at an airport restaurant. Glad we skipped lunch before our original flight to be hungry for this very good pizza. Coming home we connect in Boston again. Another visit?? Hopefully.

Conflicting signage. Don't order a pizza from the front kiosk and expect to sit and eat your meal. "Dining" and "to-go" are apparently separate services, even though you're ordering from the same damn kitchen." They told me to leave after ordering a $20 pizza. *F this place.

This was just about the best pizza I've ever had Maybe it's because I was drunk and then handed a sausage garlic pizza and a bud heavy

With over two hours to wait before boarding, I wanted to sit down for a light meal to kill some time. Since it's the airport, I expected inflated prices & low quality. Santarpio's Pizza at Logan Intl Airport in Terminal C was a pleasant surprise. There's a medium size bar. The dining area was crowded but I was able to seat myself at a table for two. Sure there was music playing from the overhead speakers but it wasn't deafening like the Mexican place close by. The waitress was very sweet & attentive even though she was busy. Ordered a pizza, which comes only in a 10" size thin crust and a house salad, which was more than adequate for sharing. Was it amazing pizza & salad? No, but the meal was pleasantly satisfying, better than expected & probably the best sit down option I noticed close to my gate. What surprised me the most was the price. Good value for decent food & friendly service. Recommended

As tables became available, they would call people inside. I ended up at a small table by the bar area. I ordered a small chicken and prosciutto pizza. It was excellent and perfectly cooked as promised. The flavor combination was great: prosciutto, chicken, spinach, ricotta, roasted peppers, sauce, and mozzarella. So big I couldn't finish it. (Hubby was happy because he got to try something too when I got back.) In terms of service, it's the north end so a little brusque, but you'll be happy you came.

We ordered a pizza by phone during the St. Anthony Feast, and the woman who took our order was curt and rude from the start -- I chalked it up to the festival rush. But it got worse when we picked up. We paid $32 for a pizza and asked if we could sit inside to eat it and there were plenty of available tables. We were told no -- inside is table service only, and takeout means you take it and eat elsewhere. Fine, except there was nowhere to sit outside at the festival. When we asked about using one of their own outdoor tables (they had roughly 30, and it was 11:15am, 45 minutes before the festival even started, so the tables were empty), we were told those were reserved for table-service customers only. This was after we'd already spent $32 in their restaurant. Regina's has been around for 100 years, but somewhere along the way they stopped caring about basic hospitality. Paying customers with nowhere to eat their food shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience. We won't be back.

I decided to go with the Wicked Pesto Pizza. It came with the signature crust, pesto base, grilled chicken, blue cheese, asiago, and fresh garlic. The driver dropped it off in front of the building and I picked it up. After first trying it, I was not impressed. It was very hard and dry. I had to reheat it in the microwave for it to be edible. I was expecting a delicious pizza packed with flavor. Instead I got something that I had to force myself to eat. I know Boston is not known for their pizza but I was expecting something halfway decent. If it was not for the Uber Eats discount I would have been upset with spending the cash. Next time I will try to check out some other spots for a slice of pizza.

There were seating inside and outside. Inside was a lot larger than it looks. But they were understaffed and our waitress was running between both areas. When we could get her attention she was incredibly polite and professional but she could only do so much. After we ordered it too over 20 minutes for a proscutto cotto sandwich and two Margherita pizzas to come out. She was kind enough to ask them to add an egg to the sandwich which is usually added to a pizza. The sandwich was basically a fancy ham sandwich which was still pretty good. The egg elevated it in my opinion. The pizzas were also good, chewy dough, fresh ingredients, and not too charred. Then we looked for her to get the check. It took another 20 minutes before we could leave. The process just took too long.

Even though I was born and raised in the Boston area and have resided here for the entirety of my three decade long life, I've never had the original Santarpio's pizza until just now. I remember eating at their second location on Route 1 not long after it opened, but I thought it was just okay. Ever since then I've always thought to myself, "the original has gotta be better, right?" Well, my boyfriend and I finally made our way to the original Santarpio's on a Saturday a little after noon. The place isn't much to look at but was hopping for the weekend lunch rush with almost every table full, and we got put in what appeared to be one of the last available tables in the place. Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

They only sell whole pies, which at first seemed annoying (the first time I tried coming here a few years ago I was by myself and couldn't eat a whole pizza alone) so I had to make this my inaugural tasting). But I see that as ensuring you are only eating a fresh product, where all the ingredients cook into each other and come out hot and ready, instead or something reheated from four hours ago because the day was slow.
